So happy we found Through the Lenz

Wedding pictures make beautiful memories, however, a video is something else. A way to not only capture the moment, but to relive the experience and emotions.

Doug and his team made this vision a reality for us.

From the beginning, Doug's communication was superb. Quick and detailed. He aided us in our preparation and his honesty and experience helped guide us in planning our wedding. He took the time to get to know us and our tastes in order to craft something that would be fitting to our style.

After sampling some of the work Through the Lenz does, we decided to hire them as our cinematographer and photographer. Their pricing was competitive and fair. All our correspondences were pleasant and we never had a moment of doubt. Doug and his team really made us feel like we were in good hands, a huge stress relief when trying to plan your big day.

They captured all the important moments perfectly and the catalog of videos and photos we have at the end of it all is incredible. We recently had the chance to show our family the video and the room was filled with smiles, laughter, and the occasional tears. I loved that Doug was also able to livestream our ceremony so that some family that could not attend in person, were still able to be there with us in the moment.

Overall, we are incredibly grateful for Doug's hard work. Having been through it all now, we can't imagine having done things differently.

The BEST Videographer for one of the best days of your life!

Doug was AMAZING! From our initial meeting about a year before our wedding to the wedding day and post wedding it was a true joy working with him! He took extra care to make our video unique, adding in elements and edits that were important to us to allow us to be able to relive our wedding for years to come! If you want a wedding video and videographer that wants you to be as excited and really commits to telling your love story, Doug from Through the lenz is your guy! The Best Wedding Videographer

Doug was a phenomenal videographer at my wedding and a pleasure to work with. His unique and creative style mixed with his videography talents made some of the best video I've ever seen. Amazing Wedding Video!

Thru the Lenz did an amazing job capturing all the wonderful moments from our wedding! The video they put together included all of the highlights and allowed us to relive the best moments from our big day. They were always professional and took our feedback to made sure the video was suited towards our vision. I would highly recommend them as a wedding vendor!

Grateful we decided on videography

We had waffled on getting videography and hired Doug about two months out from our wedding. We are so glad we did, Doug was so relaxed with a big infectious laugh and knew when to blend in with the scenery and let things flow and when to jump in and direct us. He worked well with our photographer who he had never worked with before and we captured all our good shots.
Our venue was double booked and having a rodeo the same dayy (yes, really) and Doug just laughed it off and rolled with it, which was exactly how we were handling it too.
He had a sneak peak back to us in a couple of days, the fully edited video, plus ceremony and speeches within a couple of weeks AND he sent us a hilarious blooper reel of assorted things going awry. So thankful we added in videography at the last minute and that Doug was able to do it.

Ceremony memories forever

I admit when we first started wedding planning, we were not sure what our video budget would be (or if we would even use a professional). We decided to contact Doug and it became obvious that he was the perfect choice. Doug walked us through the finished product that he would deliver and we met with him to describe our goals. He created and shared a wonderful memory of our meaningful ceremony. He communicated throughout the week of the wedding and I never doubted his ability to capture the day, while being respectful of our wishes. He delivered the finished product quickly and it was absolutely perfect. Thank you Doug for everything!

Perfect Wedding Experience!

Doug was SO amazing to work with! He was everything that we were searching for in a videographer and so much more - professional, creative, easy going and extremely dedicated. He was always quick to respond and was completely devoted to capturing our wedding vision from the very beginning. On our wedding day Doug made us feel very comfortable and communicated what he wanted us to do in each of our shots perfectly. He was very laid back and funny also which made setting up for each shot easy. We are not used to being in front of the camera and were worried that we were going to feel awkward but Doug took all of the stress out of shooting and made it such a fun experience. We received all of our videos and RAW files back quickly (within 3 weeks) which was incredible! All of the videos are absolutely beautiful and we feel that Doug captured us and our love story perfectly. He went above and beyond to capture all of the candid moments with our family, friends and wedding party and to take gorgeous shots of our venue and décor setup as well. We cannot thank him enough for being such a huge part of our special day and capturing all of the memories that we will now be able to look back on whenever we want to for the rest of our lives! We would highly recommend Through the Lenz to anyone looking to ensure that every moment of their special day is captured with a high attention to detail! :)
