Some couples want perfection. Some want polish. Some want a Instagram grid filled with whimsy.
And then there are my people ā the ones who want to spend their wedding with the family and friends, not pretending to be models for 8 hours.
Iām Soph and I photograph Ridiculously Happy Ppl. I love people who are a little weird, a little emotional, a little chaotic in the best way, and completely over trying to perform their lives for a camera.
My approach is part documentary, part gentle direction, and part "OMG DON'T MOVE! That's adorable!" I focus on real connection: the hand squeezes, the ugly laughs, the quiet in-betweens that somehow end up meaning the most.
You donāt need to know how to pose. You donāt need to know what to do with your hands. You just need to enjoy your wedding. Iāll take care of the photos like we've been longtime friends and make sure you go home with memories that remind you daily that you're deeply loved.

Amazing experienceā¦. and photos!
Working with Sophia on our wedding day was a blessing. Having a photographer capture all the little moments of our wedding is quite intimate and so choosing someone that you are comfortable with is so important. Due to COVID, all of our interactions before the day were over zoom but from the very start, Sophia made herself available to answer all of our questions, find out about us, our story, and what was important to us on that day. Having a portal to share information was so easy and ensured that we had a say in the kind of photos we were looking for and the āmust haveā shots we wanted. Meeting on that day honestly felt like we were meeting a friend. Sophia was so personable, telling us exactly what she needed from us for the more intimate pictures and blended into to the background to capture amazing pictures of special moments with our friends and family. Thank you Sophia for the beautiful memories that you were able to capture. We will treasure them forever.

Sophia is such an incredible photographer and person. She gave us the gift of reliving our wedding day every time we look at the pictures which is such an incredible thing because it's true - the day really does go by too quickly. Her work is beyond amazing and from our engagement pictures on a cold January afternoon by the bay to our wedding day which was full of love and a lot of rain, my husband and I have had so much fun getting to know Sophia and working with her. So if you're a happy person with a happy partner and looking for a happy photographer, contact Sophia, you definitely won't regret it.

Stop looking for a photographer and hire Sophia right now! She was amazing to work with! We couldn't have imagined a better photographer for our engagement photos and wedding. Sophia worked with us to create a custom package, and was so responsive throughout the entire process. We kept saying we wished Sophia was in charge of everything for our wedding since she was so organized and professional. One of the most meaningful ways that she went above and beyond was to visit our venue ahead of time since she hadn't been there before. She didn't have to do that, but it was a relief knowing she had a very clear plan for photos going into the day. Her assistant was also great and very fun. We felt like we had two extra friends at the wedding. For the GTA, Sophia's prices are so reasonable, and you will be so glad you hired her. We will miss chatting with her on a regular basis.

Sophia is amazing to work with! From the very first meeting over Skype, she was incredibly friendly and professional. We opted not to use the engagement photo session and instead get a photo booth, which Sophia was very accommodating with. She would email from time to time for more information and to see how planning was coming along, offering any help needed along the way.
On the day of the wedding, Sophia and her assistant Liz were great. They arrived on time, were friendly and not at all invasive. Sometimes I didn't even notice them taking photos until I got the gallery and realized how many extras photos they had captured!
There was a little mishap with one of the memory cards, but Sophia offered to correct it for us, and I would never fault her for a tech malfunction. I would definitely recommend Sophia Lemon to anyone looking for GORGEOUS photos of any special events in life and love.

Sophia Lemon---what a gal! Unbelievable. Absolutely the BEST photographer. We could not have chosen a better photographer to capture our wedding day. She was so professional and so incredibly easy to work with. We just adore her and we are in love with the photos she took. I wouldn't trade her in for anyone. She accommodated us with our need to have our dog involved. Heck, he just loved her. If I could do it all over again...I would chose Sophia. Anyone who is getting married, engagement photos---any photos-- she is by far the most wonderful. She captured every moment, every look and made everything perfect. Thank you Sophia...from the bottom of our hearts!

We worked with Sophia for our engagement photos and couldn't wait to work with her again for our wedding day! She is so professional and accommodating. She knew exactly the kind of natural, candid photography we wanted to capture such a special day and she helped us prepare leading up to it with guides and other materials, and by meeting with us to get details sorted before crunch time. On the day-of she was so flexible and put up with all of our crazy ideas and schedule, was happy to photograph our dog and was an all around pleasure to work with. The photos we have are so perfect and we'll treasure them forever! We highly recommend Sophia for any occasion! We can't wait to work with her again :)
