Phil is an experienced photographer who takes a new-school approach to his craft. He is skilled and able to capture every moment beautifully.
He has energy for days and is deeply passionate about his career.

It is truly an understatement to just say how amazing having Phil and his team present for our day was. In fact, it didn't just start and end with our day. We did our engagement sessions with Phil so we could get to know each other better - and while his photos were amazing, it was his experience, his approach to the big day and his personality that sold us on him...and we are so grateful for this! He helped with planning the schedule so that everything ran seamlessly (did you know you were also getting a wedding planner with him?? LOL). He's just so incredibly experienced and so eager to to help you make sure your perfect day is indeed perfect and a smooth and seamless operation. We had him do his Black and White photos with the guests during cocktail hour and the photos are stunning and the guests had SO MUCH FUN. An amazing experience for the guests because it was something they would get to keep from this day - who doesn't love a professional photo? And they all somehow turn out amazing. He uses a software which allowed us to create a QR code for our photos and share the links (the Black and White album and the entire album) and share with guests afterwards. He also provided us a sneak peak ahead of receiving the full collection of photos. The software he uses to share the photos provided easy access for the guests to look at photos after the fact (especially of themselves as it has built in AI capabilities). The guests loved Phil. We loved Phil. Could not recommend him enough. You will not be disappointed. Of note, his turn around times were great and he was always quick and easy to get a hold of. He also brought a lot of fun and originality to the table. Yes - the props are his. He also ran a slideshow during the evening of some photos from the day which was quite captivating to guests - interesting how eager everyone is to wait around to see the pictures, but also catch a photo of themselves! Beyond highly recommend Phil. -

We cannot recommend Phil Steingard Studios enough for your big event and we will definitely be using them again in the future! Phil and Carmela were amazing photographers for our wedding! We’ve been to many weddings where the photographers leave right after the reception starts, but Phil stayed almost until the end of the night. He got just as many people on the dancefloor…if not more than our DJ… with his photobooth and props. The team went above and beyond! Phil had included a complimentary engagement shoot with our wedding package and the results were incredible. As someone who isn’t the most comfortable in front of a camera, he got so many natural pictures of us during the shoot. At our wedding, he even helped pin my boutonnière back on when it fell off right at the altar. He made sure we got every picture that we had requested and even had some ready to go to show guests on a slideshow during the later part of the evening. I had multiple friends and family shocked by how quickly they could see pictures from earlier that day at the reception. If you are in search of a photographer for your wedding and Phil is available, I would highly recommend going with him! He captured memories that my wife and I will cherish for the rest of our lives! -

My husband and I hired “Photo Phil” and Josiah for our wedding this September! From the get go he impressed us with Phils many many years of experience being in the industry and the multitude of different equipment types he typically carries with him as well! He was so easy going, communicative and very professional. Phil truly went above and beyond for our wedding from the beautiful photos he took, to helping us figure out our wedding day timeline for all other vendors involved as well! He also, has an amazing “Photo Booth” that really helps pump up the party atmosphere too. We do not have enough good words to say! You are truly missing out on an amazing experience if you do not hire Photo Phil! -

We had the incredible pleasure of having Anita and Damon from Steingard Studios as our wedding photographers on September 21, 2024, at the Nottawasaga Resort in Alliston. From the moment we met them, they were warm, professional, and so easy to work with. They immediately made us feel comfortable and were a calming presence throughout our special day.
On the wedding day, Anita and Damon were everywhere, capturing both the big moments and the subtle, candid ones without ever being intrusive. Their attention to detail and passion for their craft really shone through. We were able to fully enjoy our day knowing we were in such capable hands.
While we’re eagerly awaiting the final photos, we have no doubt they will perfectly reflect all the love and joy of our wedding day. Anita and Damon were a dream team, and we’re so excited to relive all those special moments through their lens.
