Cambium is an absolutely stunning venue! They provided the perfect backdrop for our dream wedding. The staff was incredibly attentive and ensured every detail was executed flawlessly. Kaitlynn, our coordinator, was truly exceptional! Her attention to detail, professionalism, and calm demeanour made the wedding planning process a breeze. She went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our special day was perfect. Kaitlynn's expertise and dedication made our wedding day unforgettable. Meagan also assisted with our rehearsal dinner and other events and was equally fantastic to work with - she effortlessly adjusted for a forgotten allergy (our mistake, not hers) and made sure everyone was taken care of. Our guests loved the ambiance and beauty of the venue. Pictures don’t do it justice. Highly recommend Cambium Farms and their team for anyone looking for a magical and unforgettable wedding experience! -

On October 15 (yeah I fell a little behind with my reviews) I got married at Cambium Farms and it was without a doubt the most magical day of my life so far. Outside of the joy brought with any gathering of family & friends, the venue and the staff made the day extra special. The Cambium Farm venue is beautiful inside and out. We were initially planning an outdoor ceremony, but evidently it rained that day so the ceremony got moved into the Barn. Looking at the pictures I am so glad it turned out that way. The Barn was dressed up so beautifully with fairy lights overhead, a chiffon backdrop, and the perfect stage for the bride & groom to be seen by all guests. Following the ceremony we moved down to the Byre for the reception. The Byre featured beautiful stone walls, Edison bulb lighting, and fully renovated bars and bathrooms. It was absolutely gorgeous. It was exactly what we envisioned and it was certainly a huge topic of conversation following the wedding.
Now I want to shine a spotlight on the incredible staff that helped us through the entire wedding journey. Colin was my designated event coordinator and he was a blast to get a chance to work with and party with at the end of the night. Colin was there through the entire wedding journey, the lead up, the day off, and the aftermath. He went above and beyond with helping us along the way with planning, set up, explaining options available, coordinating on the day of, helping us maintain a budget, and ironing out any hiccups along the way.
The other member of the Cambium Farms team I worked closely with was Meghan. Meghan was part of the ‘beyond the wedding day’ service. To all future brides I HIGHLY recommend the Decor Support service. Meghan and her team take all the raw products and make your vision come to life. They set everything up, tear it all down, and pack it all up for you. When our ceremony location had to change some of the decor we planned seemed as though it would be forgotten, but Meghan and her team thought up some great ideas to bring that decor into the Byre and set it up beautifully. The tables, placards, guest book, card box, lights, photos, head table, etc. all was beautifully set up by Meghan and he team. At the end of the night her team then boxed it all up for me and the next day I was able to come by and simply load the car. I also recommend the Mimosa Bar for while the Bride and Bridal Party gets ready. It was such a nice touch for our early arrival at the Farmhouse and as a prelude to a long joyous day.
While I most closely worked with Colin and Meghan I want to note that the entire staff is AMAZING and everyone who helped us along the way was an absolute pleasure to work with. The Cambium Farms team won’t let you down! Overall 10/10 and all the stars available. I couldn’t be happier with my Cambium Farms wedding and I am certain that anyone who chooses this venue for their wedding will have the best wedding day. A big THANK YOU to Cambium Farms and their entire staff. -

We got married here on Friday, October 13, 2023 - and had Colin and Meagan as our points of contact. From day one, the easy-going nature and friendly communications of the Cambium team members put us at ease. My husband and I would say we are quite down to earth, and we didn't worry for a moment about the capacity of the staff to do a wonderful job. The day was magical, and it went off without an issue. We didn't have to lift a finger and all the personal (whether it be Colin, the Cabrel Team, the bartending and DJ) made us feel special.
We wouldn't hesitate to return here for any event or recommend it to a future couple!

Farah K. Sent on 06/11/2023Terrible Experience due to Wedding Coordinator
We had our wedding here this August and the service received from Colin our wedding coordinator made our wedding, both before and during, so stressful that we would not advise anyone to have their wedding here.
This is especially disappointing given how expensive this venue is, you spent $90,000 with everything when all is said and done (it was in the summer, on a weekend, in the barn, we went with O&B for the food, we paid extra for the ceremony and our own dj but we did the decorations ourselves and had a family friend give us a discount on the flowers).
We were so shocked because all the other reviews said the service was amazing but we that is not the service we received. We are queer couple and both my wife and I are people of colour. And I don't think it's because either of us are bridezillas, many of our vendors such as our photographer, mehendi artist and even the security guard told us how either we were easy to work us and/or that our guests were amazing.
The response from Cambium Farms has been to completely avoid all accountability which will always add a taint to how we remember our wedding. Even though the venue is beautiful the stress was not worth it. We did have a great time but only because our wedding party, some of our guests and caterer (shoutout to Brooke and Jessica from O&B) were so incredible and stepped up to save the day.

And if you do go with the venue and get Colin, try to see if you can switch or hire a wedding coordinator.
Some highlights from our experience:
- It took two months for us to be assigned to a wedding coordinator, and we had to email our wedding coordinator, Colin, when we were told they would get in touch with us in a week
- We had to request and then wait 2 and a half months for the floor plan / we only got it three weeks before our wedding. This meant we had to scramble to print our seating program and our florist didn't have a lot of time to order either (and there was a lot more lack of support from Colin pre-wedding too)
- Even though weather apps predicted 70% chance rain in the afternoon, Colin did not call us morning of our wedding to ask us how we would like to proceed (even though before he said he would if there was a high chance of rain). He did not pick up when we called him right before the ceremony when the rain started. My (now) wife had to go and get him, he then advised us to just 'wait it out' which thankfully our photographer, who was with us and is a true professional was tracking the weather, advised us not to do as it was going to be raining pretty much non-stop for the next couple hours. And of course Colin did not have a backup ready so him and the team having to re-set up delayed everything by an hour and during this time all 150 guests were crammed in the Carriage House
- He did not cue us in and basically after bringing up to the Byre for the ceremony he dipped for the rest of the night (although I did see him at the bar on his phone once we all started dancing). His reason was because one of our wedding guests who is an event manager told Colin he would be the point of contact and help out as we expressed concerns to him on Colin's abilities given our experience leading up to the wedding. So even though we had told Colin before we did not hire a wedding coordinator, he 'let' our guest do his job not bothering to clarify with us and essentially took advantage of how nice our guest was.
Not to say it was all bad, but there is definitley more that went wrong than the above and the fact that they have taken no accountability after we have expressed our concerns in excruciating details (thankfully we are great at saving all our emails and more than willing to spend the time to dispute their 'reasons') says a lot about this business.Cambium Farms's reply:
Hi Farah,
While we are sorry you feel this way, we do need to attend to your claims as they are grossly inaccurate.
Firstly, any accusation or insinuation that Cambium Farms is not LGBTQ or BIPOC friendly are false and in fact, defamatory. Not only have we hosted events in support of these communities, we’ve also hosted countless clients and employ/work alongside members of these communities, many of which worked alongside Cambium Farms staff/Colin during your event and have for 10 years.
Your previous reviews (since removed due to defamation) and internal communication, have sharply accused Cambium Farms, it’s employees and Colin, of being intolerant to the above communities, which couldn’t be further from the truth. To paint a small business or people you barely know in this way are both extremely inappropriate, disappointing, and unacceptable.
We value and cherish all people, regardless of sexual orientation, race, religion, or creed. To suggest otherwise is flat out false, unjust, unfair, and defamatory. We will pursue this insinuation legally by whatever means necessary.
Your assignment to Colin as “Event Coordinator” was not months after booking. In fact, your booking, as evidenced through email, was not contractually finalized until December 6th, 2022 and you were assigned an event coordinator (Colin) by our office on December 19th, 2022, less than 2 weeks after your booking. Given events are booked many months, if not years in advance, we need time to review schedules prior to an event coordinator assignment. In this case, you were provided this promptly.
At the beginning of January 2023, after the holiday season, regular communication began between yourselves and Colin. Unfortunately, there were gaps where we were unable to provide information to you, as you had been unresponsive in our requests for guest counts, table types/sizes etc., which without, created issues in providing a floor plan on our end. Communication from your end with external vendors and Cambium Farms was so absent, that both Cambium Farms and vendors questioned whether the event was going to proceed. So much so, vendors were considering not providing service on your date.
On the morning of your event, Colin was approached by a member of your wedding party/guest (Blake), to introduce himself and announce to Colin and other staff, that he would be the point person on the day, to avoid Colin needing to interrupt the brides/wedding party in preparing in the Farmhouse for their big day. This was news to him. He made Colin aware that he was a wedding planner in Atlanta, Georgia and would be taking control of the details of the day.
Rain was in the forecast but well after ceremony time. Contractually, you had access to all the spaces associated with the Barn (Farmhouse, Carriage House, Barn and lawn spaces surrounding) which were prepared. Your contract was not to have access to the other event space, The Byre.
As guests arrived, it began to rain sooner than expected. Colin entered the Farmhouse to ask what you would like to do. It was decided to move the ceremony and cocktail hour to the Byre, which was promptly switched over to accommodate a ceremony and cocktail hour at no charge ($1500 plus HST). This required the move of 150 chairs, setting up a new bar and all AV equipment/DJ to accommodate this change, which Colin directed. As noted on O&B’s post event report, the Byre space was set and ready for ceremony at 4:35pm, 5 minutes beyond the standard ceremony start time. The post event report notes that the brides were notified but were taking photos, which delayed the ceremony start until 5:03pm.
In addition to this last-minute change, both O&B and Cambium Farms were made aware of a table addition of 11 guests. Neither O&B or Cambium Farms were prepared for this but did accommodate without issue or charge (approximately $2500 plus HST). Further, your schedule did not accommodate for the extra bar hours required, which Cambium Farms/Colin provided at no cost ($1500 plus HST).
Colin was onsite the entire day from 9am to 2am to manage all vendors/staff onsite (over 50 staff). Upon the decision to use the Byre, Blake took control of ceremony entrances, which Colin observed and assisted with. After that, Colin managed all vendors behind the scenes and was present throughout the evening and closed the event, as standard practice at the Farm.
We at Cambium Farms, are always willing to admit to lack of service or accommodation should that be the case and are willing to find ways to improve, so that future clients can have an elevated experience. In this situation, we believe we went above and beyond to ensure you and your guests were accommodated to the best of our abilities and at no additional cost to you.

Cambium Farms was all we've dreamed of and more!
Cambium Farms has been my dream venue from day 1 and after finally getting married there on July 22nd, I can without a doubt say it exceeded all of our expectations. Kaitlynn was our coordinator and she was wonderful! Throughout the year of planning she was always there to answer all of my questions promptly and with great detail. On the day of our wedding, she made the entire day flow seamlessly, she was extremely organized and handled everything with ease. Kaitlynn and her team helped bring our wedding vision to life, it was everything we pictured and more. The venue itself was absolutely stunning and is like no other barn venue. From the ceremony on the lawn, to cocktail hour in the carriage house, and the reception in the barn, each space was unique and beautiful. We have received endless compliments from our guests on how beautiful of a venue it was. For our catering we chose Oliver and Bonacini and are so happy we did! The food and service was incredible. I will recommend Cambium Farms over and over again. Thank you again to Kaitlynn and her entire team for helping us bring our dream wedding to life! -

My husband and I are the quirky couple who decided to have a batman inspired wedding. And let me tell you ... Sara and the Cambium team were stoked!!! Sara was professional, personable, and amazing to work with. When our wedding day came it was freezing. Sara was quick to action to suggest heaters for the barn (as it isn't heated) and to move the dancing portion of our wedding to the byre where it was heated. As every weddings have them... there were hiccups and Sara jumped to assist in making the day flawless. Perfect venue. Perfect staff xx -

Going with Cambium Farms was hands down, the best decision we made for our reception! From the moment of our first inquiry a year ago to till the actual night of our reception, the team, in particular Colin and Sara were the most amazing people to work with!!
Planning an event, especially coming out of the pandemic, is very stressful but Colin+team made the entire process so easy, breezy! They answered all of our questions, was always patient, flexible and just so kind and understanding!! Our guests cannot stop talking about how gorg and beautiful the venue is, how fantastic the service, ambience, all of it!
Everything went smoothly without a hitch, thanks to the team! We are so grateful we came across Cambium--the venue made our special day extra magical! Thank you team Cambium!!! :) -
