Michelle is absolutely amazing, she's always quick to respond to e-mail and was very understanding and reasonable during the process of writing up the contract. She is so amazingly professional and met with us before the wedding to check out the venue and lighting conditions. She was absolutely invaluable on the day of our wedding, always willing to help out while capturing gorgeous photos that we will treasure for our whole lives. She went absolutely above and beyond and was so kind and helpful. I love Michelle's documentary style and group photos were so easy and quick. She was willing to do any photos that I specifically requested. I am so happy she was there to capture our day. That five out of five rating is no exaggeration — Michelle Yee was such a pleasure to work with and delivered photos that perfectly captured the joy of our day. We had a weekend destination wedding three hours outside of Toronto and Michelle went above and beyond from Friday to the early hours of Sunday, always there with her camera to capture the most fleeting, beautiful moments. She scoped out the best spots for our wedding photos, wrangled a big group shot (no small task!), even researched the time of sunset on our wedding day so she could get the photos just right. Wow! Loved working with Michelle and have already been recommending her to engaged folks we know. Our friends, having seen the slideshow from our wedding, can't stop talking about how well our photographer captured the day. So thanks again, Michelle!

The 5 out-of-5 star rating for Michelle is not an exaggeration. She is THE. BEST. All capitals. All you need to do is look at her photos for evidence of that fact. There is something about Michelle's pictures that makes me happy inside, and I think you'll agree. At least half of my friends on Facebook and other social media complimented our engagement and wedding photos -- many even asking who this mysterious photographer was and how can they hire her. Michelle understands pretty. She makes everything look good. Some people told me they thought our pictures were for a professional bridal magazine! And they meant it. Example: It was 40+ degrees outside, on the hottest day of the summer. I was wearing full makeup and a heavy dress on Centre Island trying to look cute for our engagement photos, yet I didn't want to kiss my fiance because, well, he was sweaty too. Michelle made it work. Don't ask me how, but she did. And you wouldn't even know there was sweat pouring down our backs, the pictures are insanely gorgeous.

From the first day we met her, to the day we got married, Michelle made everything easy. She listened to what we wanted, and made us feel comfortable at every stage. She was flexible, professional, and most importantly, fun! (And her assistant Robin is pretty awesome too.) She took shots that we didn't even think of, and she helped us experience a lot of the wedding that we were too busy to be a part of. Looking through her slideshow made us cry. (And honestly, when we thought back to the actual day-of experience, we don't remember cameras in our face, she was like a mouse while catching every moment!) We're already planning what other stages of our life Michelle can photograph, because her pictures are how we want to remember things. They are magic.

Michelle was perfect! She has an artistic eye and captured our wedding beautifully! She was professional, warm and friendly. She made all of our guests feel comfortable and was great at organizing large groups for photos. It was the best and easiest decision we made for our wedding, simply put.
The work speaks for itself. I challenge anyone to browse the website and not fall in love with the photos. She has the style of a photo-journalist and a knack for capturing feeling in a photograph. The slideshow came 3 days after the wedding...3! Amazingly fast. The photos exceeded our expectations, and have quite literally awed everyone.

With great pictures comes a great girl! She offers professionalism and organization of course, but there is also a fun and comfortable side that makes her so likeable. She'll melt your heart with her kindness and generosity. She helped glue on my eyelashes and she drove my nephew to my own wedding... among so many other things. Come on, you can't have a better girl by your side.
