We discovered Meghan through a recommendation from a friend and we couldn't be happier with our experience having Meghan photograph both our engagement shoot and our wedding. She captured both of those moments beautifully. Meghan is laid back yet fun, kind, flexible and patient. We ended up having a bit of a delay and postponing our wedding due to becoming pregnant. Meghan was understanding, switched the date with no hesitation and responded with a "no problem, life happens" and a big "Congratulations!" On our wedding day, she was able to organize our crazy families and children and make us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Her and her partner, Jenn, were there for every special moment and they did not rush to leave at the end of the night. They made sure that everything had been fully captured (getting ready, ceremony, speeches, decor, rings, cake cutting, first dances, bouquet and garter toss, and people dancing and having a good time!) before leaving! We were so happy with the clarity and quality of our engagement shoot photos and the sneak peeks from our wedding. It was such a pleasure working with Meghan and we can't wait to see the rest of our photos and receive our canvas and photo books. I found Meghan online and reached out by email because I liked her portfolio. From the very first contact, she was prompt, friendly and professional with communication about our small family wedding in Ancaster. She asked for a list of shots that we were particularly interested in capturing the day of the event, and had a standard contract that was easy to read and understand.

On the day of the wedding, she was incredible! She showed up a little early to take some photos of the venue before it was crowded with guests, and was so discreet during the ceremony I honestly didn't even know she was there. Afterwards, she was great at giving direction to our family members to stage some great formal (and hilarious informal!) photos.

The end result? We have dozens of GORGEOUS photos that are bright, airy, and warm. She perfectly captured all the light and joy of my wedding day, and every single important moment. I had tears in my eyes looking at them for the first time. I honestly don't know how she took so many great shots so much so quickly; I think she has a magic wand instead of a camera.

I'll absolutely be booking Meghan again for family portraits and I can't recommend her enough to anyone looking for wedding, event or truly beautiful family photos.
