Imagine, you are newly engaged couples. You think you got this. Its only a wedding how hard is it to plan? You source recommendations from your married friends. Hire some vendors and BAM, you are married. Well turns out it isn't that simple, you need to chase vendors for quotes, answer mundane details (uplights... what's an uplight.... I don't know how many I need) and you spend every night stressing, even arguing if this wedding is worth the stress. Until finally you give in and start looking at wedding planners.
Along comes Berlyn. Super punctual, Super organized, Super kind and supportive. The decision was easy, we hired her on the spot and went full on with Berlyn, with only two months to spare. We pulled off our dream wedding. All the attention to detail, Berlyn's supportive but firm attitude in moving things along was amazing. What we loved most about Berlyn was her supportive and realistic approach to your vision. You can literally tell her "Berlyn, we want llamas at our wedding!", and she will break down with you what that means, how potentially it could work, whether it was a good idea (turns out it wasn't) and support you wholeheartedly once you have made your decision.
Once again, thank you so much Berlyn, it was the best day and you played a key part in making it that way. -

Berlyn and her assistant really made our wedding day go by so smoothly. We were either early or on time for every part of the day and Berlyn kept our bridal party on track. Berlyn is extremely organized and detail oriented. So much so that our florist noticed her at our venue inspecting all of the glassware on the tables and complimented me on choosing a wedding coordinator who cares about her clients. I really enjoyed working with Berlyn and would absolutely recommend her. -

Allison Sent on 10/10/2016My husband and I were engaged for two years. With our busy schedules, we did not have time to plan our own wedding. We were very fortunate to have hired Berlyn as our wedding planner. Some may say that I am a control freak at times... However, she made it easy for me to trust her with planning and executing the most important day of our lives. She goes above and beyond!!! Not only is she professional and organized - above all, she has a great personality and is easy to work with. We had our wedding at Colette Café. My bridal party even commented and said that the day was very relaxing and they didn't even have to look at the schedule! Berlyn ensured that we knew exactly where to go at all times. I sincerely feel that we could not have had a more amazing wedding. Our wedding was exactly how we wanted it to feel - an upscale dinner party with our closest family and friends.
We've already referred several of our friends to Berlyn! Also - we are thinking of renewing our vows in 5 years and will definitely ask her to plan this event as well!! :) -

Jaymie Sent on 31/07/2016We originally were going to opt out of a wedding planner but were recommended BLoved Events. From the first meeting with Berlyn, we knew that we wanted to go with her. She was professional, detail oriented, approachable and organized. We hired Berlyn for her month of services. From day one she began taking notes during our meeting and she remembered the littlest details. She always picked up her phone and responded right away when she was contacted. She was there to offer her ear when we were stressed out. She was apt to deal with any issues we had with the vendors and acted as the mediator to take the stress off of us. Many of our guests commented, saying that our wedding ran very smoothly and that the sequence of events were well planned throughout the reception, all thanks to Berlyn and her organized schedule. She is EXTREMELY EFFICIENT. She kept us on the ball and brought to our attention certain things we may have overlooked (i.e. floral delivery locations). We are extremely satisfied with her services and had we not already booked most of our vendors, we would have hired her for full wedding planning services. We would highly recommend her to other couples. She is an outstanding A++++++++ wedding planner! -

Christine C. Sent on 06/07/2016This vendor is highly recommended. My spouse and I were planning a wedding in Canada while working in Washington, DC. We needed someone to help us coordinate the details and have eyes on decisions we were not on the ground to make. Berlyn Lai of BLoved Events was a god-send and we partly attribute the success of our event to her. She provided hair, make up, florist and DJ recommendations, managed the flowers entirely, oversaw the sourcing and set up of decorations, generated the final run-down, coordinated with other service providers and the wedding MC's, and was on the ground the day prior and day of to ensure a perfect event. When you hire Berlyn and BLoved events, you employ the most important thing a couple needs during wedding planning - peace of mind. She was quick to respond to emails and skype call requests, patient with tough-to-make decisions, honest in her advice and extremely pleasant to work with. I also admire Berlyn as a person. She is beautiful inside and out, a mother, wife and professional. She understands that life can pull you in multiple directions but yet she made the time to ensure our lives were that much easier before our big day. [Anonymous] Sent on 26/06/2016We were so lucky to have Berlyn's help planning our wedding - we could not have done it without her! She helped us quickly identify the best vendors for our day based on our budget and style - we loved everyone she helped us select from the florist, to the DJ to some creative special touches she suggested. She has an amazing network in the GTA and removes the stress of finding the right people. She was also a great source of ideas to help us personalize the day and had a number of suggestions that we never would have thought of - even after hours on Pinterest!. She kept us organized along the way and checked in with us often to make sure everything was on track. The month before the wedding and day of she was invaluable....it really let us enjoy the day knowing that she was taking care of everything. I'm sure things went wrong but we never knew it....she just takes care of everything and makes sure you and your guests have a great day!
