Facilities and Capacity
The Ivey Spencer Leadership Centre is characterized by its exterior of classic red brick, with shuttered windows and towering white pillars surrounding its entrance. Inside, you will find a dining room with elegant white wall panelling, primed to host your reception or ceremony. You can welcome a gathering of up to 200 guests standing and 170 guests seated for your event. Enjoy the new outdoor Spencer's Pavilion for your outdoor reception that can accomadate upto 200 guests for dinner. Should you prefer an outdoor ceremony, this venue provides a wealth of space on its grounds. Exchange your vows in the gracefully designed gazebo as your loved ones look on, or hold a service in the sun on the estate’s expansive patio.
Designed to provide detail-oriented assistance to those that wish to celebrate here, the management of the Ivey Spencer Leadership Centre offers a number of services. Collaborate with the in-house catering sales manager to devise a plan for your dream day. Our sales Catering manager has hands-on experience in event coordination and is enthusiastic about her mission to help couples make the most of this bright, spacious venue. She can act as a liaison between you and the many helpful staff members that can bring the vision of your event to fruition. For example, executive chef Jeff Enwright can help to design a wedding menu suited to your specific tastes. A fully bartending staff can be arranged for your reception, serving champagne, specialty beers, and wines at your request. Furniture rental is available for your occasion, from ceremony seating to dining tables and chairs. Glassware, flatware, linen and china are included in this package. You may also request audio-visual equipment for use at your ceremony and reception. All set up for your event can be managed by the staff, allowing you to enjoy your day seamlessly.
Lodgings are easily accessible at this location. With 125 guestrooms including 2 suites, you and your guests can enjoy an array of features in these plush, comfortable rooms. Beautiful... but expensive
This place was on the higher end of the venue's we looked at but the idea of having everything set up for us, the excellent customer service they provided, and the full service from start to finish made my wedding 10x better that I didn't have to worry about anything.
80 guests open bar soup to start steak n lobster creme brulee 5 different passed apps and late night sliders.

When I first contacted Caitlin to see what dates they had available she was so quick to respond with times she had open to meet with us. From the first meeting we were so excited for our day to come!
The day of our wedding everything went so smooth it still feels like a dream. Caitlin took away all the stress people told me I would have as a Bride, and it was the easiest process leading up to the best day of our lives.
We would recommend Caitlin and Ivey Spencer to anyone who would be looking for a smooth process, a hotel on site for guests and a BEAUTIFUL inside and\or outside spot to get married.

You get the beautiful old Willow Room for the bride to get ready in. Then for cocktail hour you get the patio and the garden room. For dinner you have the dining hall, then afterwards for dancing you dance in the garden room and still have the patio. You also basically have your own washrooms in the hall. Lots of space and no need for shuffling things around throughout the night.
The only complaints I would have are that we couldn’t rehearse at the gazebo because it was booked with another event. Also you can’t get into decorate the hall until about 1-2pm because they have lunch for the hotel guests there. So you’re decorating crew has to be speedy to get it all done before a 4pm ceremony.

I also successfully competed against celebrity chef Bob Blumer.
