We are so, so happy that we chose The Barn at Sadie Belle Farm for our wedding day.
I don’t even know where to begin with all the ways that Elizabeth and Bob went above and beyond to help make our celebrations perfect, but I’ll go with the lead-up communication. Elizabeth responded to each of my many (probably too many) emails promptly and patiently, always going the extra mile to get any extra details that we were curious about. Given that we were planning our wedding from BC this really made all the difference in putting our minds at ease.
Bob was truly an expert at anticipating our needs and pulling off all the behind-the-scenes work the day before and day of our wedding.
Together they helped us execute even the most challenging elements of our wedding, including a stage for live music, sufficient heat on a windy October day, a bubble machine during our ceremony, and even a balloon drop. We could not have done any of these things without their competence, patience, and willingness to help. You can really tell this isn’t their first rodeo!
Lastly, the venue itself and everything included. The barn is a stunning cottagecore dream and many of the needed amenities are available onsite, including (but not limited to) silverware, gorgeous vintage china + teacups, tables and tablecloths, and access to several additional locations such as a quaint outbuilding, accommodations, and a beautiful little chapel across the road in case of rain. The further into the planning process I got, the more grateful I became to not need to worry about these things.
I would recommend the Barn at Sadie Belle Farm to anyone planning their wedding in Nova Scotia, even couples who may not immediately see themselves getting married in a barn. The bang for your buck, versatility, and magic of this place is unmatched.

This September, Kate and I had our wedding at The Barn at Sadie Belle Farm, and it was nothing short of magical. Bob and Elizabeth were absolutely amazing from start to finish. The grounds, barn, and entire venue were stunning—beautifully manicured and full of thoughtful details that made our day unforgettable.
Elizabeth officiated the most heartfelt and touching ceremony we’ve ever experienced. Her warmth and kindness shone through, and she was such a delight to work with throughout the entire planning process.
Bob went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, even assisting with the return of equipment when we had to travel the following day. On the day of the ceremony, his coordination and attention to detail were invaluable.
We had an absolute blast and we couldn’t have asked for a better day or a better team to bring it all together. If you’re looking for a venue with stunning scenery (close to beautiful Wolfville wineries, too), incredible service, and personal touches that make your day truly special, The Barn at Sadie Belle Farm is the perfect choice!

There isn't enough stars to give a proper review to this Venue and the incredible team of people running it! From the second we walked in we fell in love with every aspect of this place. It's charming, romantic impression leaves you feeling like you're in a fairytale with the rustic structure, twinkling lights and vintage finishing touches.
The Property allows for many different ceremony location preferences, beautiful scenery for photo's and even has a gorgeous running river through a short path in the woods!
The owners are SPECTACULAR. I can't speak highly enough about them. Elizabeth and Bob were both so helpful with setting up/rehearsal, accommodating to our preferences and things we needed, quick and responsive the entire 2 years of postponing and replanning as well as went above and beyond as hosts to ensure our weekend there went as smooth as possible. The day was perfect thanks to all their help.
if you're considering a barn wedding, I highly recommend taking a drive to Hantsport to check this place out!

Could not have been happier we picked this place!
We planned our wedding around securing this venue, moving it up several months because I loved it so much. Bob and Elizabeth were so easy and helpful and they orchestrated everything wonderfully! The venue is so pretty it doesn't need a lot of decorations to look amazing. When you book here, you get the day before and the morning after as well, so you can decorate stress free and clean up the next morning too. There is a property on site to rent to stay in (you are about 20 minutes from Wolfville which is the closest place if your guests want to stay somewhere) but you as the wedding party can stay there and have your wedding night there too. It was perfect and we absolutely loved it! -

Sadie Belle was my husband and my dream venue. It is seriously beautiful, rustic but also elegant. Also the size is wonderfully intimate. Elizabeth put up with my multitude of emails over the course of a year and was quite patient. She was also our JOP and her service was so touching. Highly recommend! -

As soon as we walked into the barn we knew we had to put down a deposit and secure our wedding date because it fit our needs so perfectly!! The barn is adorably rustic and cozy!
We opted for wedding package 1 as we didn't need to use the vintage (and adorable) china and cutlery they are able to provide. The contract we signed clearly outlined price and what was included, and because we got married Oct 9, 2021 Elizabeth answered all of my messages about possible restrictions giving us any info she had at the time. Speaking of the owners, Elizabeth and Bob were so kind to us, perfectly accommodating, accessible and helpful when it came to setting up and tearing down, they were always there but never in the way. Such nice people!!
We had plenty of time to decorate the barn for the reception and outdoor ceremony space since the weekend package included Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday morning (yes - lots of time for take down too!).
We had our band set up on the back deck (it's huge!), our minister was set up with a microphone to make it easy for our guests to hear the ceremony, and indoors we also had a microphone for speeches and sound system for music that we hooked a phone up to.
We had 80 guests fit very comfortably on the main level and 20 sit upstairs in the overlooking loft. All of our guests commented on how wonderful the venue was!
Although not heated, we were able to get a couple propane heaters to keep us toasty until the dance started. And might I say, nothing is better than dancing on barn wood floors!!!!
My husband and I stayed in their cottage on-site. It would've been great for anyone wanting a place for their bridal party to stay too as it can sleep 6 comfortably, has a little kitchenette, living space and bathroom.
We are so happy with our decision to book our wedding at Sadie Belle Farm and highly recommend! -

We got married at Sadie Belle Farm in August 2021 and we were thrilled with the service we got from Elizabeth and Bob, they were top notch. The venue was excellent and we have received dozens of positive remarks from our guests on how beautiful Sadie Belle is. The property offers both outdoor and indoor areas for the ceremony and meal and there is a large deck attached to the barn. We opted to have the fire pit included in our booking and many of the guests thought it was awesome. Overall the experience was 10 out of 10.
