Incredible Wedding Photographers
Erin and Ian went above and beyond for our engagement and wedding day photography. They understood our vision immediately and fit in seamlessly with our wedding. They were organized, incredibly kind, and easy to work with -- we seriously cannot recommend them enough!! -

Beyond Expectations
Erin and Ian were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. From our engagement photos through to day of our wedding getting ready, the ceremony, and the dance floor, they captured every moment without missing a thing. They made us feel so comfortable, it felt like we already knew them, and having them around on our wedding day was such a joy.
They are incredibly creative and took care of all the thinking and directing, which made the entire experience feel effortless for us. And the photos themselves… absolutely incredible. Truly beyond our expectations. On top of that, their sneak peek turnaround was so fast and included a generous number of photos, which we loved. We couldn’t recommend Erin and Ian more highly! -

After we booked our wedding venue, Erin and Ian were the first vendor we booked over two years in advance and one of the best decisions we made! Neither of us had ever been photographed professionally before so we didn’t know what to expect, we simply knew we liked their work and they were familiar with our venue. To our delight, on both our engagement shoot and wedding day they instantly made us feel comfortable and confident, such that taking the photos felt fun and not at all like a chore. They were extremely professional, organized, and kind. I sent Erin a list of shots I was hoping to capture and I was so impressed how she did an amazing job remembering them, timing everything perfectly, while capturing all the key moments and more than I could have imagined. For instance, we had two deer appear before our ceremony and they captured that! I really wanted sunset photos and sadly the weather on our day was not looking promising but they timed it perfectly and staying for 30 extra seconds on Ian’s request resulted in sunset photos on an overcast day! I am so happy we picked them to be part of our day and would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for wedding photographers. -

Wedding + Engagement Photography
Erin and Ian photographed our Sept 7/25 wedding at the Ancaster Mill. Her photography speaks for itself - simply the best of the best. She captured every moment better than we could have ever imagined. She went above and beyond on our wedding day and felt like a second day-of coordinator. Ian, without hesitation, jumped through thick forest and bushes at our first look location to ask a neighbour to turn off their lawn mower to make sure our first look was perfect for us! Their warmth can put even the most shy couples and wedding guests at ease for photography. We had so many guests tell us impromptu how impressed they were with her before we even got to see her amazing pictures! Sorry Erin, you are now stuck with us for all of our future photography needs!

Erin & Ian were a joy to work with. I could not have asked for better photos! Our engagement shoot was fantastic and allowed us to get to know Erin, the process of taking photos, and begin to think about posing/ our angles that we liked. Erin was so prompt with getting us highlight pictures and the editing was fantastic. The number of shots she was able to get is incredible! For our wedding day, Erin & Ian were amazing. Erin arrived early and supported the girls while getting ready. She was there taking ample pictures and got some great shots. Ian was with the boys and they all loved getting their pictures taken with him! For the ceremony and reception, they nailed every single shot and ensured the lighting and backdrop were perfect. They made suggestions and helped fix hair along the way. They got us a series of sneak peak photos so early and they all look fantastic! We could not be happier with Erin & Ian! 10/10 would recommend! -

Erin and Ian are the absolute dream team you want as your wedding photographers! They are absolutely lovely to work with, so timely and flexible with changing plans, have amazing ideas for the most breathtaking photos, and are genuinely so excited to share in your special day. Exceptional Wedding Photos & Experience with Erin Blackwood Photography!!
Erin and Ian were phenomenal to work with on our wedding day! It was easy to get in touch with and communicate our plans with them before the wedding. You can really tell just how experienced they are during the planning process. As we had no clue where to start, Erin and Ian made it easy to plan and we felt prepared and excited going into the day. They made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera! They remembered the little details and were able to execute our vision beautifully. We are so so happy with our photos and can't believe how well they turned out!! -

We hired Erin Blackwood Photography for our wedding and they truly exceeded all of my expectations from our initial meeting, the lead up to our wedding, our engagement shoot and of course the day of our wedding!! For starters Erin and her husband are super kind and truly listen to what you want for the day of your wedding, they did a phenomenal job capturing the day and my vision for our wedding! Not only did our pictures turn out beautiful due to their talent and eye for capturing such beautiful moments they also were SO helpful the day of our wedding! Erin is always there to support you, hype you up and even give a lending hand to help make the day go by smoother and I really appreciated that! Their expertise is not only evident in their photography but also in the wedding industry in general so they also had some very insightful advise that we found helpful for our special day! I could go on and on about how happy I was with their work and would 100% recommend for anyone looking for a wedding photographer!! -
