What can I say about Sam! I had the pleasure and honour of having her shoot my initiate wedding ceremony and she surpassed all my expectations from start to finish. I worked with her pre-shoot and her communication was always on point. She worked with my fiancé and I to ensure the contract reflected our interests. On the day of, she was early and she came fully prepared to fulfill my vision for the day with notes and reference to what we had spoken about. I love her creativity and how she is able to execute it in such an effortless way.
I love the natural, candidness of all the photos. It’s like she was a fly on the wall. Her expertise in capturing these moments didn’t make us feel awkward or like we had to worry about being in the right position or getting our good side. She just KNOWS where to move and where to be! At the same time, Sam is very intuitive which I think helps with her work. Although she was excellent at being discreet and not invasive during, the event, she was at the same time, so helpful with little things such as my veil, and my shoes, and checking in to make sure I was not stressed during the event. This was above her duties, but I appreciated it so much!
Same was super professional and timely in every area. I’m writing this review shortly after only seeing my previews and I can’t stop looking at the pictures. I can’t wait for the rest! Thank you so much Sam, you are a gem!! -

I truly hate to do this because Sam & Mustafa were amazing up until the wedding and even on the day of. However, the stress that they have caused us after the wedding is truly unfortunate. We got married in September 1st 2024 and were advised our photos would be ready in 6-8 weeks. It wasn’t until countless emails, text messages, & DM’s did we receive our photos on December 31st 2024. We truly thought at one point we would not get our photos because the lack of communication. Then it was promised that we would receive an heirloom photo album. I chose all my photos. Sent them to Sam in January 2025. She told us she would let us know when it shipped. It’s now July 2025. She has ignored all of our emails. A newlywed couple only has photos to remember their wedding day. Having a photographer making the experience this challenging and stressful is truly not worth the money. As kind and wonderful as they were the day of. The aftermath left us with stress and empty responses.
Due to poor professionalism and lack of reliability & communication I would not recommend this vendor.

Everything was Perfect!
Set Sail Bridal did a perfect job. They did our engagement photo shoot and our wedding day. Sam, was remarkable. She made us feel comfortable and talked everything through with us. She is very detailed oriented. All the way down to moving hair out of my face, and rotating my ring to be perfect, she got everything to be perfect. She did an amazing job following through with everything we envisioned and helped with gathering and interesting all of our family portraits. Sam took time and created an amazing and well-organized photo itinerary which was instrumental to how efficiently everything was done. I recommend Set Sail Bridal for any and all occasions! -

Sam is the absolute perfect photographer for any event. Sam went above and beyond for our engagement shoot and our wedding, always made us feel comfortable. At the end of our events, she felt more like a friend who was great at taking pictures than a hired photographer! Her partner, Mostafa was also incredible and we were so lucky to have them with us for our special day. Can't wait to have them around again for our next shoot! -

Sam was patient, kind and made us super comfortable! Working with her for our engagement photoshoot was a breeze.
Due to inclimate weather, we had to postpone our shoot. She was so helpful and flexible with securing another date.
We were super committed to taking our photos at a specific location; she found amazing spots to take our photos. I highly recommend Set Sail Bridal! -

Sam, and Mostafa our photographers, were absolutely incredible. Set Sail heard us out at every meeting and were more than fair with us along the way for both our wedding ceremony and reception. They were both kind, generous, and a joy to work with. We consider them great friends at this point, and we could not give them a higher recommendation. -

Wow! Just WOW! Sam did such an amazing job. She is so sweet and easy to be around and made us feel so comfortable.
We just received our sneak peak pictures and they look AMAZING! The quality of the photos are so amazing. She listened to everything we wanted and created memories that will last a lifetime!
