I’m not sure I’ll have enough room to explain how AMAZING Wes is. We booked him over a year out from our wedding date and fell in love with his upbeat, relaxed and hilarious personality immediately. Our engagement photos were SO much fun to take; Wes arrived early to our location (that he so kindly volunteered to drive to) and had all the best spots scoped out before we arrived. He is an EXPERT when it comes to finding the best lighting and suggesting the best poses.
On our wedding day, Wes stayed with the girls while our second shooter went with the boys and having Wes at our Airbnb put us all at ease. He even fixed my groom’s suit button immediately before the ceremony started-what a gem! He has a knack for finding the best photo spots and for taking the best candid (and posed) shots. We asked him to get a group shot of all of our guests with us following the ceremony and our guests LOVED his sense of humour and ability to take the photos so quickly. My (now) husband and I were like, “duh, he’s the best.”
Wes will make you feel SO comfortable, respond to your emails so quickly, and help you finalize your wedding day timeline so that you’re not flustered. Our guests commented on how quickly Wes would put down a bite of food during dinner if he heard laughter or applause just to make sure he didn’t miss a great shot!
Booking Wes as our photographer was hands-down the best decision we made for our day. I couldn’t have imagined hiring anyone else as our photographer. We got along with him so well and the sneak peaks we got back (less than 2 days after our wedding) are absolutely stunning.
Wes had suggested the coolest locations to take photos at and our wedding party had the greatest time knowing that the poses would be fun and “true to us.”
Thank you, Wes, for helping us capture so many amazing memories from the best day of our lives and for being the best photographer imaginable. We think of you as a friend and are so lucky to have had your expertise, laughter, and professionalism on our big day.

Wes is an incredible photographer. We had seen his work through family members who have gotten married in the past and it was a no brainer that we hired him to do our photos as well. He knows how to bring energy to the event to make even the people who hate their photos being taken have fun and smile. I had guests come up to me asking how to connect with him for their photos in the future. -

Wes is one of a kind! He is very organized, communication was always open and always had great energy! We did an engagement session prior to our wedding and was a great way to meet him and become comfortable! All of our guests had nothing but positive comments about him and enjoyed his presence! He can adjust and work with what you have to get the perfect shots! I can’t wait to see the complete gallery for our wedding photos! -

We hired Wes as our engagement and wedding photographer. For someone who is awkward and shy he really made me feel like a natural in front of the camera. He is a great hype man! Our guests loved him as well. He takes the most beautiful shots and knows the London area really well. -

Wes was an amazing choice for our special day. He has a fantastic personality that kept us laughing, and made everyone feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Our bridal party commented often on how much they liked working with him and how much he supported everyone throughout the day and helped the small details come together. He went above and beyond the role of photographer, and we were so grateful! He has a fantastic eye for those special shots, and got us so many beautiful photos that we’ll cherish for years to come. We also appreciated how communicative Wes was from the moment we inquired, leading up to the big day and the photos to follow.

Wes went above and beyond to ensure our engagement photos and wedding photos were amazing - despite the obstacles presented through the pandemic. He was incredibly flexible, accommodating, professional and exceeded all our expectations from a photographer. Wes additionally welcomed all the changes that occurred through the past year that impacted our engagement and wedding photos. I cannot recommend Wes enough, and have had many friends and family comment on how great Wes from our wedding as he was a single shooter and was incredibly efficient, had amazing energy and is willing to do whatever it takes for amazing photos! -

I don't even know where to begin with Wes! He was next level amazing! Right from the beginning he was responsive, friendly and extremely helpful. From the beginning we were looking for someone to do our Ontario wedding, but also recommend a photographer in Alberta to do our engagement shoot. Wes one upped our ask and agreed to be our wedding photographer and travel out to Alberta to do our engagement shoot. After meeting Wes in person we were instantly drawn to his personality. He made the whole experience so enjoyable. My husband even enjoyed 2 days of shooting, and that says a lot for someone who doesn't like getting their photo taken! Then COVID hit and Wes again was next level amazing! He worked with us through 3 different date changes. Everyone raved about him on our day and how amazing he was and on top of that our photos turned out so amazing!! I can't stop looking at them! With Wes not only are you getting a professional who cares so deeply about his work you're also getting a friend and someone who is so contagious to be around. We couldn't be more thankful to have had him as our photographer! His photo's are soft and beautiful, what talent! I could go on and on about his work! So thankful to have found him! -

I truly don't have enough good things to say about Wes! Due to the pandemic, we couldn't get home to have our wedding. We decided less than a month before our wedding date that we still wanted to tie the knot, and decided to throw something together last-minute here in Ontario. I reached out to Wes and he was so helpful throughout the whole process. He was extremely responsive, and helped us create a timeline for our day and gave us all sorts of awesome advice! We were already blown away before we even met him, but he exceeded our expectations more than we could have possibly imagined on our actual wedding day!
Wes was so flexible and his attention to detail was extraordinary. He captured so many 'little moments' that I would have never thought to request. This guys also does NOT waste any time! We booked him for four hours and by the amount of pictures we got in our gallery, you would think we spent the whole weekend with him! Our family was also so impressed with Wes. He had us in stitches the entire time. All those laughing pictures on the walls are genuine!
If you are considering booking Wes for your wedding (or any event for that matter!), seriously do it! He is efficient, his prices are super fair, and he captures the most amazing and magical photos and makes you look WAY better than you think you ever could! Thank you, thank you, thank you Wes! -

I cannot say enough good things about Wesley Forbes. I am so incredibly happy that we chose him to do our photos for our engagement and wedding. As a testament to this we have already booked him again for a family session and are extremely excited about it. His energy is amazing, he makes even the most shy people come out of their shell for incredible photos. My parents raved about how comfortable they felt around him and his team. He is extremely efficient, we had both our engagement gallery and wedding gallery posted in a few weeks. He is extremely responsive and has great ideas for cute (insta worthy) photos. He also had great ideas for locations for our engagement shoot!
It felt that he really got to know us and understood us as a couple and knew exactly what we were looking for in terms of photos, vibe during the photo shoot and captured our day perfectly.
You will not be disappointed if you choose Wesley Forbes!
