The venue was incredible and so perfect for our wedding. The planning was so easy, the staff was great to work with. The wedding package was such a good deal. The food was incredible. All of the hotel staff went above and beyond the whole day. All our guests kept commenting on how amazing the staff was. Honestly cant recommend this venue enough if you want a downtown Victoria wedding.

Grand pacific wedding was incredible from start to finish. Value for money was beyond anything I had hoped to get when I started planning a wedding. Neil and his team were amazing and professional from the first point of contact to the checking out.
Every guest at my wedding was so impressed and we were able to afford an amazing night that we otherwise would not have been able to. Would highly recommend to anyone.

We had our wedding reception here and WOW it exceeded our expectations! From day one, the team was so helpful and friendly, answering all of our questions quickly and thoroughly. And the banquet room is beautiful - as well we recommend the buffet, delicious! Guests are still raving about the food that night. Highly recommend.

Everyone at the Hotel Grand Pacific was amazing; the staff were all so happy and friendly, the wedding banquet was excellent, the whole team was efficient and organised, and James, the catering manager, could not have done more for us; he was flexible, supportive and just made everything so easy. We all had an amazing wedding day and truly appreciated the outstanding experience provided by the Hotel Grand Pacific team. Great value package too! We highly recommend them.

From the very beginning of planning my daughter’s wedding James at the Hotel Grand Pacific was amazing. Everyone at the hotel was excellent, their wedding package is so good. The bridal suite included in the package is amazing, the food was excellent, the setup was smooth. The staff went above and beyond to ensure the day was spectacular for the wedding. Nothing I asked was too much trouble for them (although I’m sure it was ). My daughter was thrilled with the venue and the entire package. I highly recommend the Hotel Grand Pacific as a wedding venue.

Our wedding was a dream at the Hotel Grand Pacific!!!! I would do it all over again!!!! We stayed there from Thursday until Sunday with our families and everything was super smooth. On the months leading up to the wedding, it was so easy to get things organized with Bianca and James, and they were rather accommodating about every single thing we asked, especially with menus and allergies. I am celiac and dairy intolerant and this was pretty important to me (that I would have our wedding reception in a safe place). It was also super delightful and exciting every time we came to the hotel to imagine how our wedding would be, especially because we lived in Vancouver and had to come down to Victoria a few times to get things organized. They always accommodated us on the weekends we could come. Another important thing is that they gave us a free menu tasting that was like a banquet. The restaurant manager gave us VIP treatment, booking a window table for us, and it was so much food that my husband could barely go through the three dishes! It was a wonderful date!! We also got tours of the bedrooms and the ballroom more than 3 times with our different family members and the hotel staff was always wonderful and willing. On the wedding weekend, I can't say enough....thank you all!!! It was dreamy!! From our room attendant Susan to every single door reception personnel, Bianca, James, and the kitchen staff. Our rooms were amazing, we got discounted rates for every single room, free parking, amazing swim time at the pool, most of us had sea view rooms for the same price, amazing breakfasts, our rehearsal dinner was absolutely amazing (the food was unbelievable and the host was so so so nice!!), they kept our cakes fresh and safe in the kitchen and our wedding reception was so much more than we could have ever imagined. On our wedding day, I got to swim in the morning, have a wonderful breakfast downstairs and when I got to the lobby dressed up and ready to go there was like a line up of hotel employees wishing me well, and clapping and smiling which really created a familiar environment for me! In the afternoon we got to rest in the lobby with our family and bridal party before the dinner started. There was even tea served to us. When we were about to enter the ballroom, Bianca was there to say goodbye, hold my coat and wish us well! So so sweet! We are still receiving compliments about the food...it was completely out of this world. Absolutely delicious, the service was absolutely incredible, and the amount of food.....unbelievable!!! We loved everything!!! What a special night it was....and in the end, the hotel graciously allowed us to clean up in the morning after which was so so helpful to us and our families. Because we got two nights for free in one of their greatest and most beautiful suites, my husband and I stayed there until Monday and this was just the perfect beginning for our honeymoon. When we got to the room on our wedding night there was a card from Bianca, a meat and cheeses platter and strawberries with chocolate. So nice!!! We will never forget our first two days as a married couple. Everything was wonderful I can't say thank you enough or recommend it enough!!! Book your wedding with them. You get a whimsical ballroom, a beautiful hotel with great amenities, incredible location and the price????? So so so incredibly affordable for what you get. Highly recommend!

Catering manager James Burrough and all the catering staff, kitchen staff, front desk staff and accommodation staff were so professional, accommodating and very flexible for our wedding plans. The whole process was transparent and stress-less and I can't say enough about them. From allowing my decorators to have access to the ballroom sooner than expected to making a special meal for me with my food allergies, the Hotel Grand Pacifc comes highly recommended by my husband and me. The package we chose was extremely good value for what was included and was nice to not have to be nickle-and-dimed for hidden things. The package was what it said it was, no surprises. All our guests were raving about how good the appetizers, dinner and service was during "cocktail hour" and dinner hour. Thank you, Hotel Grand Pacific, from start to finish!!

Booking the Grande Pacific was one of the best decisions we made! First and foremost, we must give huge kudos to the management staff. On more than a few occasions they went above and beyond our expectations to host a very successful wedding. From the arrangement of tables and audio visual equipment to the last minute late night request to practice our dance routine, the staff was absolutely amazing to work with. The location was an ideal romantic location. Outside, the inner harbour views and the wonderful ambiance of downtown Victoria amazed our guests. Inside, the venue is very well laid out and can easily fit any type of wedding. Close to all amenities and easy to park vehicles. The staff and venue were top notch. Many of our guests could not stop complimenting on the delicious menu that was provided by the catering team. All in all... this hotel is by far the best in Victoria!

We were absolutely thrilled with the service we received from both the event planner James and the hotel staff. James responded to all our questons quickly and was very helpful with providing options. We chose a price per person option which worked out very well for our intimate group and there were absolutely no hidden fees. The buffet food was fantastic & several of our guests raved to us about it after the wedding. Our reception went off without a hitch.

I was living away from Victoria when my husband and I began our hunt for our wedding venue. I had attended a lot of weddings in Victoria but had never been to one at the Grand Pacific. It was a venue we checked out on our hunt and the minute we saw the large ballroom with high ceilings and lack of pillars blocking guests views, we were impressed. We were really blown away when we saw the terrace and gorgeous harbour views that allowed for the perfect cocktail space we wanted our guests travelling from out of town to enjoy. We planned our wedding from the US and with the help of James and his amazing team our day came together beautifully. The staff were continuously very accommodating and really went above and beyond to make sure things ran smoothly and our vision came to life, including changing the room layout to accommodate our large bridal party. The food was delicious, staff were very friendly, and honeymoon suite had incredible views. I can’t say enough about this venue and the staff that made our day amazing. I whole heartedly recommend Grand Pacific without hesitation. It truly was everything we hoped for and have continued to have so many compliments from locals and out of towners regarding the venue.
