We could not have asked for a better wedding planner! From our very first meeting, Rachel was warm, organized, and incredibly knowledgeable. She took the time to truly get to know us, our relationship, understand our vision and made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. We got married in Kelowna BC, and although she is based in Vancouver, we just knew she would be the one to plan and create such a magical day.
Rachel’s attention to detail was impeccable — nothing was overlooked, and she handled everything with grace and professionalism. On the day of the wedding, that’s when we were able to see her really shine; we were able to fully enjoy every moment because Rachel had everything under control. She came fully equipped with items that we didn’t even think to bring and was able to help out with any wardrobe malfunctions minutes before heading to the ceremony. Rachel kept to our timeline and everything ran perfectly. All vendors and other family members who helped throughout the day were all coordinated flawlessly which allowed me and my now husband have absolutely ZERO stress, enjoy the day to the fullest and watch our whole wedding unfold into the most beautiful day than we ever could have imagined.
If you're looking for someone who will go above and beyond to make your wedding day unforgettable, Rachel at Jewel and Rose is the one to choose. We are beyond grateful for her support and can’t recommend her highly enough!

We cannot express enough good words about Rachel and her team, as she was the truly the best vendor and support as we went through the last year and a half of wedding planning! Rachel was one of several wedding planners we met with and came highly recommended from a friend and after our first meeting, Rachel’s professionalism and warmth were evident. She clearly knew how to lead the consultation and we both left knowing that she was the one we wanted to work with! We chose the Diamond planning package and it was truly worth every penny.
Most queer couples might be weary of having a wedding planner that has never worked with queer couples before; however, we never questioned it for a moment with Rachel. It was so clear how comfortable and safe we felt with her that it didn’t sway our decision in any way. In fact, it was the best decision we made! Throughout the planning process, Rachel took extra steps to ensure that the process reflected the fact that we were two brides; being a queer couple, our wedding was already non-traditional which gave us the space to really make the day feel personalized and unique to the two of us as women. Rachel truly made the whole experience feel inclusive and considerate.
From there on, Rachel was alongside us every step of the way – she attended meetings thoroughly prepared and kept us on track, attended every site visit with us, coordinated contact with potential vendors and communicated clearly with each one, and thought of every little thing in between.
She truly thought of every detail, even the little things we wouldn’t have thought of ourselves. At times, she understood our vision more than we even did, giving suggestions or opinions that helped us make decisions, then communicate them clearly across her team and our vendors. The wedding planning journey definitely is a lot at times to keep track of, and we wouldn’t have been able to do it without Rachel’s keen attention to detail that ensured nothing was forgotten.
Wedding planning doesn’t always go as originally planned – things don’t pan out as they should or you want them to, or pivots have to happen along the way. Any time this came up, Rachel was there to walk us through it, reassuring us through every step; she made it clear that her support was available any time we needed her. If this meant a quick email that she answered as soon as she could (and usually within a few hours!), finding time in her schedule for an impromptu call or a quick text or call whenever we needed any type of support, she was there for us without any hesitation.
The day itself was the best day of our lives, and we know that Rachel was one of the biggest reasons for that. We watched her keep track of everything over the wedding planning process, but she really shined on the day of! We could really tell that Rachel was in her element. It is evident that Rachel is great at what she does, she has truly found her calling!
Having trust in someone like that, especially the person overseeing your wedding day, is worth more than we can even describe. We have no way of knowing if anything went wrong, as we never knew because she had a handle on it. Rachel’s calm demeanour and friendly face brought us ease throughout the day. Just having such trust in her meant knowing that she was taking care of anything and everything. She coordinated her team as well as the rest of the vendors seamlessly. Rachel and her team were also organized, communicative, and warm. You could tell they all work together very well.
They say wedding planning is one of the most stressful experiences of your life – while that may be true in general, it was also the most manageable amount of stress when you have a wedding planner like Rachel. It was the best investment we made in our planning process, and we would make it again in a heartbeat.
Even after our wedding day, we still talk about how Rachel was, by far, the best choice we made towards our wedding.
Thank you Rachel, we will always be thankful for meeting you and for having you as a part of our day. Our wedding day will forever be one of our favourite memories, and we have you to thank for that.

We brought Rachel on for month of coordination about six months before our wedding at Manning Park Resort. She went above and beyond during the planning process, with monthly meetings throughout all six months. She answered every question we had, recommended some great vendors, and helped us put together a perfect timeline. Especially as we were planning a wedding from the other side of the world, she made planning so much less stressful and ensured no detail was forgotten.
When it came to our wedding weekend, she was there for the rehearsal the night before, and she and her assistants made our wedding day so seamless and magical. All we had to do was show up, and everything was done for us. We were impressed by their management of all the big things like vendor coordination, decor set up, timekeeping, etc, but also all the little touches like ensuring the wedding party all had bug spray, and that we had plenty of water and food at every opportunity. Any issues that came up were dealt with without us knowing about them until after the fact. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, and that was thanks to Rachel and her team. We would highly recommend her services!

We cannot recommend Rachel highly enough! From the very beginning, she brought a level of organization and professionalism that kept us on track throughout the entire planning process. She made sure we met important deadlines, making sure we booked other vendors early enough (and providing great recommendations), as well as ensuring no detail was overlooked.
On the wedding day, she took over all coordination with vendors, allowing us, our families, and our friends to truly relax and enjoy the celebration. Any issues that came up were handled quickly and efficiently — and most importantly, without pulling us away from the moment when possible.
Beyond her incredible skills, she was also just a joy to work with. Kind, friendly, and genuinely invested in making our day special, she made the entire experience feel easy and enjoyable.
