  I cannot say enough great things about Jay! He is talented, professional and just generally nice and likable individual. 
  
  We hired Jay to be our engagement photographer (which is well worth it) and our wedding day. 
  
  He was so nice and genuine...as well as professional, punctual, and helpful. Just the kind of people you want around for your wedding day. Jay was the first vendor (even before wedding planner) to arrive on our wedding day and he was all over the place (in a good way) getting great creative shots.
  
  We got our wedding highlight last week (about a month after the wedding) and its sooooo good! The editing job is excellent. The photos came up the way I had always imagined - but better.

  People say that you should choose your wedding photographers carefully, because photos are the only tangible thing you will keep from the day. Having been through the experience, we are so glad that we chose Jay. We will enjoy looking back at our images for many years!
  
  Selecting a photographer is pretty daunting with the number of online blogs and websites to go through. What stood out for us about Jay was his ability to handle almost any lighting condition. Jay really is the master of light! Both our ceremony and reception were held in a beautiful Toronto restaurant, where lighting was dark and intimate. Looking at our photos, he really captured the feel of the room, but you can see everything that's going on.
  
  Jay was responsive and professional by email. He was very unobtrusive during the ceremony and reception. He felt like part of the gang during the wedding party photos and portraits. He was very casual in style and was very receptive to feedback or ideas. We created a Pinterest board together to show him the pictures we'd like to have and he was very accommodating in capturing all the shots we wanted.
  
  Overall, we would highly recommend Jay Li Photography!

  Jay did a great job photographing our wedding and retouching the shots. He was creative, professional and worked with us to find a happy midpoint between our budget and what we wanted done. I'd recommend him to anyone.

  Jay was incredibly flexible He genuinely cared and wanted to learn long before our wedding, what was going to make us happiest on our big day. His photos are stunning! We have received so many compliments about them. The value is second to none. Thanks for everything Jay, it was a true pleasure!!

  Jay is AMAZING!!
  
  After seeing his breathtakingly beautiful photos on his website, I HAD to have him for both my engagement and wedding photos.
  
  First off, I have to comment on how awesome it is to have someone make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. My husband doesn't like to have his picture taken, but having Jay around guiding us on how/what to do for beautiful photos truly helped. He is very energetic, fun, and professional.
  
  Next, it is imperative to comment on the way Jay handles his sessions. He is not afraid to get down in the dirt/grass/etc. for that perfect shot, all while making sure his clients are happy and comfortable with their surroundings.
  
  After our engagement shoot, we couldn't be more excited to have him back for our wedding. He stayed with us the whole day (at an unbeatable price) capturing EVERY single little detail. This was so important to me because I stayed so busy running from guest to guest that I didn't have the time to sit back and enjoy all the little details I had worked so hard on putting together. His attitude was so positive! He was a trooper thorough the 12 hours we had him working.
  
  Lastly, and more importantly: the final product. His photos are ART. He truly has an eye like no one else. He takes the time to get to know the individual/couple and captures the essence of them. He genuinely listens to wants and needs of his clients. He sincerely wants to make every individual ecstatic with their photos. He gives something that is priceless: capturing images that are worth just as much as the moments themselves. This is something that you can enjoy and cherish for years to come.

  Jay was so easy to work with - He was open to ideas that my husband and I had and was very flexible in accommodating our timeline for the day. All of his photos are unique, beautiful and well thought out. I sent his link to fiancée and a couple of friends and they felt the same so we hired him and never regretted doing so.
  
  He is professional, creative, and passionate and really is an excellent artist. He truly knows his stuff. He understood that engaging our guests was very important to us and made sure that everyone of our 40 guests was included in a photo or two. His direction during the shots was professional and sprinkled with humor. Nearly all of our guests commented on how great he was.
  
  We sent a photo or two to all of our guests. Our photographs are beautiful and amazing and just wonderful.

  we found and talked to several photographers in the Greater Toronto Area, but ended up going with Jay because we liked his portfolio the best, and once we met him we found him to be super nice and easy to work with.
