My (now) husband and I hired Durham Micro Weddings for day-of coordination, and I cannot recommend Jennifer and her team highly enough!!! From our very first phone call (in a panic after my original co-ordinator bailed) she immediately put me at ease with her professionalism, warmth, and genuine passion for what she does. From there, she jumped right in and was incredibly helpful with finalizing the timeline, MC script, and so many last-minute details in the weeks leading up to the wedding.
On the day of, Jennifer was nothing short of amazing. She handled everything—from rounding up wandering family members and bridal party members, to coordinating with all my vendors, to decorating both the ceremony and reception spaces according to my very specific vision in a very short amount of time. She made sure we were fed, kept the tissues coming while I was sobbing through speeches, and somehow managed to keep the entire day running smoothly and on schedule despite a few chaotic moments.
I truly could not have made it through the day without her. Hiring Jennifer was one of the best investments I made during the entire wedding planning process. If you’re on the fence about hiring her—DO IT. You will not regret it! -

Jennifer is absolutely phenomenal; professional, creative, and so supportive! She listened to our vision, brought it to life, and made our wedding day unforgettable.
From the first planning meeting to execution on our big day, she ensured every detail was perfect. She genuinely cared about making our day special for us, and was on top of everything so that we could enjoy the day together and soak it in with our guests.
The vendors she works with are top notch, and blew us away with their services.
We can't recommend Jennifer enough! If you're looking for a planner who will make your wedding dreams come true, look no further. She exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you, Jennifer, for making our day so magical! -

Jennifer & her team are simply the best!!!
Hiring Jennifer and her Durham Micro Weddings team as a month-of wedding planner was seriously the best decision!!! Even months before the wedding (before she technically started), she provided us with a "Critical Path" document that helped to ensure we were hitting every key milestone to set us up for success on the big day! She brought a calming energy (not to mention, a great sense of humor which I hugely appreciated on what could be such a nerve wracking day!) that really helped make everything such an enjoyable process. I'm usually a bit of a control freak, but with Jennifer, I was able to let go and trust that she would get the job done.
From our ongoing weekly touchpoints, she was able to get into my head and fully understand what was important to me, which let me just relax and enjoy the event when it came. Also when it came to scheduling challenges I was facing (especially with the speeches in between the dinner courses), she was able to help piece everything together with ease and manage the 'run of show' for the evening.
Overall, her team went above and beyond what I was expecting (including sprinting to grab my phone when I realized my speech was on there or quickly getting me a band-aid when I got a blister from my heels), so for anyone looking for a full time or partial wedding planner, look no further & hire Durham Micro Weddings!! -

Jennifer made our ideal wedding possible. The details of the micro wedding demonstrated deep 'caring' for the details - the cake, the cookies, the drinks, the decor, the space, are not just "present" but also beyond your expectations. Our Guests remarked they were impressed what DMW had for us.
It was the full planning that blew us away. Jennifer not only expertly handed our challenges, removed all of the stress, kept us on track, and brought up all of the details we needed to make a decision on...but she was also there on the day of working so hard, with a smile on her face. Guests were impressed by the organization on the way into the event, but then they met Jennifer as she personally took care of them throughout the night. I think Jennifer almost made a couple of us cry because of how happy we were with how it ended up coming together. We love Jennifer, I don't know what we would have done without her. -
