Memories to Last a Lifetime

Chosing the right photographer can be stressful - you want to ensure every piece of your wedding day is documented in the most perfect way. My husband and I definitely received this from Christina at Take 1. Beginning with our engagement shoot last fall she made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera and we loved the photos we received from that day. On our wedding day she was there to capture all the big moments. She has an incredible eye for detail and now we will have memories to last us a lifetime.

Amazing Photography Services

Christina is a wonderful photographer and even kinder person. She was very professional and detailed in the preparation and planning of doing our wedding photos. My husband and I were planning our wedding in Toronto from across the country and she made sure to meet with us on Skype before we chose her to be our photographer. She thought of so many details and unique shots and poses. She made my vision of our wedding photos come to life. On the day of the wedding she was so helpful and helped keep me calm amid the chaos of the day. I can’t say enough good things about her and would recommend her for anyone searching for a photographer, especially for weddings! ☺️

Just Book Her - She's Amazing

Just book her, you won’t be disappointed one bit! From start to finish she was such a pleasure to work with, especially since my hubby and I hate photos to begin with. She made it quick and easy, and we have the most beautiful pictures! Her creative eye is outstanding. I was so happy to find a photographer that offered the perfect package and the perfect price. Take 1 Photography was the best decision we made for our wedding.

★★★★★ Take 1 photography exceeded our expectations at every turn. At our initial meeting, we were struck by Christina’s kindness and warmth, offering a long list of potential sites for photoshoots upfront, and the quality of her work (which speaks for itself). She made us feel comfortable and confident during our complimentary engagement shoot and the digital files we received from that shoot were unbelievable. They were both larger-than-life, with colours that popped, and subtle, natural and romantic. We still look back in disbelief that she made us look that good. She even sent us a surprise gift in the mail after the shoot! We met before the wedding to go over what we wanted. The email questionnaire we were given made organizing the day very simple. On the day, Christina took amazing elegant shots of the bride and bridesmaids, while Nick (our second shooter) took pictures of the men. Both were personable and shared in our excitement that day. They seemed to know exactly what type of shot the moment called for. We are blown away with the service and products we have received from Take 1 Photography. They exceeded our expectations and allowed us to stay within budget. We highly recommend Take 1 Photography to any couple looking for a sure thing with respect to capturing their special day.

Christina is an excellent photographer and my husband and i were absolutely delighted with the photos!!! She was very professional and also captured the feeling as well as the events of our wedding day (if that makes sense!).

I chose Christina based off of her raving reviews from this site and off of Facebook. I did my own research prior to purchasing her service, by going through her photography page on Facebook/site, and the photos were amazing! Well unfortunately her service on the day of my bridal shower fell short and didn't translate like the photos that she had been posting on her sites. I am soooo upset and disappointed (which doesn't even begin to explain how I'm feeling) with this poor service that she provided. I have at least 120 photos of the decor along! , 68 guests (not including myself, the bride!!), 37 photos of side view photos of my face (not looking at the camera, or just in the very corner of a photo and ONLY ONE single shot of myself. I am now only left with the memories of the great time my guests had at MY shower and not left with memories of a great time that I had WITH my guests. After emailing back and forth with Christina about my disappointment because this is NOT the service I paid for, she refunded my money (thankfully!).

I would not recommend her services to anyone I know after the disappointment and heartbreak that I went through. I would not wish this experience upon any bride on their special day!

I got married in April of 2017 and Christina was my photographer. She was easy to get a hold of and met us close to our home. Christina is organized and was willing to show us lots of her past work. Her rates are reasonable. We felt comfortable with her being our photographer. Close to the wedding she asked that I make a list of people who are important to us for group photos. It was tedious work to compile that list because she wanted every person in every shot written down. Christina followed that list to the letter. After receiving our photos, we noticed that some of our guests didn't stand close enough to one another. She could have given more direction to everyone.

I had requested that she take a photo of all of the guests in one large group shot.She knew in advance that there would be over 30 people in the shot. It was something I really wanted. Our guests had to arrange themselves with little direction from her. There is a person blinking in every photo and there were only 5-6 of this shot.

Christina tried to take candid shots of our guests and a lot of them were frowning. I'm not sure if it was bad timing but most of those shots aren't 'keepers'.

We are very happy with the couples portraits. There are a lot of different backdrops. We would have been willing to take more photos in different poses.

Christina was very prompt in delivering photos to us and giving a few extra things that we didn't know we would receive.

Christina is a miracle worker, I swear! My fiancé is not a fan of having his picture taken so I was weary of how our engagement photos would turn out. My expectations were blown out of the water. Now, thanks to Christina we will have beautiful photos to cherish forever.

Christina is a life saver ! After all the fustration I was going threw with my wedding Christina always took her time with James and I and was always able to accommodate our busy lifestyle. The photos turned out amazing for both our engagement and wedding. Christina defiantly makes u feel comfortable and takes her time. I am So thankful for everything she has done and would 100% recommend her!!!

From our initial meeting Christina was a very approachable person. Her creativity and ability to capture our special day has left us speechless. We both do not like our photos being taken yet she made us feel so comfortable and natural that we loved it. She captured our dream and photo list to a tee. She was on time and very polite and professional with our guests. Thank you so much Christina. If you are looking for a great photographer please hire her. Her prices are amazing and worth every penny.
