I want to start the review by saying I (the groom) am not much of a picture guy but both Mike and Mark were incredibly attentive and made the experience completely painless. We got our sneak peak album almost immediately after the wedding which followed by our final album only 2 weeks after the wedding.
We strongly recommend this company to anyone who has a special event that they want to have captured forever.
We booked this company for both our engagement shoot and the wedding day and we have no regret. The guidance and vision the team provided and our appreciation for both the photographers we worked with will never be forgotten.
100% recommend this company if you want to have no regret about capturing any big event.

We are so grateful for The Light Box. From start to finish, they surpassed every expectation we had! We did both our engagement and wedding photos with them. They were so kind, patient, helpful, and receptive to our ideas. For our engagement shoot, we wanted a mix of Hong Kong-inspired aesthetics and a cozy record store shoot, and they executed it with such precision. You can tell they have a huge heart for what they do. They even went over our scheduled time during the engagement session just to ensure our vision was fully realized. Working with them was so easy. Mark and Mike didn’t just feel like our wedding photographers; they felt like our close friends. They helped us find our videographer and also worked so well with our other vendors on the day of the wedding, making for a smooth experience. As people who typically shy away from the spotlight and feel awkward in front of the camera, they made the entire process feel so natural. We’ve never felt more comfortable and confident having our photos taken. They knew how to direct us and keep the energy high during what can be such a long day. They made us feel so special, and we had so much fun working with them. Mark and Mike are such talented professionals, and the work speaks for itself. Our wedding was in August 2025, but even several months later, as we look back at our photos, we are instantly transported to those moments. The turnaround time for the photos (both engagement and wedding) was also very fast! We were pleasantly surprised to have access to a gallery of our photos within days (included in the package we chose - The Platinum Package). Also included in our package was a personalized box with a USB key containing our photos and a curated selection of 4x6 prints. It is such a lovely keepsake to have for such a significant day. We are still not over how incredible the photos turned out. Thank you Kuya Mark and Mike, for going above and beyond and for being such a vital part of our day. We have so much love for them and highly recommend them to anyone looking for wedding photographers. You will not regret it!! -

We cannot hype up The Light Box enough. Mark and Mike did a fantastic job with our engagement and wedding photos. They showed up with the perfect balance of professionalism, humour and ease that somehow managed to make a non-photogenic couple look like we walked out of a cinematic editorial photo magazine.
With their camera, they seamlessly blended into our wedding, capturing all the precious moments. Our families loved them, our wedding party adored them. They caught every moment—big, small, emotional, and downright chaotic—without ever making us feel staged or stiff.
The photos are stunning—and every time we look back through them, we’re hit with all the happy emotions all over again. We honestly can’t believe how many beautiful candid moments they captured… moments we didn’t even realize were happening in real time.

We cannot say enough good things about Mark and Mike. Both my fiance (now wife) and I are not super comfortable in front of a camera, but they were able to put us at ease with their easy-going nature and their professionalism. Reliving the Best Day Thanks to TheLightbox Photography
Working with TheLightbox Photography aka Kuya Mark and Mike, was one of the best parts of our entire wedding experience!! From the very beginning, they felt like family. They made us feel so comfortable during our engagement session and again on our wedding day, and that made all the difference.
We had a vision, and they went above and beyond to bring it to life. The photos captured the realest of real smiles, and looking through them felt like reliving the whole day all over again. Their turnaround time was so quick, and the moments they captured were so genuine, it brought everything rushing back in the best way - the laughs, the cries and love.
From the start, communication was seamless. They explained our options clearly, no pressure at all, and made the whole process feel easy. They were kind, professional, and so easy to talk to. On a day that could’ve felt chaotic, they were the calm we didn’t know we needed.

Mike & Mark from the beginning have been an absolute delight to work with. They were friendly, flexible and easy to work with. I hired The Light Box for my wedding in May 2025, as well as an engagement shoot. I appreciated having a first meeting, getting to know them and their styles and what I was looking for from them. Mike and Mark did an outstanding job on both events for us. They caught the real moments and emotions, including nerves, funny faces and all the smiles throughout the day. They were always in contact with me which I appreciated greatly, and were quick to respond. Mike and Mark took their time to investigate the venues and took my requests with ease. They also had a great way of feeling both present but also blending into the background during our wedding. We received access to our preview photos only a week after the wedding, it was so incredibly fast I shared them with all my friends and family. After about a month we received a beautiful memento box with physical prints and a usb with all fully edited photos. I cannot thank Mike and Mark enough for all their hard work, how easy it was to work with both of them and how they captured all the emotions of everyone during our wedding day. We highly recommend hiring The Light Box for any professional shoots you need!

I got married in May and I didn't hire a wedding planner, so I had to choose my vendors based on what other people recommended. Every married couple I knew told me to go with The Light Box.
I'm so glad I listened.
My husband and I had no idea how to pose or what kind of wedding photos we wanted. We even ended up taking pictures in a random park — and somehow, The Light Box made them look stunning.
Mark and Mike was so friendly and easy to work with. They made us feel comfortable the whole time and gave us just enough direction so we didn’t feel awkward. They also let us be ourselves, and the photos really show that. When we look at our pictures now, we’re not just seeing how things looked, we remember how we felt.

We had our wedding on April 27th, 2025 and we couldn't have asked for a better duo to work and capture the best day of our lives. The communication with Mark and Mike was seamless from the initial planning phases, us deciding which package suited our preference, to the wedding day.
After one meeting with them we knew that we picked the right photographers to capture our big day. On the day of the wedding they made it stress free for the both of us to just focus on each other rather than be caught in chaos and unexpected changes within our schedule. They worked amazing with our other vendors, coordinating with everyone so that there was no mishaps or conflicts. We were also happy to see how well they worked with our entourage and relatives. They guided everyone perfectly to create moments that we will remember forever.
The both of us aren't normally photogenic, but they made us feel comfortable and calm in every shot they took. We appreciate and thank the two of them for the amazing job they did. For anyone that is looking for reliable and A+++ grade photographers, you will never go wrong with Mark and Mike. The Light Box is the way to go. We will definitely be working with them in the future to capture more of our special moments.
