Cork & Crate Estates started as a family owned tree farm and was majestically transformed into a one-of-a-kind special events venue. Enjoy the most private and picturesque location in Central Alberta! Cork & Crate Estates offers two specialized venues. A boutique “Teahouse” elopement centre, and a large custom venue “The Courtyard” and “Vine House.” Our 28 acres of amorous trees, sunflowers & privacy fenced estate is located in beautiful Mountain View County. With 45 minutes south of Red Deer and 45 minutes north of Calgary, you can see why it’s the perfect one stop sanctuary to celebrate with friends and family. A must see outdoor haven!
Cork & Crate began in 2012 with the wedding story of the founding owners, James and Rhonalyn Carpenter. Their wedding and love is what blossomed their vision of creating a passionately beautiful experience for others looking to join in union.

The Experience
James & Rhonalyn Carpenter’s mission is to provide every Bridal Couple with the wedding of their dreams.
They accomplish their mission by allowing couples the flexibility and ease of creating their special day. The gardens are filled with sunflowers, which represent adoration, longevity, and loyalty, the three pillars that Cork & Crate strive to share with every couple.
Services Offered
Cork & Crate Estates offers a number of services to help you seamlessly facilitate your special day. They can provide full bartending services for your event, serving the beers, wines, and liquors of your choice to you and your guests. Event rentals such as chairs, tables, and tents are also available. You are welcome to include outside vendors in order to fully customize your experience at the farm. These can include caterers, entertainment, photographers, florists, and more. For your convenience, ample parking is available on site. This property is also wheelchair accessible. Take a trip to this rustic wonderland and celebrate your union in style.

Perfect all day venue
The owners went above and beyond!
The owners James and Rhonalyn were truly amazing. The tables and chairs were already set up for us when we arrived, and they were there helping us set up and clean up the entire time. They really went out of their way to make sure all of our requests were accommodated. You can tell that this is not just a business for them, they really care and want you to have the most magical day. They even took the time to meet our families and made sure that everyone was comfortable.
They also give you the venue for the entire weekend. We were able to do our rehearsal there the day before, and we were able to come back the day after to clean up. It really makes the whole experience stress-free.
I could not have chosen a better place to create the best memories. Highly recommend!!!
Incredible Venue!
At the time, the Vine House actually had not been built yet. The venue owners, James and Rhonalyn sold us on their vision for the event space and we decided to proceed based upon their enthusiasm.
We are so glad we bought into their vision, as the venue is truly phenomenal and more than what we had expected.
So many of our guests commented positively about how beautiful and elegant the entire property is. They loved the atmosphere, and the ample space to explore beyond just the building itself.
Throughout the process we could tell how committed and determined both James and Rhonalyn were to making the vision for our wedding a reality.

Our guests were in awe of the place and they really enjoyed themselves. Their beautiful venue offered so many areas to take amazing photos that you will cherish for a lifetime.
