I cannot say enough amazing things about Whitney Heard! From the moment she arrived on our wedding day, her calm and kind presence instantly put everyone at ease. She has this effortless ability to make people feel comfortable and confident, even my husband, who wasn’t exactly thrilled about taking photos, ended up having the best time and couldn’t stop saying how great she was!
Whitney went above and beyond in every possible way. She captured every photo we wanted, and so many more, while still giving us time to breathe, be present, and truly enjoy the day. It never once felt rushed or staged; she has such a natural way of guiding the flow and capturing genuine moments as they unfold.
We received our full album shortly after the wedding and were blown away. Absolutely jaw-dropping. They perfectly capture the emotion, the joy, and the beauty of the day. We feel so lucky to have had Whitney as our photographer; she truly exceeded every expectation! -

Whitney Heard Photography was hands down the best decision I made when planning my wedding. As someone who works in the wedding industry and has collaborated with many photographers across Toronto, Oakville, and Burlington, I can confidently say she is the best wedding photographer to hire in the GTA.
Whitney photographed my own wedding at Spencer’s at the Waterfront in Burlington, and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish. She is incredibly reliable, organized, and calm, which made such a difference on the wedding day. Everything stayed on schedule, and I felt completely at ease knowing she had everything handled.
Her photography style is exactly what so many modern brides are looking for. It blends fine art wedding photography with a soft, editorial, natural light approach while still capturing candid, emotional moments. Nothing felt forced or overly posed, and the final images feel timeless.
One moment that really stood out was her creativity during the day. There were officers riding their bikes nearby, and she used that moment in such a unique and artistic way. Those photos ended up being some of my favourites and feel so different from the typical images you see at Spencer’s in Burlington.
As a hairstylist working with many Oakville and Toronto brides, I’ve seen firsthand how Whitney works alongside other vendors. She is kind, professional, and makes everyone feel comfortable, which shows in her photos.
If you are a bride looking for a wedding photographer in Toronto, Oakville, Burlington, or anywhere in the surrounding area, I truly cannot recommend Whitney Heard Photography enough. She is talented, consistent, and delivers an experience that goes far beyond just beautiful photos. -

Where do I even start with Whitney! Sunshine in human form with such an incredible talent with photography. She was absolutely wonderful to work with for our wedding from start to finish. She has such a beautiful way of capturing precious moments. Her communication was fantastic, she was wonderful to work with leading up to the wedding, during the day itself, and even after. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and brought such a calm, positive energy to the day. She captured all the big moments beautifully while also catching the small, candid details we didn’t even realize were happening. I knew we would love her photos, but we didn’t realize just how much. They felt natural, emotional, and truly reflect us as a couple. We are beyond happy with how everything turned out and couldn’t recommend Whitney enough. We feel so grateful to have had the opportunity to have Whitney capture such a special day for us. -

You will absolutely LOVE Whitney and her team!
Whitney and her team were so so incredible, patient, kind and knowledgeable. My husband and I were so blown away with the quality of our wedding photos, we were so happy to have chosen Whitney!!! On top of everything you would want in a photographer, she is extremely generous and can tell how much she just loves what she does. 12/10 would recommend. -

I grew up with Whitney in our small home town and couldn’t believe the amazing business that she was growing for herself. Over the years I had followed Whitney on Instagram and was blown away by the amazing pictures and the number of weddings she was shooting; I could have only dreamt to have a photographer like her at my wedding, and the dream came true. Aside from feeling overwhelmingly comfortable with Whitney, since we grew up together, she also was the most kind and comforting person when taking very intimate photos and capturing the essence of your relationship. Whitney’s amazing personality really made for ease and comfort when shooting our engagement and day of photos. Whitney and her team were very accommodating for pictures with family and friends and making sure everyone was captured, at least once. Everyone who attended our wedding had nothing but amazing things to say about how wonderful Whitney was and how organized and professional her and her team were. Andy and I were blown away by our numerous pictures, and we honestly cannot thank Whitney and her team enough for capturing every little piece of our special day. -

Having Whitney and Rebecca was the best decision we made for our wedding. Both are absolute gems, phenomenal and are super talented and organized (I thought they were our wedding planners on the day of!), kind and professional, (our family kept giving compliments and raved about them afterwards), and put you honestly at such ease and comfort with their passion and presence that true, unbridled moments come out. You can tell both have a deep desire for not only capturing special moments on camera, but also truly celebrating with you on your special day. Their service and the attention to detail they bring (they even had a box for my wife to put her ring!), ribbons, and even fixing and putting on my boutiniere are the extra, special touches that only Whitney and Rebecca can bring to your special day that puts them classes above.
Given my wife is in the design and creative industry, we're thrilled at how our preview shots came out, and cannot wait to see the final photos! If you're ever looking for a photographer to hire for any occasion, we wholeheartedly give 11/10 to both Whitney and Rebecca for their incredible talent, professionalism, and bonus for them being such sweet people! -

I've had the pleasure of knowing Whitney for many years before she agreed to shoot my wedding. She is always professional, courteous and kind. She is beyond talented behind the camera and her photos are truly stunning. I would recommend her to anyone!
