The Copper Creek Barn wedding venue is truly one of a kind! If you are looking for a beautiful, country chic venue to get married you can stop looking. Shelley the owner makes planning a wedding so easy as she takes care of all of the little stuff so that you can focus on the big picture and more importantly relax before the big day! The amount of work Shelley puts into each wedding and their set up is incredible. She ensures that your day is not only unique to you as a couple but the most perfect day it can be. Her passion about her work is infectious and it leads to a wonderful day and night. We are so grateful to have gotten married here and to all the hard work Shelley and her family put into making our day truly extraordinary. We had a “covid 19” wedding this past weekend at copper creek barn for under 50 people. Shelley was absolutely amazing and accommodating with all the requests we wanted. She built us a chuppah and set up and decorated the space for us. The wedding was very small and personable - THANK YOU for making our wedding day so special!

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Copper Creek Barn! Before discovering it, we looked online at just about every venue in Edmonton and the surrounding area and I really couldn’t find a venue that worked for us. Everything was either too far out (inconvenient for our guests), too expensive, too ugly, and more.

I had a long list of requirements. I wanted a venue:
- With an outdoor ceremony site and an indoor reception site (I didn’t want my guests to be moving to different venues in between)
- With beautiful surrounds so that we wouldn’t have to leave to take pictures and we could keep our cocktail hour short
- That would allow us to bring our own alcohol and wouldn’t charge a corking fee
- With a rustic look
- That fit within my price range

After checking every venue in greater Edmonton, I couldn’t find a single venue that met all my criteria, so we gave up on wedding planning for a while. Eventually we discovered Copper Creek Barn and we were shocked that it met all our criteria plus more like coming with an incredible array of décor to choose from, AND a day of coordinator. We booked it immediately and never looked back!

Copper Creek Barn is absolutely beautiful, close to the city, and a great value! Especially considering what you will save on décor (the decor inventory is a pinterest bride’s dream)! Of all the things that make Copper Creek Barn amazing, the best of all is Shelley! She is the venue owner and day of coordinator. She responded to all of my emails so quickly! This is especially amazing considering our wedding season consisted of all covid delayed weddings and has been named the most intense and busiest wedding season ever. It was almost impossible to get responses from vendors but Shelley always responded quickly! And she was an incredible day of coordinator! The day of coordination alone is worth the full venue price! I didn’t feel any stress the whole day because I knew that Shelley was taking care of it! She continued to check in with me throughout the day to see how I was doing and to let me know that everything was going well and according to plan. She kept me and my bridal party on track and made sure we were always where we were supposed to be. She asked great questions that made me realize just how on top of it she was (questions I’d never even thought of!).

I could write an essay on how incredible my experience was at Copper Creek Barn and how amazing Shelley is!

We got married here on July 2, 2022. The service & hospitality Shelly offers is beyond. The items she has available for you to use, the fact that she gives up her house the morning of for you to get ready. It is phenomenal. It rained the morning of our wedding day and Shelly said we had to make a decision if we wanted to do the ceremony outside in the drizzle as originally planned or inside the barn. We decided to do it in the barn & it was the first every ceremony in the barn there. It was gorgeous. She made our entire wedding day & weeks leading up to our day amazing & stress free. I am so thankful for Shelly & am so happy to be a copper creek bride.
