Absolutely phenomenal from start to finish!
We recently had our wedding at the Four Points by Sheraton Winnipeg South, and I genuinely cannot say enough good things about our experience. After spending two years planning our wedding, I can honestly say choosing Four Points was one of the best decisions we made.
I have to start with Deanna, because she deserves a HUGE amount of recognition. I worked with Deanna for the entire two years leading up to our wedding, and she was an absolute godsend. When we first started planning, I honestly didn’t even know where to begin. I had approximately a million questions, concerns, ideas, changes, and probably more than a few ridiculous requests 😂 — and Deanna handled every single one with patience, kindness, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm.
She was incredibly quick to respond, extremely informative, flexible, and so personable. I never felt like I was just another wedding on the schedule. She genuinely made me feel like she cared about making our wedding day exactly what we wanted it to be. Anytime I had a concern, she was on it almost immediately. Anytime I wanted to add something or change something, she was incredibly accommodating. Her communication throughout the entire two years was above and beyond what I could have hoped for.
And the hotel itself? Absolutely knocked it out of the park.
There were so many options available for food, desserts, drinks, lighting, and everything in between. The room was absolutely beautiful, clean, and perfectly set up for our event. We had plenty of time to set up beforehand and tear down afterward, and never once felt rushed or like we were being pushed out the door. We felt completely supported from beginning to end.
It honestly felt like they rolled out the red carpet for us.
The staff were phenomenal. Every person we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and genuinely pleasant. Even staff members who weren't directly working our event would smile, chat with us, and offer to help whenever we passed them in the hotel. That level of friendliness really stood out.
The hotel itself has such a beautiful, dark, modern aesthetic, and our rooms were gorgeous. They were bright, clean, comfortable, and incredibly well maintained.
We also ate at the hotel restaurant during our stay, and the food and service were fantastic. The portions were generous, the prices were very reasonable, and the service was phenomenal.
And then there was the wedding food.
WOW.
We received so many compliments from our guests about the meal we chose. The chef absolutely deserves recognition because the food was outstanding. Dinner service was also incredibly fast and organized. Nobody was sitting around waiting forever to eat, nobody was going hungry, and tables were cleared promptly. Everything just flowed.
The DJ included in our package was also fantastic. He kept the party going all night, was great about song requests, and had absolutely perfect timing. He knew when to keep things moving and when to let the party breathe. Our dance floor stayed busy, which is exactly what we wanted!
Another HUGE perk was the Presidential Suite that came with our package. We were able to access it at 8:00 AM on our wedding day, which was incredibly helpful. It was large enough for our entire wedding party to get ready comfortably, and having the additional complimentary ready room gave us even more space. It made the entire morning and getting-ready process so much easier.
From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we felt incredibly well taken care of.
Four Points made us feel like we were the only wedding they had on their minds, even though I'm sure they are incredibly busy and constantly booked. Every detail felt organized, every question was answered, and every member of the staff went above and beyond.
But if I could give one person the biggest thank-you, it would be Deanna.
After two years of emails, questions, concerns, last-minute thoughts, additions, changes, and probably more “Hey Deanna, I have another question…” messages than she ever wanted to see 😂, she never once made me feel like I was being difficult or asking too much. She was always pleasant, reassuring, knowledgeable, and willing to help.
When you are planning something as important as your wedding, having someone like Deanna in your corner makes an enormous difference. She took so much of the stress out of the planning process and made me feel confident that everything would be taken care of.
And it was.
Our wedding day was everything we hoped it would be and more, and Four Points by Sheraton Winnipeg South played a huge part in making that happen.
We truly could not have asked for better service, better food, better staff, or a better venue experience.
If you are considering Four Points for your wedding or event, I cannot recommend them enough. And if you get the opportunity to work with Deanna, consider yourself extremely lucky. ❤️

Deanna is the coordinator and she is an absolute godsend! She was so patient answering my million questions, the communication was fantastic, replying within a day or two (she even communicated to me when she was going on vacation and let me know I wouldn’t hear back right away) and would offer ideas and recommendations when I needed them.
The food at our trial was absolutely delicious, the year leading up to the wedding, my husband would bring up how excited he was to have the food again atleast once a day lol. I’m happy to report the food was just as good when served to everyone there, we had many guests rave about it to us!
We were able to set up the day before and take down our decorations the day after, which meant we could spend our wedding day focused on us and not have to worry about set up.
The Day of was extremely well organized and the staff were lovely. Our guests have had nothing but positives to say about their experience with the staff and how great this venue was. We’re so happy that we went with Four Points as our venue!!!Four Points by Sheraton Winnipeg South's reply:

Shawn and her team at the hotel are beyond amazing. From our walk through all the way to the wedding, communication was never a problem, Shawn always answered all my questions quickly and thoroughly. Although the venue is inside a hotel you would never guess it when inside the ballroom. The food and staff were both AMAZING. The bartenders Cole and Erin were polite and extremely nice, and all of our guests were very impressed with the dinner service as well. I found the prices very comparable to the other venues. It was important for me to find a venue that included everything as I did not want to have to deal with renting tables, chairs, getting food vendors….etc. The Four Points is amazing for anyone looking for an all inclusive or build your own package.Four Points by Sheraton Winnipeg South's reply:

We are so grateful that we have Four points as our reception! Shawn,the in house coordinator is heaven sent. I didn’t have to worry about the timing,talking to vendors as she took care of those even though our wedding is not the all in package and it worked for us so well! They adjusted for our requests and the highlight was the food! Our guests are saying how good the food was even for our picky guest! Complimentary hospitality suite and honeymoon suite was totally amazing!Four Points by Sheraton Winnipeg South's reply:

amazing experience and would highly recommend!
we were so impressed with the service from shawn and the entire staff at four points sheraton south pembina. we heard nothing but compliments about how good the food was! it was so nice knowing decor, DJ and flowers for the reception were all taken care of through the hotel. we will recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a reception venue or even just a hotel to stay at!Four Points by Sheraton Winnipeg South's reply:
