We are so glad that we choose Krystal and Mike to be apart of our day, over the years they have captured a lot of special moments(including our surprise engagement) so it only made sense to have them be a part of our wedding as well!
They are both the most amazing people to work with, they make everything feel so fun and easy, like spending time with friends.
Neither one of us are fond of being in front of a camera but working with them we felt so comfortable and the nerves disappeared.
They managed to capture every detail of the day and the end result is amazing! We absolutely love our photos!
Krystal also played a huge part in helping with the planning and recommending amazing vendors, it took so much stress out of the whole process! I can not thank her enough for this!
I would recommend Fly Free Photography to anyone looking for not only wedding pictures but even just family pictures! They are such a great team to work with. Love them so much!!

We had an amazing experience with our wedding photographer. She was super easy to work with and made everything feel relaxed and natural on the big day. You can honestly tell how passionate she is about what she does—it really shows in the way she captures moments. The photos turned out incredible and perfectly reflect how the day felt. We’re so happy with them and would absolutely recommend her to anyone getting married. -

The most amazing experience!
We are beyond grateful we chose Fly Free Photography to capture our wedding day. From the very beginning, she made us feel completely at ease, and you could truly feel how passionate she is about her work. It wasn't just something she did - it was something she clearly loved, and that energy carried through the entire day.
The way she cared about every moment every detail, and every emotion made such a difference. You could feel her passion in how present she was, how thoughtfully she quided us, and how dedicated she was to capturing our story exactly as it felt.
Looking through our photos instantly brings us back to the love, joy, and emotion of the day. Choosing her was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and we will treasure these photos forever. We cannot recommend her enough to anyone looking for someone who truly pours her heart into what she does!

10/10 Experience with Fly Free!
This review is way overdue but I can’t stop thinking about how amazing our engagement shoot with Fly Free Photography and Film in Calgary was!
Neither of us had ever been professionally photographed before, so I was a little nervous going in. Krystal and Mike instantly made us feel comfortable and confident. They had everything perfectly planned, from the timeline and poses to helping us prep for the weather and even coordinating our outfits. We didn’t have to stress about a single thing because they took care of us completely.
The session itself was such a blast. We were laughing the whole time and it honestly felt like we were just hanging out with friends who happened to be insanely talented photographers. And the final photos and videos? Absolutely stunning. I’m not usually the type to be easily impressed, but they truly outdid themselves. Just look at the photos!
If you’re looking for a once-in-a-lifetime shoot and want a team who makes the whole experience fun, easy, and unforgettable, I 10/10 recommend Fly Free! -

Couldn’t be happier!
Krystal and her team have been absolutely amazing to work with! You can tell she really cares and loves what she does! She helped so much with my wedding planning process and took so much stress off of a very stressed out bride! Krystal and the Fly Free team were of real value to us. Since we're from Holland and decided to have our wedding ceremony in Canada everything had to be arranged over distance. We were scared at first, especially because we had to give up all control, but Krystal made us feel really comfortable since the first meeting.
She and her team arranged everything we hoped for! Our day was really special and intimate and sometimes we didn't even notice they were present at all. They are very open and kind people and lovely to work with.
Our day was truly magical. We received our first preview really quickly, and we were blown away by the images.
We hope to hire them again for our anniversary! :D -

Krystal went above and beyond and made our elopement an absolute dream come true. She was a consummate professional throughout the whole experience -- incredibly responsive, detail oriented and organized. On the day of the elopement, in particular, she steadied our nerves with her infectious positivity. She and her videographer, Mike, were so warm and friendly and took special care to make us feel comfortable. She emphasized capturing our authentic selves for our photos and videos, so we spent the morning laughing and enjoying each other's companies. You can't find a more committed team than the Fly Free Photography team to capture your special moments. Krystal is truly amazing. -

A lot of people say planning their wedding is a very stressful experience, we can't relate because Krystal planned everything making our experience completely stress free and a total dream!
We always knew we wanted to elope rather than have a big wedding and fell in love with Banff when planning a holiday there so decided that would be the place for us. We found Krystal on Pinterest and as soon as we contacted her we felt her energy and love for photography and elopements. She understood what we wanted and gave us amazing advice about the areas to go to and provided really helpful timelines and tips for our day. It should have been more complicated organising a wedding in Canada from the UK but it was so simple with Krystal taking the lead.
Our wedding day was the best day and exactly what we wanted. Neither my husband or I like our photos being taken but she made it so easy and we never felt uncomfortable at all. We were able to relax and enjoy just getting married in the most incredible place.
The sneak peek gallery was an amazing collection of photos that we used to announce our elopement to friends and family and we loved that they were an assortment of different images and amazed that we received them so quickly.
Now we have the full gallery we are so impressed. She has captured the day and the scenery so well - the photos are more than wedding photos they are incredible pieces of artwork that we happen to be in.
If anyone is thinking of eloping in Banff - do it and work with Fly Free Photography, you won't regret it. -
