I have known Aaron for a few years; I met him during our time as undergrad students at McMaster University. I always admired his creative and artistic talents during our Faculty events. When you see Aaron work, he puts so much of himself into his art and he has this contagious energy that makes you feel immediately comfortable. As we went into our very different career paths, Aaron continued to grow into his cinematography and I kept up with his work through his various social media outlets, always in the hopes that when my wedding would come, our paths would cross again. I mean… Who doesn’t want their wedding day being captured by someone they completely trust and admire? And it may seem unimportant to want to build a rapport with your wedding videographer, but to truly appreciate Aaron’s work you need to see that it is more than a product you are walking away with, it’s both an experience and a gift of being able to revisit that exact same feeling that you have on your wedding day. Throughout the planning process, I had full confidence that Aaron would deliver for us something spectacular - spoiler alert: he did not disappoint. The compliments we have received by our loved ones have been confirmation of what we knew all along. We chose the right person for the job!

Watching Aaron work on our wedding day was also a fantastic experience. There was this point during our couple shots, where all the photography and videography artists stopped for a second and watched Aaron work in awe. Even Justin and I were impacted by his artistic genius. This must be what is like to watch someone do what they are meant to do on this Earth. My husband and I often talk about this moment of our wedding day and how much it also influenced the way we were feeling in that moment. He was able to create such an intimate and romantic atmosphere for us that it allowed us to be vulnerable and be our authentic selves for the camera, in a way that did not feel like we were “posing” or that was “out of the ordinary” for us.

You see, in having this rapport, trust and admiration for Aaron’s work, my husband and I felt like what the photos and videos that were taken of us, truly reflected who we are as a couple and we still feel that way looking back. I don’t know anyone that has photos or videos like those captured of us from our wedding day. It is truly the ultimate personalized experience when you hire Aaron.
