HIGHLY recommend
Can’t say enough great things about Michael. Quality of photos are amazing and his ability to capture candid moments is absolutely incredible. I honestly didn’t know he was there half the time and during posed shots, he made us feel so comfortable and at ease. Also amazing with children which is huge on a big day where kids are tired and overwhelmed. He captured our day beautifully. -

Words cannot express how amazing Michael is! He photographed our engagement photos and our wedding in St. Jacobs at Cellar 52. He is an extremely gifted photographer. His integration of the natural resources around him and his great guidance on how to pose created timeless photos that truly left us in awe. Not only is he a great photographer but he was a big part in planning the timeline of our day, kept us on track and was always so understanding and kind. He was always quick to respond to emails and was very organized when it came to phone calls to discuss details of the wedding. Thank you, Michael!! -

Truly the best photographer I’ve ever worked with!!
I am beyond thankful that we had Michael and his wife Kailyn be a part of our day! Michael not only captured our day, but captured the emotion of the day. My husband and I are so grateful for his quality of work and his easy direction. Michael was beyond easy to work with, and made each of us feel so comfortable during the photo process. Everything was 10/10. Response time right from our initial request to receiving our previews was perfect. We had said we wanted quality over quantity when it came to Bride and Groom pictures and he delivered. He got the perfect shots in a short amount of time. He went over and above for everything. It was such a privilege having Michael Steingard as our photographer. After seeing Michael capture my sister's and friend's wedding I knew I wanted Michael to capture our special day. Michael exceeded our expectations. He can take something so simple and make it elegant. He is such a fun photographer! He provides you with good advice, easy to follow instructions and the flow of our wedding day was so smooth. I would highly recommend Michael to any future family or friends getting married -

A fabulous photographer and great person
We are so grateful that we chose Michael to play such an important role in our wedding day. His talent, creativity and vision are obvious from the beautiful galleries in his collection of work. What further sets him apart is his genuine nature, calming presence, and joyful spirit. He put us right at ease from the first time we met him as if he was a friend we had known for years, even when we were full of nerves. Our family and friends also adored him. It was a delight to work with someone who loves his job SO much - to hear the excitement in his voice when he discovered a unique angle or if the snow was falling just right made it such a fun time. He also worked to incorporate our own style preferences into the photographs and tried out some new locations with us for our engagement shoot that were outside his usual repertoire, putting in extra time to make it work and get us some beautiful captures of our day-to-day life together. Our final wedding gallery is nothing short of spectacular. He has our highest recommendation and we sincerely hope our paths cross again in the future. -

If you’re looking for a passionate, creative and fun-loving photographer, then Michael is your guy! The nerves we felt during the beginning stages of planning our wedding were put at ease after our first conversation with him, and the following conversations were no different. His knowledge of the business, tips and tricks for a smooth day, and excitement he brought helped to make our day magical! It was like having a best friend rooting you on all day!
He was what we wanted in a photographer and MORE! Not only did he capture memories we’ll keep forever, but he helped us create our wedding day timeline, answered all of our questions without judgement, and encouraged us to enjoy our day to the fullest. Although he was photographing us for the majority if the day, I never once felt overwhelmed by being in front of the camera. It was as though it was barely there and we were just hanging out with friends and family.
One of the most talked about parts of our wedding was the same-day slideshow that Michael had ready for our guests to view after dinner. How he was able to have so many beautifully edited photos ready in such short time is a testament to his talent. Our guests continue to tell us about how they enjoyed his presence and never felt like Michael and his second shooter were in the way.
Our personal highlights are the multiple wedding videos we received! We get to relive our ceremony, private vows, and first dance as a couple, as well as have a moving portrait to share with our friends and family!! This was something that was important for us to have, so for Michael to provide us with both photo and video was incredible! He brought our vision to life, better than we imagined.
Thank you again, Michael! It was an absolute privilege to have you be a part of our fall wedding. We can tell you’re in a career that makes your heart happy. We truly can not recommend you enough!!

Where do we begin, Michael was recommended to us by a friend and we could not be more pleased with our experience. From start to finish, he was an absolute pleasure to work with, professional, personable and incredibly creative. As a couple who are not used to taking professional photos, he made the process for our wedding photos so smooth and made us and our family and friends feel at ease. Having previously photographed at our venue (Tom Patterson Theatre), he was already familiar with the space and how an event is held there, which was a huge plus. He took the time to double-check with us that he captured all the group photos that were important to us. To top it off, he shared a stunning wedding preview with us just days after our wedding. We can't wait to see the rest of the photos and share them with our family and friends. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a talented and creative photographer. Thank you! -

Michael is an Amazing Photographer!
We could not give a more glowing review for Michael as a photographer! From the countless breathtaking photo ideas to the small details he accounted for during our special day, we could not have asked for a better photographer! Michael helped with everything from pocket squares to boutonniere to even getting the bride and groom drinks during cocktail hour to save us time from standing in line and allowing us to mingle with our guests. During our all day coverage, he even took advantage of down time to sneak in detail shots of things like our rings, invitations and decor shots around the venue! We can't wait to get the remainder of the photos back! As pictured, Michael does whatever it takes to get the shot! You will not be disappointed choosing Michael as your photographer! -
