We couldn’t have asked for a better space to host our wedding! The Derby Room at the Retro Suites Hotel was absolutely perfect for both our ceremony and reception. The venue was absolutely stunning! It provided the perfect ambiance for our special day with its elegant décor and spacious layout. The floor plan was well-thought-out, ensuring smooth flow between events, from cocktails to dinner to dancing. With 130 guests, there was more than enough room for everyone to mingle, enjoy the meal, and most importantly, dance the night away. The open layout also provided a sense of spaciousness, making it feel intimate yet comfortable.

The bar area was the absolute highlight of our reception. The retro light-up signs and décor really brought the entire space to life, giving it a unique and vibrant atmosphere. Guests loved taking photos by the bar, and it became a focal point of the night. The retro vibes added a fun, lively energy to the space, which was perfect for our celebration.
Parking was a breeze, with ample space available for all our guests. It was one less thing to worry about on our big day, and we received plenty of positive feedback from our out-of-town guests about how easy it was to find parking. The venue’s attached hotel also made everything incredibly convenient.

Food
The food at our wedding was nothing short of spectacular! From start to finish, every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and perfectly prepared.
For our plated dinner, we offered guests the choice of chicken, roast beef, or wild mushroom ravioli. Each entrée was absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy, the roast beef tender and flavorful, and the wild mushroom ravioli was a hit—rich and savory, with just the right amount of depth. The food was served hot and fresh, which made all the difference.
As for the starters, we had a mixed greens salad with vinaigrette and pasta with a tomato basil sauce. Both were incredibly tasty and light, the perfect way to start the meal. The pasta was perfectly al dente, and the salad was fresh and vibrant, with a tangy vinaigrette that balanced everything wonderfully.
The appetizers during the cocktail hour were another highlight. They were so delicious and passed around effortlessly by the staff. Our guests loved them, and they set the tone for the evening. And the late-night pizza snack? A huge hit! It was the perfect way to keep the party going, and everyone appreciated the tasty and comforting treat.

What really stood out was how well the catering team handled food restrictions. Every guest, no matter their dietary needs, was accommodated without a hitch, and the food options were equally delicious for everyone.
Overall, the food at our wedding was a major highlight of the day. Everything from the starters to the entrées to the late-night pizza was fantastic. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the meal, and we couldn’t have been happier with the quality, variety, and service. We highly recommend this catering service for any event!

Servers/Bartenders
The servers and bartenders were fantastic! They were prompt, friendly, and efficient. Our guests were served quickly and had nothing but praise for the staff's attentiveness. The bartenders crafted delicious cocktails and kept the drinks flowing throughout the night. The entire team was friendly and professional, and they helped set the right tone for the celebration.

Hotel
The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Having the hotel on-site made everything so much easier for our guests, especially those who had traveled long distances. It gave everyone the convenience of staying close to the venue and truly added to the overall experience. They were able to book rooms for the night and go straight upstairs after the reception, making the whole experience seamless and stress-free. It gave everyone peace of mind knowing they could enjoy the night without worrying about transportation or driving home.

Overall Experience
Our experience at this venue was nothing short of amazing. Every aspect, from the planning process to the final moments of the reception, was handled with care and attention to detail. We felt like the venue staff truly cared about making our day as perfect as possible. The Retro Suites was amazing to deal with; their wedding coordinator; Heather was a absolute doll to work with, I couldn't have had my dream wedding without her (she needs a raise for sure) . Tina was also amazing she helped us with our room blocks and was very responsive! The whole team there is amazing and very friendly! The rooms are also very nice, the best hotel we've ever stayed at it was so great to see all the different themed rooms, they were very authentic and charming! You wouldn't regret having your wedding or a weekend stay at this paradise!

I love retro suites , it's the perfect place for a wedding ! Its so unique and every wedding guest was saying how beautiful the hotel was , and how each hotel room was so different and unique . Michael , Gena , and especially Heather were all so professional and helpful .

We had a wonderful wedding experience with Retro Suites Hotel. We used the Chilled Cork restaurant for our ceremony and reception space and was perfect for our smaller wedding. The food was incredible! They accommodated every wish we had for our menu. Our guest are still talking about how good the food and the service was. Many of our guests also stayed in the hotel for the night and loved the themed rooms. The whole wedding weekend was amazing.
