Jimena is an amazing photographer. From the moment we agreed to do our engagement shots with her, we found in her a person we could trust, ask (a thousand) questions and guidance, from dress code and poses to schedule and timeline on the wedding day.
She is very knowledgeable and professional, and made of our engagement session a fun experience (we both were very much camera shy). She is supportive and enthusiastic and encouraged us to be ourselves in front of the camera and it worked like magic!
Duting the wedding day, she took pictures of every little detail, something very important to me as I´m a very detail-oriented person and I love the fact that I have all of those pictures to remember them.
When we received all of our pictures we were shocked at the amount of pictures she had taken. Except for the times she actually had to request for a group to gather together, you would not even know she was there taking pictures of every moment.
Also, she is bilingual (English / Spanish) which was perfect for our multicultural guests.
All of our favourite pictures ever taken of us together were taken by Jimena on our wedding day. We could not be happier with her work. -

Jimena was amazing from start to finish! She was so easy to communicate with. Immediate response, transparent pricing - all was set pretty quick between us. I just got that gut feeling that she would be perfect and she really was! We communicated through text, email and Zoom (we're from Ottawa, wedding in Toronto). Zoom was a perfect avenue to take, as she thought this would be a good way for her to get a feel for us, etc.
On the day of the wedding she made it so seamless! She showed up early to take photos of the venue and people arriving. During the ceremony and the reception she took a variety of photos - some staged and some completely candid during conversation. I must add, neither my husband (now) and myself enjoy having our pictures taken, and Jimena reassured us not to worry and that the photos will be beautiful, and wow - she did an absolute amazing job!
Picture turnaround time was quick
Jimena capture some of the most special and memorable photos, I can't thank her enough, xo -
