Clarissa goes above and beyond
My husband and I booked photography with Clarissa for our October 2025 wedding, and it was the best decision that we made. From our first meeting, she was warm, welcoming and kind. She walked us through the process and put our minds at ease – it was a no-brainer to have her capture our special day.
Booking an engagement shoot gave us all the opportunity to get acquainted. She is such a pro and made it so easy to warm up to being in front of the camera, but she also made it really fun! My camera-shy husband quickly became comfortable with the process, and we were thrilled with the photos we got back.
When it came to the wedding day, Clarissa made everything so easy. From the morning, capturing a few “getting ready” shots, to the evening, getting snapshots of our dancefloor, and everything in between, it felt like she didn’t miss a single moment. Clarissa was so organized, professional and friendly - not to mention patient through the process of getting all of our family portraits completed in the blazing sun. She also seemed to disappear into the crowd during the ceremony and reception to capture some incredible candid pictures. Her attention to detail was amazing, and Clarissa took special care to get some beautiful photos of my 94-year old grandmother, which is incredibly meaningful to my family.
We were blown away when after less than 24 hours after the wedding, we already had a “sneak peek” with many gorgeous pictures to look back on. Now that we have our full gallery, including some incredible and unexpected videos, we are so beyond grateful to have worked with her. Many of our guests have raved about the photos and about how amazing Clarissa was, and we have to agree.
It’s not just the amazing quality and quantity of her photos that had us floored – those speak for themselves. It’s the love, dedication and passion for what she does that was so clear to us. We are so thankful to have so many beautiful moments captured. Clarissa, thank you for your incredible work – you went above and beyond to memorialize one of our most important days and we are so appreciative.
Clarissa is an amazing photographer and an even better person, and we would highly recommend her and Golden Hour Photo Co to everyone. -

Our photographer was absolutely amazing. They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and captured the day so beautifully. Every photo feels full of joy and emotion, and they really told the story of our day. They were organized, professional, and also so much fun to be around; it felt like having friends with us all day. We will treasure these photos forever!

In summary, Clarissa is an incredibly talented photographer and you will not be disappointed in booking her for your wedding.
From the first time we contacted Clarissa, we were impressed by her high level of organization, clarity in communication, and punctuality. She truly blew every other photographer we contacted out of the water in these areas.
Every step of the way, Clarissa was amazing to work with and so responsive. She has wonderful advice and insights to offer when making your photography plan for the day. We did engagement photos with her as well and I love them so much. The punctuality of delivering sneak peeks within 24 hours is so appreciated.
On the wedding day, Clarissa helped everything run smoothly and easily adapted to last-minute timeline changes. She took time to understand what was important to us and prioritized this to capture every special moment. Her photos tell the story of the day through Clarissa's talented eye for taking the perfect photograph. Friends + family alike commented on how great she was at popping up at the exact moment they wanted to take a picture as well as her kind and positive demeanour.
We are in love with our photos and know that we will cherish these memories for the rest of our lives. -

Beyond happy - best photographer!
Hiring Clarissa was the best decisions we made for our wedding day. From the moment we met her, it felt like we were hanging out with our best friend — the kind who makes you laugh, you feel comfortable around, and is so positive. She is kind, fun, and incredibly genuine. We trusted her completely, and she goes way above and beyond — words honestly can't describe how much we appreciate her. She is so responsive, helped us find photo locations, delivered sneak peaks within 24 hours (and so many photos too), and even stayed longer to make sure we got every shot we wanted, to name a few!
You can tell she loves what she does — her excitement while shooting is amazing and you can absolutely see that joy come through in her work. Every guest commented on how friendly, professional, and lovely she was to be around. And the photos… oh my gosh…they are STUNNING. The engagement shoot helped us feel so much more comfortable in front of the camera, and it ended up being the most fun experience! The photos are something we will have forever and everyone tells us they are gorgeous. Clarissa captures the perfect moments and her style of photography is so beautiful and timeliness.
We’ll cherish these photos forever and already know we’ll be using her for every milestone to come. Thank you Clarissa — you’re truly one of a kind and we’re SO lucky to have had you by our side! If you are looking for a photographer, she is the one! -

A Photographer Bestie
If I could write 100 reviews for Clarissa I would, she would of gotten 100+ reviews from our wedding guests who sung her praises. Not only is she an amazing photographer but she genuinely cares and is willing to answer any question you may have related to photography or not. She was adaptable on our wedding day. I never felt rushed or like we couldn't get the photos we wanted. She even braved the cold for us and let me wear her winter coat! She had a plan for where to take photos so it was so easy and effortless. I felt like I had my bestie there documenting this giant party I had planned. Look no further for a photograper! Just book Clarissa!

She really helped us feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera and it showed in our photos. Clarissa was the absolute best vendor we hired for our wedding, from the engagement shoot to the wedding day she was amazing, she made sure we were comfortable, she learned what we liked and made sure on the wedding day that she incorporated all the angles and photos we liked. Clarissa made sure to ask if we were ok and really was more like a planner on our wedding day than just a photographer, she ensured we were hydrated, we didn’t feel overwhelmed and when needed played interference with anything we didn’t want to do. Words cannot express how imperative and relaxing she made our day, without her calming energy and amazing talents we wouldn’t have had such a magical day. She also delivered a wide variety of sneak peak pics of the day 24 hrs after our event which was amazing as we were so excited to share it with all our guests and to see her work so quickly! This is an amazing perk to hiring her as the anticipation of your pictures is something that you want to see right away!!
