Karli and Clarence are true gems of people, and they helped us to have the most magical wedding.
And the location!!! You cannot find a better spot that provides privacy, stunning views, space to host the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing, and not feel cramped in any way!
The bridal suite was perfect for the ladies, and the camping was ideal, too!

We held our September 2022 wedding at Jumping Pound Ranch and it was a DREAM. We heard about the ranch serendipitously, and when we drove out to meet Karli and take a look at the site, there was just a beautiful field of snow and glorious sky. It felt meant to be. Karli and Clarence then put in unimaginable effort to build a glorious venue from the ground up in record time. We really wanted a tent wedding, but were struggling to find an affordable way to do that, especially without sacrificing amenities like bathrooms and power! JPR was the perfect solution. It's far enough away from the city to feel magically secluded, but close enough to be logistically feasible. We are already feeling nostalgic about the drive to and from the venue during prep and on your wedding day, the landscape is breathtaking! A perfect example of big open sky Alberta.
To compliment the stunning view, the venue also features beautiful wood plank flooring inside the tent and a very popular cocktail area overlooking the valley. The venue owners (Karli, Clarence, and their sweet kids) are delightful to work with, supporting us in designing and hosting the creative and unique wedding of our dreams. We encourage any couples planning an Alberta wedding to book JPR asap!

Karli and Calvin were amazing to work with for my daughter's wedding. They responded to our many questions very quickly and helped us find unique tables and chairs and outdoor decor to personalize our event. Then when the weather turned stormy last minute they saved our event by coordinating a large tent for us and reset up the entire ceremony area. It is an amazing venue, the views are stunning and we would highly recommend holding your event there

My husband and I had our wedding there this September 2022! Karli and Clarence helped make our day so special and easy going that the stress levels were minimal! They have the most beautiful venue that if you’re looking for a ranch, rustic mountain wedding you don’t have to look anymore! With a beautiful spot for the ceremony, a spacious reception area and a view that’ll accent your wedding photos (even our guests had some amazing photos with the creek and mountains in the back). They have it all! We couldn’t picture getting married anywhere else, with the ranch and the Paterson family our wedding day was perfect!

There are not enough words to express my gratitude to Jumping Pound Ranch. Karli goes above and beyond and she is the kindest soul. The venue is beautiful, the setting will take your guests breath away. The tent it’s stunning, spacious and simply elegant. The location is just over 20 minutes outside of the city which is extremely convenient. I truly felt my wedding was meant to be at JPR. The day went off without a hitch.
