Clarissa and team (Sam on second camera and Michael on video) were beyond amazing on our day. It’s rare that you come across a vendor impacts the outcome of your day for the better, but Golden Hour did just that. We started off the day on a little bit of miscommunication (Clarissa had the start time later than I originally thought), but I barely felt that “mix up” at all. Clarissa and Sam problem solved so quickly and even though they started a few minutes “later” than I had expected, they still got all of my preferred shots in (and more!). I knew from that moment on that we were in good hands. All you can ask of a vendor on your special day is trust. And I (an event planner myself) was able to give my 100% trust in Clarissa and her amazing team and there’s nothing more I could have asked for. They made the “formal” part of taking photos go by so quickly and they made it so fun with their creative ideas and positive energy.
Now, for the quality of photos – wow! Clarissa/Sam have a natural talent and captured all the moments we didn’t even know we needed or wanted captured. And I’m writing this only have seen my sneak peaks at this point, so I can’t even imagine what the rest of the photos will look like. Her editing style is unique, and each picture tells a story and brings me right back to that moment.
Golden Hour is the type of vendor you not only want at your wedding – they are the vendor you need. There was no task Clarissa/Sam/Michael wouldn’t do for us – they constantly checked in with us about things even unrelated to photography/videography. They genuinely wanted to make sure we were having the best day of our lives. I can’t recommend them enough! If you don’t choose Golden Hour, you’re losing out.

Golden hour did my cousins wedding and her photos turned out so beautiful. They reply incredibly fast, and do incredible work. Definitely consider them for your wedding!

Great product, Amazing to work with!
My fiancee and Clarissa had the chance to meet for our engagement photoshoot, roughly about 6 months before our wedding date. Clarissa was friendly to talk to, she was able to give us poses and make the shoot easy going, and not awkward! We received the products fairly quick and we are really happy with the photoshoots, the edited photos and the final products. Would definitely recommend Clarissa and Golden Hour to future brides and grooms.

Clarissa is awesome!
We’ve hired Clarissa for our upcoming wedding and already we are impressed! We did an engagement shoot with her a few weeks ago and got our photos back very quickly, and they’re beautiful! She is so easygoing, easy to work with, very organized and upfront about her costs & services, so there are no surprises. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience
My fiancé and I just had our engagement photoshoot with Clarissa and we had an incredible time. We are two shy and awkward people in front of the camera but Clarissa made us feel like movie stars. We felt so comfortable working with her, and her prompts were perfect to help direct us while keeping the photos as candid as possible - which was a big priority for us. She has been so kind, knowledgeable and communicative. We couldn’t be happier with her relaxed and fun shooting style and we are so excited to have her be our photographer at our wedding next year. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

My fiance and I are both a little awkward in front of a camera, but Clarissa made us feel so comfortable, and relaxed! She played music for us as we were getting our photos taken, knows a bunch of beautiful places to take shots, and has an such a good energy about her, that we can't wait for her to be our wedding photographer.

Nothing but amazing!
Clarissa was amazing! She felt like an old friend the minute we started our Zoom call. We felt comfortable with her and she made us feel at ease. She was easy to contact when we needed advice and she was also very helpful when it came to setting up our timeline. Our engagement shoot with her was a breeze. We shot it at Scarborough Bluffs just a week before the wedding because we came in from Vancouver. On the wedding day, she made us and our families and friends so comfortable. She made sure that she knew their names and they were so happy to see the sneak peeks! We are so lucky we got her for our wedding and we are forever grateful that she captured our day. The wedding photos of my dreams!
We had a small cermony of family only and Sam from Golden hour photography fit right in. She was fun and personable and everyone felt right at ease with her.
A true professional who took the time to study the venue and know what shots she wanted to take. She showed up early to set up a spot set up in the shade for family photos as it was so hot outside. She even helped us pack up the venue and set up at home in our yard for a small family dinner and hangout.
We literally got a sneak peak within days and they are stunning photos. She's not only a great photographer but she's just an awesome person. I can not recommend her hightly enough.

So organized and accomodating!
We are so excited to have chosen Clarissa as our wedding photographer! She recently shot our engagement photos and we could not be happier with how they turned out. Clarissa was so accommodating with our choice of location, driving quite a distance herself. She also kept track of the weather (which I totally forgot to do) and rescheduled for the perfect day. Her organization, ease with which she made us feel comfortable, and friendliness let us know we definitely made the right choice! So excited to see our wedding day captured by her.
