I reached out to Sugar and Soul because their editing style looked dark and moody, just like I wanted.
Dwayne was hilarious and fun to work with. He had a short window of time to work with as we hired only for a portion of the day but he captured so many great moments and the photos turned out gorgeously.

The photos taken were absolutely gorgeous, and she got the full array of wedding photos back to us in less than 2 weeks! She also gave us an absolutely beautiful set of engagement photos, and she was so lovely to work with. I would definitely recommend Melissa's services to anyone.

Sugar and Soul's photos are absolutely stunning and are definitely worth every single penny spent on a professional photographer. Melissa is experienced, knowledgeable, quick to respond, is willing to get her hands dirty and definitely knows her stuff! She's a likeable, calm, easy going person who just goes with the flow which was exactly what I needed in the chaos of my wedding day. We even did photos outdoors for about 3 hours on a cold February day, where Melissa stomped through puddles, slush and snow banks, getting her shoes completely filled with snow, to get the photos we wanted. She'll do anything to get a good photo and was even able to work out a package that worked for our budget. Given that you have 1 day and 1 chance to get the photos you'll share for a lifetime, Melissa is the photographer you need to ensure you get photos you'll love! I can't recommend Melissa enough. She's amazing!

Melissa and Cristal were amazing to work with. They were so friendly and Cristal made us feel so comfortable. Her and Mandy even stayed a bit late to make sure we had pictures of everything that we wanted and the photos turned out beautifullly.

Melissa is an amazingly talented photographer! I started following Sugar & Soul on social media after Melissa shot my friend's wedding and immediately fell in love with her photos. I knew when I got engaged I HAD to have her as my wedding photographer!! She was so easy and fun to work with and made us all feel comfortable in front of the camera! Absolutely amazing to deal with, the photos she took all turned out amazing, it will make picking our favorites from the 1200+ photos she gave us very difficult each photo is better than the last. She posted a teaser photo with in days of the wedding and allowed full access to all the photos very quickly! I would recommend them to everyone!

Melissa's photos are gorgeous what you see on her blog and website is really what you can expect. She is very easy to work with, and she made it easy and accommodating for us especially knowing we were out of province. She edits her photos extremely fast, we were pleasantly surprised how efficiently she posted our photos especially since Christmas was just days after our wedding. There is nothing negative I can say about Melissa. We love her to bits. Don't be surprised if we hire you again for a day after shoot and baby photos!

As soon as we saw Melissa's photography we knew we had to have her at our wedding ! After meeting with her seeing how relaxed and sweet she was we knew she was the one haha ;) She is truly an amazing photographer and we feel so lucky to have had her at our wedding in Mexico.
