We hired Amy through a recommendation that she worked well with long-distance couples, and we were planning our wedding in Halifax from China at that time. There is so much about Amy that stood out, and so much she did that went above and beyond in helping us have our dream wedding. She immediately understood our vision, and checked in with us every step of the way. She was confident, talented and made us feel like we could genuinely ask her opinion and seek her advice. Many times, Amy provided emotional support as we re-scheduled a cancelled wedding, navigated COVID during the wedding week and all the regular stresses that come with wedding planning. Amy was our cheerleader, and a clam, even-keeled, helpful presence throughout the entire journey. She was a great communicator, clearly had strong, positive relationships with the wedding vendors and just overall, did a fantastic job. All of our family members, our minister, and some guests commented on how competent and kind Amy was - and how lucky we were to have her on our team! We completely agree. We couldn’t have done it without Amy! We were planning our wedding from B.C. and didn’t know the area at all.
