I noticed a couple of not so positive reviews on Mehg Pie Photography, so I thought I would open up about my experience, as it was not the same as those written here. I first got in contact with Mehg at a wedding show back in January of 2014, we immediately clicked as she was very easy to talk to, personable and her style of photography caught my interest. As it had turned out, I took a hiatus from planning my wedding to buy a home instead, so when I picked up where i left off close to a year or so later, I took my time planning and researching vendors. I did all my research on many photographers but Mehg still stood out to me, and after meeting with her to discuss our wedding plans we decided she was the right fit for us.

Now I will admit, we booked Mehg early on in our planning (about a year prior) and at time she wasn't the easiest person to get a hold of, which is odd in this day and age where everything is so instant. Despite this, I remained persistent with our communication and came out having nearly no issues with her. She shot our engagement session and delivered the photos a month or so later. She shot our wedding this past June and we just received the photos and are very happy with the result. So to all the brides who may have been turned off because they had heard bad things about this particular business, all I would say is, Yes, do your research. But don't let a few negative reviews spoil it for you.

DO NOT book anything of any kind with Mehg Pie Photography. We booked Mehg 18 months in advance of our wedding and paid around $1000 as a deposit in person to solidify her as our wedding photographer. We had a good rapport and communicated frequently via text and email after that. About 6 months before our wedding, all communication stopped abruptly, with no reason and no warning. We never heard from her again. We emailed, we called, we texted, but there has been no response for over 6 months. We lost all faith in her and her business and felt that we could not rely on someone like that for our wedding photography. Luckily, a few months prior to our wedding, we were able to book another photographer.

Our wedding came and went. Mehg never showed up and still has not gotten back to us in any way. I don't think we could be more unimpressed or dissatisfied with her services, or should I say, a complete lack thereof. At this point, we just want our $1000 deposit back so we can move on. So far, still no response post-wedding. We are going to be filing with Small Claims Court by the end of the week if she does not respond.

We know of several other couples who have had the same thing happen to them, or worse yet, had their wedding photos done by Mehg and later never received any of them. That is atrocious. I can't fathom how she can "operate" a business and herself in this manner.

There is also a class action lawsuit mounting against her as a result of repeated behaviour against many other customers. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Tell you friends, your family, you coworkers....anyone who is looking for PROFESSIONAL photography of any kind to look literally anywhere else.

If Mehg had let us know in advance of our wedding that she could not be there and had refunded our deposit, we may feel differently. The way in which she has conducted herself and her business is appalling, and frankly, she has made herself out to be a LIAR, a CHEAT, and for the time being, a THIEF.

Worst service ever. I got my wedding photos done through Mehg last year and still have not received my photos but she still continues to book other clients. There are about 10 of us who got married in 2015 that havn't gotten our photos so she doesn't care about old clients once shes gotten her money. I am just about at my 1 year anniversary and still don't have my photos. I even have family members who have passed away in the photos and shes yet to get them back to me.

Disgusted by her and her service.
