From the moment we inquired about Rosewood Hotel Georgia, to the day after our wedding, everything was beautiful, smooth and professional. Myself and fiance at the time felt valued, heard and understood throughout the planning process. The staff were easy to work with and communication with the events team was straightforward.
Food was one of our top priorities for us and our families so we did a buffet dinner with 130 guests. The buffet option didn't have tasting available, but we were VERY IMPRESSED!! The food was amazing - our guests couldn't stop talking about it.
The hotel had an events team to guide vendors for set up, take down, and deliveries, and the hotel event coordinator was incredibly supportive throughout the planning process and the day of. This made the wedding day very smooth.
The serving staff was professional and incredibly helpful. It was a cherry on top for our guests as their drinks were always topped up, plates were taken away promptly, and the flip from the ceremony and reception was quick and efficent.
Overall, I am so so pleased and overjoyed that we booked the Rosewood Hotel Georgia for our wedding. We wouldnt change a thing. -

Having my wedding at Rosewood Hotel Georgia was an absolute dream come true! This venue has always been my #1 choice, and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.
The hotel is incredibly romantic and timeless, creating a breathtaking backdrop for our special day. The lighting was on point, making every moment picture-perfect.
The decision to have both the ceremony and reception at Rosewood was worth every penny. It made the day stress-free and seamless, allowing us to enjoy every moment without worrying about logistics.
The canapes and mains served during the event were tasty and our guests thoroughly enjoyed the meals. The only minor details were that the sliders were dry, and the salmon aburi didn't taste exactly like during our tastings. However, these small hiccups didn't overshadow the overall fantastic dining experience.
One of the fantastic perks we received with the wedding package was a complimentary bottle of wine and a night's stay.
Special thanks go to Oksana, the wedding manager, who was an absolute pro. Her professionalism and organizational skills ensured that everything ran smoothly, leaving us with unforgettable memories.
We wouldn't have chosen any other venue for our wedding. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.

We first toured Hotel Georgia in Fall 2020 in preparation for our October 2021 wedding. From the get go, we had an amazing experience working with Melissa and the Rosewood team. Melissa answered all our questions even if they were minor. We welcomed her recommendations as they made our day seamless and appreciated her updates as we dealt with covid restrictions. I can’t express how great the staff was through the entire weekend. From check-in to the day of event to check-out, we felt at ease and honestly had no worries as everything was dealt with on our behalf. We felt very spoiled.
Melissa and her team worked alongside my day of coordinator to arrange all the room transitions (ceremony to reception; setting up tea ceremony in the tudor room; cocktail reception in the foyer, etc.). It was all so seamless.
And on top of all that, the food was amazing!
It was truly perfection and we cannot recommend Melissa and Hotel Georgia enough! -

This venue is by far the best in BC if you are looking for a fairy tale wedding. I can say this with certainty since I have looked at all the venues at this caliber. The professionalism, friendliness and helpfulness of the coordinator Danielle and the entire staff of the Rosewood Hotel exceeded our expectations. Danielle was such a big help, she went above and beyond to ensure we are happy with every aspect of the wedding planning. You could tell that she was genuily happy for us and wanted us to have the best experience. Again, the venue was perfect, the food was amazing and service was exceptional. I can go on and on but to keep this short, I highly recommend this venue for your wedding. -

We worked with Melissa who was very responsive to all our questions, and ensured our day was perfect. We didn't have a wedding planner, so we tried to figure out a lot of things on our own. She was very helpful in providing suggestions and guiding us to ensure we had a great time. The service on the day of was impeccable. The staff brought my husband and I food during the dinner reception so we didn't have to fumble around the crowd and we were fortunate enough to eat! We had the West Pender buffet and we highly recommend it - the food was super good. Booking with Rosewood on a Saturday night was not cheap, but it was well worth every penny. We also had our tea ceremony early in the afternoon in the Tudor Room which had a fireplace. Everything was set up on time and transitions were seamless. We could not have been happier with Rosewood Hotel Georgia. -

[Anonymous] Sent on 17/11/2016This hotel was AMAZING. We had a plated reception dinner in the Spanish Ballroom followed by dancing. The staff was responsive and the service exceptional. The food was equally amazing, as good as the best restaurants.
The only thing I would say is to check with the hotel what other events are booked the same night as yours. They have several smaller party rooms that share the same floor and bathroom as the main Ballroom. The night of our event there was a birthday party in an adjoining room where the partygoers were drunk and passing out in the ladies room at 9pm. Many of them appeared to be underage. Our event was black tie and it did tarnish the quality of the event hearing 16 old girls puking every time I went to touch up my lipstick.
The hotel did shut down the other party, but only around 11pm once this had continued for hours.
Subsequently I have heard that these types of underage events are common at the hotel party rooms for groups of overprivileged teens. Just something to be aware of.Rosewood Hotel Georgia's reply:
Thank you so much for your feedback, and we are delighted that you felt the hotel was AMAZING. We certainly do our utmost to give everyone the best experience at Rosewood Hotel Georgia, and hopefully memories that will last a lifetime.
As you have experienced we do have a number of private dining rooms on the same floor, which are kept very segregated 99% of the time. However the bathrooms are for all the functions taking place and as a result there is a cross section of guests on some occasions.
In this particular case, it was in fact a 21st birthday celebration and as we take underage drinking very seriously, we certainly do not serve anyone underage in the hotel or encourage such activity.
