We truly cannot imagine our wedding without Alusha. Missy and I are in our forties, and are big planners who don’t easily let go of control. Imagine our surprise when Alusha gave us complete confidence from the start, enabling us to let go of the reins a bit and just enjoy. She was incredibly organized, calm, and on top of every detail, which meant we were never once stressed on our wedding day—we always knew everything was being handled.
She’s a joy to work with: chill, confident, fun, and deeply experienced, with strong connections in the Toronto wedding scene. Our wedding was at Steam Whistle Brewery, where she’s a preferred coordinator, and her familiarity with the venue made everything run seamlessly.
As a lesbian couple planning a same-sex wedding, we felt completely comfortable and supported by Alusha from start to finish. We can’t recommend her highly enough—any package you choose with her is absolutely worth it. -

Let me start by saying that wedding planning brought out a level of stress and anxiety I wasn’t fully prepared for. As someone who tends to overthink and put pressure on myself to get everything just right, I often felt overwhelmed and unsure of how it would all come together. But having Alusha by our side was truly a lifeline. Her presence, her reassurance, and her steady guidance didn’t erase the stress entirely, but they kept me grounded through it. I honestly don’t know how I would have made it through without her.
We were pivoting from our original vision — at a different venue, with different plans — and it felt like we were starting from scratch. That’s when Alusha stepped in with the kind of steady, reassuring presence I didn’t even realize I needed. She wasn’t just our planner — she was a constant, grounding force who helped carry the emotional weight right alongside me.
She has this calm confidence about her that’s hard to describe — the kind that quiets your internal chaos just by being in the room. While I was fixated on every little decision and potential problem, she’d gently walk me through what actually needed my attention, what could wait, and what would sort itself out. Her experience showed in the way she approached everything with ease, and her support was unwavering — even when I just needed someone to listen to me spiral a little.
She encouraged us to make decisions that reflected our priorities and values, and reminded us that the day was about us — no one else. That advice stuck with me every step of the way.
And when it came to the logistics? She absolutely delivered. Every vendor she recommended — from our DJ, to our officiant, to the décor team — was incredible. We’re still hearing compliments about them, and they were all part of Alusha’s trusted network.
On the day itself, we were able to fully be in the moment, knowing she had everything under control. There were even thoughtful, beautiful touches that I didn’t find out about until after the fact — all Alusha. She made our day feel seamless, magical, and so genuinely us.
If you’re looking for someone who will not only help you plan a beautiful wedding, but also make the process feel more manageable, more meaningful, and more grounded — Alusha is that person. We are endlessly grateful for her and truly can’t imagine our wedding journey without her. -

We hired Alusha as our month-of wedding coordinator and Julia as our day-of coordinator, and we cannot recommend them enough! From the very beginning, they were informative, responsive, and incredibly organized. They took the time to understand our vision and ensured every detail was executed. On the day of our wedding, they managed everything seamlessly, allowing us to fully enjoy our day without any stress. Flawless planning execution for our big day!
The professionalism and grace with which Alusha from A Lush Affair showcased was amazing. Our expectations for our big day were surpassed in every conceivable way. Alusha’s commitment to making our wedding a memorable one was always top of mind. From our first meeting, she allowed us to share what we had envisioned for the wedding, she listened attentively to our ideas, she provided great feedback and made suggestions that ended up marking our day that much more special.
Additionally, Alusha was always quick to respond to all our inquiries regardless of the time or day, I was so impressed!!! She also coordinated with our vendors to manage timelines and logistics with the lead up to the wedding which allowed my partner and I to enjoy the process that much more without worrying about any last-minutes issues. Our set up at the venue on the day of was super beautiful and we were able to truly enjoy every aspect of our wedding knowing that Alusha had everything taken care of.

We partnered with Alusha from A Lush Affair for the month leading up to our wedding and the day of. She did an amazing job with the itinerary and making sure everything was perfect for our big day. All of her hard work allowed us to really soak in our wedding day and not stress about the details, because she thought of everything! I can't say enough about how great our experience was.
