Very disappointing experience with our wedding photographer
Unfortunately, our experience with our wedding photographer was the biggest disappointment of our entire wedding day. Everything else was absolutely perfect, but working with her caused us unnecessary stress and left us very disappointed with our wedding photos.
From the beginning, I felt that she did not understand the photography style I wanted. I had a very clear idea of the type of photos I liked, but I often felt that she was not listening to my requests or taking the time to understand what I was looking for.
Some of the photos that were especially important to me were taken very quickly, almost as if they were being rushed through. Even simple photos were not presented or composed in a way that made them feel special. Unfortunately, there are many photos in our final gallery that I simply do not like.
I was also very disappointed with some of the editing. There are details visible in several photos that should have been easily corrected with proper retouching. For the amount we paid for professional wedding photography, I expected much more attention to detail.
What bothered me even more was her attitude throughout the day. Instead of helping me feel calm and supported, I often felt more stressed because of the way things were handled. On several occasions, she spoke negatively about my groomsmen and my videographer, which I found extremely disrespectful and inappropriate, especially on someone’s wedding day.
At one point, she even told my bridesmaids to make me drink because she thought I was too tense. My bridesmaids explained to her that I was tense because I was not getting the photos I wanted and felt that my requests were not being understood. I would have much rather had her listen to that feedback and try to adjust rather than make comments like that.
Unfortunately, there was also a very stressful situation regarding payment. After we gave her the money, we realized about 10 minutes later that there may have been an issue with the amount. I acknowledge that it was our mistake not to count the money in front of her. We therefore gave her approximately another $1,000 because we wanted to resolve the situation.
A few days after the wedding, I contacted her because I wanted to understand what had happened. She continued to maintain that the money was missing. Then, about two weeks later, she contacted us to say that she had found $900. She did return the money and also gave us a printed photo as compensation, which I acknowledge and appreciate. However, having to deal with this situation and the stress surrounding it immediately after our wedding was extremely unpleasant and completely unnecessary.
The most disappointing part is that wedding photography is something you can never redo. I trusted a professional to capture one of the most important days of our lives, and unfortunately, I came away feeling misunderstood, stressed, and disappointed with many of the photos.
I understand that every photographer has a different style and that she may be a great fit for other couples. However, based on our personal experience, I would not recommend her to couples who have a specific photography style in mind and want a photographer who will take the time to listen, understand their vision, and make them feel comfortable on their wedding day.

Nous travaillons en équipe, photographe et vidéographe, dans le respect mutuel et celui de tous les invités. Nous n'avons jamais tenu de propos désobligeants envers les garçons d'honneur, les demoiselles d'honneur ou notre vidéographe, et ce dernier peut en témoigner. Cette affirmation est fausse.
Concernant les photos, nous vous avons proposé à plusieurs reprises de prendre davantage de temps pour les portraits. Ces propositions n'ont pas pu se concrétiser, car vous étiez occupée à gérer l'organisation de la journée, ce qui a limité le temps disponible pour la photographie.
Quant à la question du montant remis, vous reconnaissez vous-même que l'argent n'a pas été compté sur place. Dès que nous avons retrouvé la somme de 900 $, nous vous l'avons remboursée intégralement et avons offert une impression en geste de bonne foi.

We had such a wonderful experience with Tiara Studio. Their team did an amazing job, and we absolutely love our wedding photos. The videos they created are beautiful and perfectly captured the emotions and special moments of our wedding day.
The entire team was professional, responsible, and very flexible. I shared many ideas with them, and they made every effort to bring each one to life. They even stayed later than the time we had agreed on to make sure everything was captured.
