Celebrate your future with a step back in time at Fanshawe Pioneer Village. From a 19th century barn to our Trillium Community Gallery, Fanshawe Pioneer Village has the perfect location for the wedding of your dreams. We can help you organize a vintage-themed event in a heritage building or an elegant reception in a tent on the grounds or the modern Spriet Family Visitor Centre. Whatever you choose, we would be thrilled to be part of your love story.

Facilities and capacity

The facilities found at Fanshawe Pioneer Village include both indoor and outdoor locations for ceremonies and receptions. They include The Village Barn which can hold up to 110 seated guests, the Trillium Community Gallery which can hold up to 150 seated guests or tented receptions for up to 1,000 guests.

Pop-Up Weddings

Take the stress out of your big day and let us do all the planning, prep, food and decor! This year's pop-up wedding date is Saturday, September 26th

Our pop-up wedding packages are a two hour ceremony and reception for you and up to 30 guests completely planned and managed by us at the Village. Here is a bit more about what it features:

Ceremony in our Jury Yard Garden:

• Personalized 20-30 minute ceremony by Something New Officiants (including an orientation with Something New and a one-hour rehearsal the evening before).
• Live piano music selected by you for your processional, signing, and recessional. Pianist will also provide some welcome music as your guests arrive.
• Seasonal bouquet and boutonniere provided by Harris Flower Farms.

Photos:

• Photography provided by Rebecca Nash Photography including photos of the Ceremony, 20 minutes of family and guests photos, and a few photos of the reception.
• Couples will receive a minimum of 10 edited photos.

Reception in our Village Barn:

• Individual charcuterie boxes provided by The Grazing Ace for each of your guests (vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available).
• Champagne toast (non-alcoholic punch also provided).
• A small cake for cutting.
• Speaker and microphone set-up for music, or for speeches or first dance if desired.

Additional:

• All set-up and clean-up provided.
• Admission for all your guests to Fanshawe Pioneer Village.
