Located in Parksville, British Columbia, Tigh-Na-Mara Seaside Spa Resort offers a distinctly West Coast setting for intimate celebrations, destination weddings and larger gatherings of up to 200 guests. Nestled within 22 acres of fir and arbutus forest beside Rathtrevor Beach, the resort brings ceremony and reception spaces, accommodations, dining and resort amenities together in one memorable destination.

Ceremony and Reception Spaces

Exchange vows at our oceanfront gazebo, overlooking the Salish Sea and surrounded by landscaped gardens and green lawns. Seating can be provided for ceremonies of up to 200 guests.

Indoor reception spaces feature warm, rustic surroundings, natural light, fireplaces and flexible layouts. With several rooms available, couples can select a space suited to their guest count and celebration style.

Reception Packages

Tigh-Na-Mara’s comprehensive reception packages bring many of the essential venue, dining, beverage, service and setup details together in one per-person price. Package inclusions include the reception room, tables and chairs, linens, dinnerware, glassware, selected décor, canapés, dinner buffet, late-night food, dessert, hosted bar service and a dance floor.

Exact inclusions vary by package and wedding year. Couples will receive the current Wedding Information Booklet outlining available packages, pricing and policies.

Planning Support

From the initial inquiry through the final planning details, our Wedding and Events team helps couples understand the available spaces, packages and resort services, while documenting the arrangements Tigh-Na-Mara will provide.

On the wedding day, the Banquet team carries out the confirmed room setup, food, beverage and service details. Couples remain responsible for their personal décor, vendors and any planning or coordination services outside Tigh-Na-Mara’s contracted responsibilities. A Tigh-Na-Mara representative will be available to oversee the confirmed resort-related service timeline and address any questions related to the services we are providing.

Cuisine

Reception packages feature menus created by Tigh-Na-Mara’s culinary team, including canapés, buffet dining, desserts and late-night selections. Dietary requirements are reviewed in advance, and available dietary accommodations will be confirmed as part of the planning process.

Beverage options and included service periods vary by package, with additional arrangements available based on the couple’s plans.

Accommodation

Wedding couples receive a group booking code to share with their guests. This code provides access to a preferred group discount across available accommodation types, which may include rustic cottages, spa bungalows, studios and oceanview accommodations.

Discounts and availability vary depending on the wedding dates, accommodation type and other booking factors. Rooms are not held as part of a traditional room block, so guests are encouraged to reserve early. Select cottages are pet-friendly, and Tigh-Na-Mara does not charge resort, Wi-Fi or parking fees.
