Quirky Love Photography

My fiance found and booked Viara - he managed to find the perfect photographer! She was the perfect actress so the surprise proposal was very much a surprise then proceeded to take the most gorgeous photos - we can't stop looking at them, debating which are our favorites. Neither my fiance nor I are a fan of photoshoots but both of us could not stop raving about how much we enjoyed our experience with Viara! I cannot recommend working with her enough :)

Words cannot describe how amazing our experience with Viara was. She captured every important moment of our wedding, while remaining on the background. We didn’t want a million posed photos and Viara specializes in candid photography. We haven’t received all our pictures back yet, but the ones we did are so beyond beautiful that I started crying at work. Further to this, both my husband and I felt very connected to Viara. She got us and what we wanted right away. We are absolutely over the moon happy with the few photos we have received so far and can’t wait for the rest!

We had an engagement photo session with Viara and couldn´t be happier. She connects with people, is extremely empathetic and also has fun with you!
Not only are her photos amazingly fun and real, but she makes you have a good time while being photographed. None of her work makes you feel like a weird inexperienced model, when you don´t know where and how to look or what to do your hands. She will just capture you as you are.

I will be raving about Viara and Quirky Love Photography for the rest of my life. The fact that we have so many perfect photos that actually reflect the way I remember our wedding day is so invaluable. From getting ready in the AM to the dance party in the late PM, Quirky Love captured all the little moments we didn't want to forget. She is the most fun someone can be while still being professional and delivering the quality you'd expect from a wedding photographer. If you don't live near Kingston - don't worry - she travels!!

Viara made us feel like we were the only people who mattered. She's really fun to be around and she's a massive talent. Her photographs are funny, beautiful,and emotional and she makes you feel like a movie star for the day. Have this lady at your wedding! You won't regret it :)

We had SO much fun with Viara at our June2018 wedding! I would 1000% recommend her for any occasion, especially if your event is a little off beat! We had our wedding in our tiny back yard and even though I was pretty stressed out the whole time you’d never guess from the photos. Just a really positive presence to be around and a blast to work with.

I've been lucky enough to have Viara photograph my wedding and the wedding of a close friend. She is so lovely to be around; both my husband and I can be pretty shy and awkward, but Viara has always made us feel so comfortable and at ease. And her photos!!!! She has such a special gift of capturing authentic moments and emotions. It is a pretty remarkable thing to be able to look through wedding albums and get to relive these moments which go by so quickly on the day of, and I can't thank Viara enough for capturing these for us and letting us re-experience them.

Viara did such an amazing job photographing our wedding. If it was only about her taking pictures the day of, she'd deserve five stars. But it was so much more than that. She helped us understand the process of the wedding production, not just her role as our photographer. She was kind, patient and a general joy to work with. We had multiple delays and issues because of COVID (including me getting stuck out of country while we were designing our album), but she took it all in stride with us and worked with us every step along the way. A true professional who understands the value of good service and quality products. If you're looking for non-traditional wedding pics (ie not everything is a posed, static picture from your grandma's wedding album), then you have to at least give Viara a ring and hear how she operates.

We had the pleasure of Viara photographing our wedding day in May 2019. She and Liz had taken photos at our friends’ wedding right before we got engaged, and had snapped a couple really sweet shots of us dancing there. We knew we wanted them to photograph our own, but the budget was an issue, so we opted for the 6-hour package (the ceremony, and some of the reception) with one photographer. Closer to the wedding as she started sharing some getting ready photos of other wedding on Instagram , I became very sad that we wouldn’t have them. I talked to my husband and we decided to stretch our budget to get the full day. This is the best decision we made for our wedding (choosing Quirky Love, and then later choosing to have the full day). To any brides struggling with justifying the price of a photographer - it is arguably the only real important thing to have. Splurge. Feel good about splurging. My only regret is not also paying for both her and Liz to photograph the day, however, even on her own, Viara blew it out of the water. We are happier with our photos than we could have ever imagined. I provided a pretty sizeable list of portraits do be done and even though that’s not really her jam, she did it quickly and produced amazing shots. The rest of the photos are raw, amazing, and truly capture what the day felt like. Before the wedding, she was very responsive and comforting (especially when I had a breakdown about the possibility of rain a few days before our wedding: and yes, it rained, and the photos were still perfect). If candid, documentary-style photos are what you envision for your wedding day, needless to say I would 100% recommend Quirky Love.
