  My sister’s wedding

  Chelsea went above and beyond to make my sister’s wedding gorgeous and as stress free as a wedding can be! I know that the amount of work she put into the actual wedding day was tremendous and everything went down without a hitch, was so beautiful, and my sister had practically no stress at all because Chelsea had things covered. Thank you for an amazing experience

  Amazing Wedding Planner !

  Planning a wedding involves a lot of decisions and my husband and I both agree that one of the best decisions we did during this process was to hire Something Azul (Chelsea). We found Something Azul online and decided to give them a call. My husband and I went for coffees with Chelsea so we could get to know her but mainly so she could get to know us and what we were looking for our wedding. She has a lot of experience and knows a lot of different resorts so she is able to help you choose the best resort (within you budget) for your group. In addition to travel agency, we hired Chelsea to be our wedding planner and honestly everything was in place and the wedding went smoothly because of this decision. We had 95 guests with plated dinners and everything went perfectly! We chose to flight Chelsea to Mexico so we could fully enjoy our time there because we knew she would get every detail of the wedding done for us. It was an amazing experience working with Something Azul. Totally worth it and stress free!

  Kristen with something azul has made this process an absolute DREAM! SO flexible and helpful with everything and always there to answer any questions we had. Made us feel so prepared and stress free for our big day. Truly the best of the best!!

  Highly Recommend!

  We feel so incredibly fortunate that we found Kristen at Something Azul. We knew we wanted a destination wedding, but apart from that we had no clue how to narrow down a seemingly endless number of resorts, in an infinite number of destinations, all while satisfying all of our ‘need-to-haves.’ It was all so daunting! We interviewed a couple destination wedding planners/travel agents, and clicked with Kristen instantly. Having had a destination wedding herself, she knew the excitement (and anxiety) we were experiencing, and provided invaluable insight. We gave her a rather lengthy list of resort must-haves, and a list of nice-to-haves, and then provided a max price per person we were aiming for. She returned with a few options that amazingly met ALL of our criteria (which we honestly thought wouldn’t be possible!)
  
  We ended up choosing the Iberostar Playa Mita (in the Punta Mita, Mexico area) for our destination wedding consisting of 60 guests. Kristen worked out an amazing package for our group, and gave our guests the option to upgrade if they were inclined to do so (which many did, actually!) She managed all 60 of our guests’ travel itineraries – booking their flights from various airports, and booking stays of various lengths. Everything was seamless. Our guests received clear, concise and reassuring communication directly from Kristen. And as the bride and groom, we were kept out of our guests’ specific booking details altogether (which was great!) One of our main worries in booking a destination wedding was that we’d become our guests’ “travel agents,” but with Kristen at our side, this never happened. Our guests knew their go-to-contact was Kristen, and she quickly developed a great relationship with everyone. Our friends and family really came to look forward to her super friendly and informative email updates.
  
  On the wedding side of things, Kristen made sure we were connected with the onsite wedding planners at the Iberostar, and gave them nudges and pokes on our behalf when they were late to respond. We took things away with the Iberostar wedding team (who were also fabulous) ourselves, and everything truly went off without a hitch.
  
  THANK YOU Kristen and the Something Azul team for finding us the resort of our dreams to host the wedding of our dreams. We are so relieved we found you to help us plan our wedding!

  By far the WORST experience I have had with a travel agency.
  
  Chelsea was the least accommodating person I have dealt with in customer service. She never replied to my emails, phone calls, nothing. When I voiced my concerns with how the wedding party was being dealt with I finally received a "sorry you feel that way" email, that's it. Her prices are absolutely ridiculous and she did NOTHING to make the booking process pleasant.
  
  I will never recommend this company and especially Chelsea to anyone I know looking to book a destination wedding.

  having Chelsea plan our wedding was the best decision we could have made. as busy parents with 3 little ones and full time jobs, i knew we would not have the time or energy to put into making our dream wedding come true, Chelsea was able to do it for us and exceeded anything we could have imagined. she was incredibly professional and very accommodating to our many last minute idea changes. we gave her a glimpse of what we were looking for, but we were basically clueless and she turned it into a masterpiece, all we had to do was show up, the rest was taken care of.
  i would absolutely contact Something Azul again for future travel needs.

  After meeting with Chelsea at the initial consultation we knew right away we wanted her to help us with our wedding. She is very professional and returns phone calls and emails promptly. Chelsea is well educated with the destination wedding process. One of her best attributes is that she takes the stress out of the whole wedding planning process. She constantly ensured we were ok and not stressing out. She was always there when I (the bride) was having a mini meltdown. She was able to address my concerns and put me at ease.
  Our wedding was Nov 6,2016 at Moon Palace in Cancun and it was so much fun!
  By choosing Something Azul to plan/book your destination wedding, you can be rest rest assured you will be in good hands!

  As soon as we met with Chelsea to discuss our vision and our plans for our wedding in Mexico, I was immediately comfortable and confident that she would be able to bring together the elements to make our trip and our day everything that we wanted. She was able to take the cross-border communication off my plate and ensure that we had all of the elements we wanted for our guests and for the day! We were simply able to relax and enjoy our time with our guests prior to the wedding and then fully take in the whole wedding day without distractions! Chelsea was more than accommodating to the changes we made along the way and really made us feel like she was there to make our day exactly what we wanted. It was truly a beautiful day, a wonderful hotel and hotel staff and an overall seamless trip! Thank you once again Chelsea for making it all happen for us!
