I just had my wedding at Twist on Saturday and it was beyond amazing. The venue was stunning, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the FOOD… everyone only had compliments. I would definitely recommend hosting your wedding at Twist! -

When we were looking for a venue, we were looking for a place that would accommodate us and our guests for both the ceremony and reception. We were happy to find Twist Gallery nestled in the middle of Downtown Toronto. Nadia and the rest of the Twist team were very accommodating during our meetings, as we planned on how we would like to use the space.
On the day-of, everything was laid out by Twist staff and they were able to work with our wedding planner to get our decorations and table settings set perfectly before our guests arrived. The food service through Twist with Gusto went off without a hitch for both the cocktail hour, main service, and late-night poutine! The food (and drinks) was a hit amongst the guests.
Twist Gallery was the perfect venue for our wedding, and we would recommend it to anybody looking for a more warm and intimate space. -

My husband and I immediately fell in love with Twist Gallery when we visited the space. It's modern, spacious and a wonderful canvas to execute your vision. Unfortunately, we were not as pleased with the aftercare service we received from the main coordinator. The wedding industry is just that, an industry. We understand that not all staff can we warm and pleasant; we're just another couple down the conveyer belt. We went to our tasting and the food was excellent and we were excited to share this with our guests.
On the day of the wedding, all our steaks came out undercooked, late and some were even cold. Also, an entire service (the pasta service) that we were expecting was missed due to a communication error on the vendors side, which was brushed off and excused as a mutual miscommunication... When we called to chat about what we were not happy with on the day of, the coordinator said they had been made aware and that this never usually happens. Keep in mind, this was three days after the event and if they had been made aware, then why was there no follow-up? No apology, little to no acknowledgement or accountability, and it almost felt like we were being scolded. I was extremely disappointed with this reaction and thought about not leaving a review at all to not tarnish the other aspects of the wedding that went so smoothly. Other staff members at Twist Gallery are kind, helpful and the day of coordinator was accommodating. However, if this experience can help a couple stay alert up until the end - even after payments have been made and received - and be a bit more insistent if they're not satisfied with an aspect of the service, then this review will have filled its purpose. -

We appreciate how easy Twist made planning and executing our wedding. We went with them because they look after all of the tables, chairs, linens, glassware rentals and take care of the setup. All we had to do was supply the drinks and decor/florals and show up. They work with only 1 caterer (Gusto) and the food is top notch. People commented for weeks after the wedding about the food. Nadia is fantastic and took care of any issues we ran into. -

We are so thrilled we decided to go with Twist Gallery as our wedding venue. We only had about 5 months to pull our wedding together and Twist made it so easy to think through all the details to make our day perfect. When you sign your contract with them, you get access to a planning document which makes planning so much easier. Closer to the date, they are super responsive and helpful with every little question you may have. The actual day of went so smooth and it is very clear they have an extremely professional and organized team. Not to mention, the venue itself is unique, beautiful and will wow your guests. We got so many compliments about the venue, our guests absolutely loved it! Thank you Twist (and especially Nadia and Emanuelle) for helping to make our wedding day absolutely perfect! -

Gorgeous venue
We had our wedding at Twist Gallery in July. The venue itself is stunning. It’s unique, industrial, rustic, and classy at the same time. The windows, the beams, and the changing art on the walls makes it for such a special venue. It was absolutely the best venue and the best experience we’ve had.
Nadia and Emanuelle are super easy to communicate with. All of our questions and requests were answered promptly, and they help to keep you organized. The day of set up and tear down was timely and seamless. All the venue staff, the day of coordinator, the waitresses and bartenders, and food catered by Gusto were amazing.
The guests kept raving about how much they loved everything. Would highly recommend for a wedding or any other event! -

Planning a wedding during a pandemic was very difficult to say the least. The team at Twist Gallery (Nadia/Amie) were extremely accommodating and hands on to our ever changing plans. We were looking for a venue that allowed our wedding to feel like a huge dinner party and Twist delivered.
Day of our wedding was nothing short of service. While my husband, the groom was on call to help with all setup - the venue took care of everything (setting up the bar, decor, receiving vendors) so he could spend the day relaxing with the groomsmen.
Our evening was nothing short of perfect - I would absolutely recommend Twist Gallery for weddings where you want an urban backdrop, good food and a fun party.
