Engagement Photo Session
My fiance and I had the wonderful pleasure of having Sam capture our engagement shoot! Born and raised in Toronto and now in the west coast, I really wanted photos that would show my home town (CN Tower & the skyline of course). She knew from the start exactly what my vision was and executed and captured it to the tee. She is so unbelievably talented and very well knows how to really work a camera! I could not believe how our shoot turned out! We were absolutely blown away by the photos - especially given how windy of a day it was, I was so worried about how I would look. Seeing the end result, you wouldn't even know how cold I was that day. She was able to capture every angle and use the wind to our advantage (yes - kinda looked like models lol). She also knows how to make anyone feel super comfortable in front of a camera - I for one know I can be very awkward. We are really excited to share these with our family and friends - although she provided us with so many pictures we can't even narrow down which ones we love best! I only wish I lived in Toronto still so she could capture all our milestones. Thank you so much Sam for being apart of this for us, you made it so very special. Keep doing what you're doing cause it definitely is your calling!

I had the pleasure of working with her for my bridal mehndi photoshoot and she was amazing. She came on time, ready with her equipment and photographed all the decor, the guests, the food, and all the small details of the special day. She captured many magical moments amongst family and friends and the photos turned out STUNNING! Sam was very prompt with her turnaround time, and clear with what she would deliver. A moment in time that will last forever
Sam was an absolute dream to work with!
She teamed up with our videographers, our friends Sajini and Justin from Restless Media to capture our wedding day.
She was so kind, friendly and very professional making sure my vision for a gothic moody wedding theme would come to life, while still making sure our family and love ones would still love the photos and share to their social media.It was a perfect blend.
I am use to working behind the camera and my husband is very camera shy as well as our family. Sam’s was so welcoming with her contagious personality and made sure everyone was very comfortable and confident.
She went above and beyond to capture beautiful candid moments - such as our 1 year old flower girls exchanging laughs and bracelets while I was taking my solo shots.
She also captured moments of family members and friends being so excited and happy for the wedding.
I can truly say her photos told a story, our love story. With every kiss, smile, laugh, hug, and embrace.
We highly recommend her as a photographer, and cannot thank her enough for capturing a moment in time that will last forever.

We had an amazing experience with Sam at Set Sail Bride. As a COVID bride, having a small intimate wedding was never our plan. But, life happens and thankfully we had Sam because she captured our wedding so beautifully that you’d never know.
Besides Sam being extremely talented and professional, she brought so much positivity to such a hectic/stressful day. As someone who is very uncomfortable around cameras, having her energy around made this whole process natural and enjoyable.

Hiring Set Sail Bridal was the best wedding decision!
I'm not sure where to begin with Set Sail Bridal.. but we received our wedding photos earlier this week, and I was in tears, multiple times. Sam and her team did such a phenomenal job of capturing our day exactly as it happened, and while I couldn't be in 10 places at once, somehow Sam was. Wedding days are so jam packed, but the Set Sail team captured every aspect and detail, going above and beyond anything we imagined. I couldn't be happier with our choice of hiring Set Sail to capture our wedding day. Not only was Sam easy to work with, flexible with all the ups/downs/changes that COVID brought, she was also thorough and patient. She made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire day.
