Our wedding at the One King West was truly a dream. Every element of the process leading up to the day and the day itself was so seamless and easy!
Starting with our Wedding Specialist, Shunell, she was incredible to work with! Her attention to detail, organization, and friendly spirit put us at ease instantly! She was willing to help us make all of our ideas and visions come to life, which made the day feel so custom and true to us! We knew we were in good hands. The whole team at the OKW was incredibly accommodating and great to work with! Even down to the waitstaff, we, along with our guests, were well taken care of.
The venue itself is stunning and so unique from anything else in Toronto, and we felt so lucky to get married there! All of our guests were in awe of its beauty, as were we!
Finally, the food. Arguably, from a guest standpoint, one of the most important parts. It was DELICIOUS! We had guests say their steak was the best steak they had ever had! And the carrot cake, it rivalled my grandmother's recipe. Once again, during the tasting, the OKW team was so accommodating, and we could make any changes we liked! To this day, we still hear from guests how much they loved the food! No one left hungry.
Having our wedding at the OKW was the best choice we could have made, and we can't wait to visit on our anniversary every year!One King West's reply:

We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue than One King West. From start to finish, the entire experience was incredible and truly brought our vision to life. The venue itself is stunning, the staff were professional, and everything came together seamlessly on our wedding day.
The highlight of our experience was our wedding coordinator, Shunell. She was absolutely amazing throughout the entire planning process. She was professional, responsive, flexible, and always willing to accommodate any requests we had. No matter what questions or changes came up, she handled everything with kindness and efficiency, making the planning process so much less stressful.
Shunell also connected us with several excellent vendors, which was incredibly helpful. On the wedding day, she went above and beyond by coordinating vendor arrivals, overseeing the setup, and ensuring everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. Knowing she was there gave us complete peace of mind so we could simply enjoy our day.
We are so grateful to the entire One King West team, and especially to Shunell, for making our wedding day everything we had dreamed of and more. We highly recommend One King West to any couple looking for a beautiful venue with exceptional service. Thank you for making our day so memorable! -

We couldn't be happier to have had our Wedding at One King West.
First off, the venue itself is gorgeous. It's such a classic and grand space - it was exactly what we were looking for. We loved having access to all the wonderful rooms.
The staff was fantastic. Highly attentive and very quick to respond. On the day of, they were so helpful and quick to make sure everything went smoothly.
It was without a doubt one of the best decisions we made.
Cant recommend it enough. -

We are so beyond happy we went with One King West for our venue for our cocktail hour & reception. It is such a beautiful and unique venue, the food and drinks were amazing, the team throughout the entire process was wonderful as well as the staff onsite during our wedding day. We worked with Angela during our entire process and I am SO happy we did, she was so kind, accommodating, and such a pleasure to work with! We would recommend One King West 100x over! -

My wife and I got married at One King West in February 2026!
The moment I showed my then fiancée images of the Grand Banking Hall, her mind was locked in on having our wedding here.
I reached out via email to request a consultation and received a response promptly. We were easily able to arrange a tour with Shunell, one of the wedding specialists at One King West, who also ended up being our wonderful wedding specialist! The tour led by Shunell was great and solidified further that this is the ideal venue for us, satisfying our vision. Furthermore, Shunell was extremely friendly, easygoing, while being professional all at the same time! We could immediately tell that she is highly experienced, has great vibes, and could trust her with our special day.
Throughout the year leading up to the wedding, Shunell constantly provided us with updates, helpful documents, timely reminders, and always responded promptly to our many questions and requests that came up. We were also able to request and book multiple in-person meetings (which we prefer over Zoom) with Shunell to go over additional details as we needed. During those appointments Shunell was always punctual, organized, and provided us with everything we needed.
On the day of our wedding, Shunell directed all our external vendors and the venue staff, along with her own tasks, to ensure our wedding day timeline was executed smoothly! I want to point out that we did not have a wedding planner, so we required a herculean effort from Shunell, and she absolutely pulled through for us! We basically just went with the flow and everything worked out so well thanks to Shunell!
The venue itself was of course so beautiful! We both felt so overjoyed seeing our vision come to life.
All in all, I would definitely recommend One King West as the wedding venue for anyone. The Grand Banking Hall's architecture speaks for itself. Austin Gallery is also perfect for having a classic wedding ceremony. Most notably, a huge shoutout to Shunell, who always went above and beyond our expectations and made this such a seemless experience for us throughout the entire process!

An Exceptional Wedding Experience at One King West
It’s difficult to put into words how grateful we are for Angela (our incredible venue coordinator) and the entire One King West team for their support throughout our wedding planning journey and on our wedding day.
From the very beginning, Angela was an absolute dream to work with. Wedding planning can feel overwhelming at times, but knowing we had her guidance, support, and expertise every step of the way made the entire process so much easier. No question was too small, no concern went unanswered, and she consistently made us feel like we were in the best hands.
Angela is incredibly organized, professional, responsive, and genuinely caring. She went above and beyond to ensure every detail was accounted for, allowing us to focus on enjoying our engagement instead of stressing about logistics. Throughout the planning process, she was a constant source of reassurance and support, and we always felt confident knowing she was in our corner.
On the wedding day itself, everything ran seamlessly. From coordinating vendors to managing timelines and ensuring every detail was executed flawlessly, Angela and the One King West team worked tirelessly behind the scenes to create a day that felt effortless for us and our families. We were able to be fully present and soak in every moment because we knew everything was being taken care of.
One King West is an absolutely beautiful venue, but what truly sets it apart is the incredible team behind it. Every staff member we interacted with was professional, kind, attentive, and dedicated to creating an exceptional experience for both us and our guests. We received countless compliments from our family and friends about the venue, the service, and how smoothly everything flowed throughout the day. The food was exceptional and exceeded all expectations—many of our guests told us it was some of the best wedding food they had ever had.
Looking back, there isn’t a single thing we would change. Our wedding exceeded our expectations in every way, and a huge part of that is thanks to Angela and the entire One King West team.
Thank you for helping bring our vision to life and for creating memories that we will cherish forever. We wish we could relive the day all over again.

Our wedding at One King West was a dream come true. It was a perfect day for our large group and guest count, and the staff were incredibly helpful - especially Angela who was with us from the beginning. She answered queries in a timely fashion and was so knowledgeable. She worked with us in the year leading to the wedding and was extremely professional throughout. Her guidance was particularly key as we drew closer to the big day. We loved our use of the grand banking hall for the reception, chairman’s board room for wedding party and close family photos, and Austin gallery for cocktail hour. -

Where to begin? Wow! What a venue! Just like finding your soulmate to finding your wedding dress, you know when you know; and that is what One King West was for us. The moment we stepped foot into the property, we instantly felt at home. There is truly no words to describe the feeling of stepping into Grand Banking Hall! What we loved about OKW is the multiple rooms available to YOU! We wanted to celebrate different parts of our day in different rooms, it was a way of creating different experiences but in the convenience of it being in one venue. All the rooms were stunning and offered the elegance we were after.
I want to highlight the amazing staff of OKW especially Shunell Wilson. If you ever get the chance to work with her, she is an angel. It truly made our experience 100x better. Shunell was very professional yet she has this charm that makes you just love her. She was very patient with all our requests, changes and she was just excited about everything which made us even more excited! Shunell went above and beyond for us, and there are not enough words that we can say to thank her for everything she has done. She is the most beautiful person inside & out!
Our tasting was so much fun. That is when it really started to sink in. The food was 10/10! Which was important to us. The quality & quantity of the food on the day was exactly the same on the actual day. After hearing horror stories from other brides who got married in other establishments that food quality dropped on their wedding day, I can definitely vouch that OKW delivers! All of our guests kept coming to us and complimenting how amazing the food was!
All of our vendors loved dealing with OKW. The day was handled with so much care and eye to detail. They all knew how the day is suppose to play out and we couldn’t be happier! The day ran smoothly and on time. The staff were all prepared and handled our party very well.
One King West is truly a magical place. They made our wedding experience so easy! If you are looking for timeless elegance with the most amazing service, look no further! We wouldn’t change a single thing! Happy planning everyone 💕 -

I have always loved staying at One King West so we knew we had to tour the venue. As soon as we met Shunell, our venue coordinator, and she took us into the Grand Banking Hall, we knew this is where we had to get married.
One King West is a stunning historical building and the reception space is breathtaking. All of our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the space was. It was also so nice that everything could happen in one place. Also, so many beautiful photo opportunities inside that we were able to have our wedding off season saving our budget! They had day use suites for us to get ready in morning of (I opted to upgrade to 1500 for space for the hair and makeup team which I highly recommend), our ceremony and cocktail hour took place in the Austin Gallery and then we had our reception in the Grand Banking Hall. No running around from location to location making our day and our guests experience stress free.
Speaking of stress free, I can't speak enough praise to Shunell for ensuring that our day was as such. She was our contact person throughout the planning process and venue coordinator for day of. She was so much fun to work with and made sure all of our little requests were executed without a hitch. Her responsiveness was amazing as well as her attention to detail. You could tell how professional she was and how many weddings she had pulled off. All the stress of planning was taken off my shoulders because the venue and Shunell took care of it.
I would not change a thing about our wedding and a large part of that is due to Shunell and the staff at One King West. Thank you so much for making our dream day a reality and we can't wait to come stay with you again. -

We got married on Friday, August 15th, 2025, and had such an amazing experience working with our wedding specialist, Angela.
From the very beginning, she was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the booking process and all of the key decisions leading up to the wedding, especially when it came to the menu and overall options. She was always responsive, organized, and genuinely so easy to work with, which made the entire planning process feel so much smoother and stress-free.
She took the time to answer all of our questions and made sure we felt confident in every decision. You can really tell she cares about her couples and wants them to have the best possible experience.
We also loved celebrating our wedding at the One King West Hotel. The space is so unique and beautiful; it truly made the day feel special and memorable. The food and service were amazing, and everything ran seamlessly. We especially appreciated how the team worked with us to tailor the experience and offer thoughtful options that aligned with our vision and budget, while still maintaining such a high level of quality throughout.
Overall, we had an absolute blast, and a big part of that is thanks to Angela and the One King West team's support throughout the process. We would highly recommend this venue! -
