My names Chad Gee and I am the founder and head videographer of Gee’s Videography! I started this company in 2018 after filming a friends wedding for them and falling in love with it! I am a trained videographer- I graduated from television broadcasting in 2016 and have worked on everything from documentaries to the 2016 Olympic Games for CBC.

I came up with the concept of my build your own video packages in 2018 when my fiancée and I started getting quotes for our wedding and I realized how much some vendors expected you to pay just for the time they spend standing around and waiting. Is waiting necessary at a wedding when people don’t want every second on film? Absolutely! Should the couple have to pay you more because of it? No! So you only want your ceremony and then your first dances filmed? Sounds great- with a build your own package you can just pay for those events- not the full day.

Finally, like many of you couples engaged right now, my fiancée and I too had to postpone our wedding this past may to next. So I can absolutely appreciate how tough this entire situation is to navigate! But you will get through it! And for those of you going ahead with your plans as scheduled with some adjustments- good for you!!
