Julie and Wes made our elopement experience, exceptional.

As a wedding officiant I had VERY HIGH expectations for what I wanted from our images, and equally important, how I wanted to feel throughout my day. They set us at east from the get-go, and by the time they were snapping photos, we knew we had made the right choice.

The way they communicated between them to get the perfect shot, often without words, speaks to their professionalism, experience, and comfort with one another. And this makes SUCH a difference when you're hiring photographers to document you in some of the most important, emotionally charged moments of your lives. They equally made my family feel comfortable when they entered their home, and this was VERY important to me as my dad lives with Alzheimer's.

They kept the mood so lighthearted, and reassured us at multiple points throughout the day through their excitement for the shots they were getting. They were so much more than two people hired to get images, they were our cheerleaders with a gift for capturing us in all the BIG moments, and all those seemingly unnoticed moments in between.

When we received our full album we made a date night of it to look at every single indescribably beautiful shot they took 💕 There were so many surprises in there, images we had no idea they were they taking. This was so special. We hiked through the forest, canoed, and danced under the starlight, and they were there capturing it all for us, sharing in our joy, and never settling for a "good enough" shot.

It was the happiest day of our lives, and our photos show it. Julie & Wes, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You will allow us to return to our wedding day time and time again, to relive the beauty of our day through your talented lenses.

My husband & I got married last October 22, 2023 at Dark Horse Estate Winery in Grand Bend with a vineyard ceremony & indoor reception. We could not have had better weather, sun was shining warm, about 20 degrees, with a light breeze.

After a lot of research into potential wedding photographers, we made the decision to hire LoveKnots Photography. To say this was the best decision we could have possibly made to remember our day just as it was is an UNDERSTATEMENT to the highest degree. We loved their shooting & editing style. We had both engagement photos and the day of photos done by them. They were able to capture candid moments in time that you can see exactly what happened without requiring video. Both Wes & Julie made us feel so comfortable as we had never had professional photos done of us before. Their creativity and intuition on what would look exceptional is quite impressive. We were thrilled at how well our engagement session photos looked, but when we we received our wedding photos, we had to pick our jaws up off the floor. We were almost in tears of happiness that they could so masterfully capture every moment of our day that we will cherish for a lifetime. I think it took us 5 hours to go through all the photos because we couldn't stop talking about how beautiful they were. For Christmas, we made photo albums for both sets of parents & grandparents. They absolutely loved them!!! Julie & Wes were so professional and just overall amazing down to earth people. We both agreed we would recommend them in a heartbeat as we simply could not have imagined our photos to be any better. As we were looking through them, we could not see any issues like "my double chin looks big" or "that's a really unflattering photo of so and so." These flaws were simply non-existent. There's a common saying that you look 10lbs heavier in a photograph. I can tell you this, not the way Wes & Julie take their photos!! I myself have always been self-conscious about my body due to previous medical issues. I have never felt more sexier & beautiful than their photos show.

One thing we are SO thankful we did was splurge on the photography and damn are we glad we did!!!!!

Wes and Julie are the best! Due to Covid we had a small wedding and full reception -we hired them to do both and could not be happier with our decisions! They also did our engagement shoot (which included our two large dogs) and they were just the best! Made us feel comfortable instantly- worked with us on everything. Made our lives so simple. My husband hates getting his photo taken but was very comfortable and happy with Wes and Julie! We worked with them three times now for our events and we will be again in the future! Bonus - the photos are edited beautifully and returned to you within a month!! Highly HIGHLY recommend them to everyone!

Wes and Julie were very professional and easy to work with. They were very knowledgable of the London area with great suggestions for photo locations. We absolutely loved both our wedding and engagement photos, which had a nice mix of more traditional shots with some unique and more artistic shots as well. They really kept us at ease through the entire experience, and were flexible when needed. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer!

My husband and I had the pleasure of having both Wes and Julie of Love Knots photographing our wedding in May 2011 and our Engagement in 2010. We really loved how gentil, caring and fun loving they were. We always had a great time and felt so comfortable with the two of them and our photos are proof of that. Not to mention how fair their pricing is! We really appreciate that they give their couples ALL of their photos taken that on their day instead of 200 or so, although it makes it very challenging to only pick a few for our wedding album, they are all SO GREAT. They are always quick to reply to an e-mail, full of ideas, honest and very genuine people. They have since shot my best friends wedding as well and she was beyond impressed with her photos.
