Exceeded every expectation.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for our micro-style elopement. From the moment we met him, Joey brought such an easygoing, fun energy that instantly put us at ease, which is no small feat considering we’re a notoriously awkward couple in front of the camera!

He made the entire experience feel effortless and natural, guiding us with just the right balance of direction and encouragement so nothing ever felt forced or staged. The results? We somehow ended up looking relaxed, cool, and completely ourselves in every single photo. Still don’t know how he pulled that off, but we’re so grateful he did!

What truly blew us away was not just the quality of the photos (which are stunning), but also the speed and volume of the delivery. He delivered a full gallery of absolute gems in record time.

He exceeded every expectation and then some. If you're even considering working with him - do it!! You won't regret it!

So talented and friendly

We found Joey after he photographed a family wedding and were immediately impressed with the quality of his photographs. He photographed both our engagement shoot and our recent wedding and I love them all. His style is timeless and elegant and he is able to get such a great mixture of candid and staged shots. We already received a sneak peek of our wedding photos, the turnaround was like not even 24 hours, and they are so great!!

On top of his talent, Joey is also just a lovely person. He is very kind and always makes us feel comfortable in front of the camera - this is huge for two shy people like my husband and me. I only have good things to say about Joey!!

Joey is an incredibly creative and talented photographer!

Zach and I are absolutely blown away by our wedding photos! When we started scrolling through our gallery for the first time, we were speechless.

Joey is incredibly talented, fun and kind. Before our wedding, he met with us a few times to go through logistics and he listened intently to all my hopes and ideas for our photos.

Joey showed up on the morning of our wedding with a calm demeanor, yet excitement to capture our day. He went above and beyond to capture the photos I was excited for alongside photos I could have never imagined. Joey is creative; he plays with light, wind and shapes/buildings/scenery, resulting in the most unique and magical photos you could imagine. It goes without saying that the photo quality and editing style are superb.

Joey captured our day perfectly, juggling two different locations across the city of Ottawa as well as rainy weather; when the rain fell, Joey was extremely helpful as we pivoted our plan for the day and timing for family photos.

We look forward to enjoying our wedding photos for many years to come, and are having a hard time deciding which ones will make it onto the walls of our home!!

The Absolute Best

We have had the absolute honour of having Joey document both our elopement and our big wedding party. Not only is Joey fun and easy to work with, but his talent to capture the most beautiful moments is unmatched. During the ceremony, it was as if he wasn't there, yet he captured so many amazing moments. We are forever grateful for the countless, stunning pictures we have and thrilled that we will get to relive such important moments for years to come. Joey is an amazing photographer!

Joey was amazing. Super flexible, followed along with a few suggestions we made for pictures. He was very professional, extremely nice and friendly to us and our family and friends. You will not regret this...

I cannot say enough good things about Joey Rudd. Wedding photography is a large expense but it was beyond worth it! When we met with Joey, we clicked instantly and we ultimately decided to go with him because of his ability to capture raw emotion on the faces of everyone at the wedding (which you can see throughout his portfolio). Joey just understood us as a couple and the vibe that we wanted. Also, there is nothing Joey won't climb on to get his shot. Would 100% recommend - we are so happy!

Amazing! Very talented photographer

Joey was a true professional. He captured our wedding day beautifully. He provided us with a mix of posed photos, candid shots, and creative artistic photos as well. We had such a great experience, he is friendly, easy to work with, has a great eye for capturing moments and a unique perspective. He is very talented and we highly recommend him.
