Everything was amazing. The team was easy to work with and always did their best to accommodate our needs and wants. The space looked beautiful and the team took care of everything (even when we had a delay). The food and drink is delicious. Having the hotel rooms above and at 124 were great. Our guests loved being able to tour and be so close to the venue. -

We truly loved our wedding at The Gate House! It was a perfect day at a stunningly beautiful venue. Exceptional service the day of from the servers and bartenders; our guests were so happy and the food/drink was spectacular.
We also hosted a welcome reception at 124 Queen the night before. Caitlyn was instrumental in helping us that night, staying late and helping us make sure everything was perfect. We simply could not have done it without her and are so thankful. The bartenders and wait staff were fantastic this night as well. We loved the newly opened Lobby Bar!
We rented the 2 bedroom villa for myself and my bridesmaids to get ready in, and there was a ton of space so no one was on top of each other! Having the guest rooms above the event space was so convenient too- our guests even stayed at other places in NOTL and it was a short walk home for everyone after the wedding which was fantastic (no need for transportation costs).
We are so thankful for Caitlyn and her team in helping us prepare for and execute the best day ever. Have your wedding here and you will not regret it! Thanks again Gate House and Treadwell! We can't wait to come back again as hotel guests.

Where do we even begin with The Gate House?! Erin and Nicole are the best in the business. They held our hands from the very start and did not disappoint even a little. They made this stressful experience seem easy and thought of absolutely everything. They were provided with a vision and knocked it out of the park.
The Gate House as a venue speaks for itself. From the newly finished ceremony space, to the patio for cocktail hour and the beautiful elegant reception area this venue requires minimal decoration or work. This was the first venue we visited and it was not a close competition from there. The glass windows and timeless features provided something in our opinion that was unmatched. The food was 12/10, we have never seen or heard so many people compliment food at a wedding, it was served hot and cooked to perfection. There was never a line at the bar as the staff was top notch.
I could go on all day at everything they did right. If you are looking to have a wedding in the Niagara Region that is classy, intimate and perfect in every way then you need to look at The Gate House. -

Thank you to the staff at the Gate House and a big shout out to Erin and Nichole our wedding coordinators. They really know how to take care of you here, we had so many questions and they were so so kind and left us feeling so calm and excited for our big day after every conversation. They set up and took down our decorations so we didn't have to worry about a thing! Nichole kept checking in on us throughout our wedding day and really made us feel so special. The venue was perfect, our guests danced the entire evening away! With the large windows on the building we would dance to people passing by and they would dance and point back at us. Our guests would take a break from dancing and sit outside but said how they loved feeling that they were still included as you could see the dance floor. Aside from the spectacular venue, phenominal service, fantastic customer service, the wonderful atmosphere and care the staff put into the wedding, the food was out of this world!!! I had so many guests rave about how wonderful the food was, so so delicious!! We wouldn't change a thing. Thank you so much - Evie & Cody -

Amazing venue with incredible food
Couldn't imagine a better spot for our wedding than The Gate House - beautiful historic building situated in downtown Niagara on the Lake with gorgeous accommodations and only a 5min drive to The Commons for photos. Our ceremony was held in the brand new 124 on Queen courtyard which was truly charming. Erin and Nicole were amazing to work with - super responsive and organized. The day was smooth and effortless. And the food! All the guests were raving about every aspect from the hors d'oeuvres right through to the late night selection. An absolutely perfect place for a wedding! -

We cannot begin to explain how incredible our wedding experience was at the Gatehouse. The venue is located in the heart of Niagara on the Lake, it has old-world charm with a modern interior that was a perfect base to decorate & create the wedding of our dreams. Erin, Amanda, and the Q124 team were communicative, flexible, and incredibly generous throughout the process and made the task of wedding planning during the pandemic seamless. We are self-proclaimed food and wine lovers, and having high-quality options on our wedding day was paramount. And boy did Treadwell deliver! Our guests haven't stopped talking about how amazing the meal was, and those of us with dietary restrictions and preferences were blown away by the attention and care the team put into ensuring those needs were met. The day-of team took care of all the logistical needs and Erin communicated with our other vendors prior to the wedding day to ensure everything was taken care of. Most importantly the team made us and our guests feel comfortable, important, and celebrated. We highly recommend working with the GateHouse if you're looking for a beautiful and intimate venue that comes with an incredible team and high-end restaurant-quality food & wine. Our wedding day exceeded all expectations and in large part that was thanks to the GateHouse team.
