We are pleased to offfer a range of indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception options for up to 250 guests. Wedding Exclusivity is included in most of our packages.

Facilities and Capacity

Eganridge Resort, Golf Club & Spa is home to 6 Different Potential Ceremony Locations, and 5 Different Reception Spaces to provide with the perfect match for your wedding vision; all of which offer incredible & unique views of the grounds & Sturgeon Lake.

Our Lakeside Wedding Tree is the most popular option for ceremonies. Our Treetops Ballroom is most popular for the reception, offering a capacity of up to 150 Guests for a seated reception in a modern, yet wam setting. Our renovated barn, now the Dining Room, a perfect ceremony location in colder months or should weather not cooperate. For more intimate events, The historic Dunsford House is a log mansion that is nearly 200 years old and is fantastic for vintage style and intimate occasions, or for getting ready.

For the truly unique, opt for Dinner & Dancing beneath the Stars on the Dunsford House Lawn, or in a Marquee Setup especially for you. Family and friends can take advantage of accommodations in their comfortable terrace rooms, Dunsford house suites, and homey yet luxurious cottages. They have choices that are designed to suit an extensive variety of needs as well as preferences.

Read carefully - detailed review pros & cons

We booked Eganridge because we’ve been guests of the resort a number of times and love the location and the serenity of it all.
However, our recommended rating on this venue would be 4/5 because although it was a nice place, it was still rather expensive and certainly has areas to improve.

1. Reception food was great, served chicken for dinner and appetizer finger foods for late night and the chef did an amazing job!

2. Bar and wait staff at the reception were very good. Bar did run out of some alcohol, concerning since we were a small group and not big drinkers. I have heard from other weddings this happened to them as well.

3. Ceremony location was beautiful background, it would be better if they could get rid of the Canadian geese and their droppings. The staff attempt to rake an aisle and ceremony location to clear the bird droppings, but my dress bottom was ruined during the registry signing and photos because of the bird droppings all along the waterfront, pier and grounds near the lake.

4. Accommodations were nice, we had many cottages and terrace rooms booked. Dunsford house is the only accommodations with 2 queen beds difficult to optimize rooms/guests. Cost of extra guests is higher with wedding rate than to book outside the group.
No complaints from guests on cleanliness of the rooms or cottages.

5. Front desk staff - some were exceptional and went above and beyond! Some were not helpful at all. The GM has advised new processes are being put in place to address situations we noted on our wedding day, as well as other couples noted in the past, please be sure to communicate and confirm on "day of" expectations or requests.

6. Wedding coordinator onsite does well with sending checklists and sourcing information but doesn’t follow through with requests or plans as discussed. Once again GM has advised that new processes are being created to avoid situations such as ours with the coordinator for future couples. Overall she helped keep the day on track, and did check in throughout the reception.

8. The Stables pub has great food and wait staff - definitely more popular with our guests than the main restaurant.

9. Golf Course is great for a 9 hole course. Most couples get complimentary round of golf and we were impressed with the condition and it is popular with locals and guests.

10. Spa - Newly renovated and re-opened just before our wedding. Staff were friendly and attentive. Space was clean and inviting, ourselves and guests enjoyed nail service, massage and facials. All were excellent

Overall Eganridge offers a beautiful location, with plenty of extras. We had a friday evening wedding and stayed the weekend to enjoy the resort. Some wedding guests stayed on the resort, others guests found reasonably priced accommodations in Bobcaygeon and we shuttled them in for the day.
