An absolute gem of a human and an amazing eye for beautiful photos!
My husband and I have never had professional photos done together before, nor are we particularly familiar with having photos done separately even. Erika was so patient, so kind, and so genuine throughout the entire process. Her look and style of photography is what drew me to her work originally and I was absolutely not disappointed when we received our gallery of photos from her. I would recommend her and book her again in a heartbeat. She is such a sweet, kind authentic human and it absolutely came through the entire time in how she was during our session.

So much more than a Photographer!
Erica was truly a highlight of our wedding day! The way she made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and all of her suggestions along the way made her feel like part of the family rather than a vendor. Her expertise was invaluable to us through the planning process and on our day. We also did engagement pictures with her and absolutely love the final product, we cannot wait to see the pictures from our wedding! Fun and simply amazing!
Erica was our photographer for our wedding on Grouse Mountain this past August. She is very friendly and knows just how to make you at ease. She easily helped us get past how self-conscious we felt about posing for pictures. She managed to capture some very special moments during our ceremony and after.
It was quite a foggy day at the top of Grouse Mountain, but it made for amazing pictures like none we had seen before. And when the clouds parted at just the right time during our ceremony, she captured that special moment perfectly.
We couldn’t be more pleased, and we definitely hope to use her services again to immortalize other family milestones in the future.

Highly Recommend!
We had the most amazing experience with Erica for our backyard wedding. The whole experience coordinating leading up to the event was so organized and relaxed and flexible, she would always reach out with ample notice to make sure things were on track and sorted which was really helpful when we were dealing with 10+ vendors without a coordinator. Erica was an absolute joy to work with as well. We got a (very reasonable) package that included an engagement shoot, wedding day (2 photographers), and wedding book. Our engagement shoot was so much fun and the photos turned out way better than we ever expected ( we are awkward and not very photogenic, or so we thought). We haven’t received the wedding photos yet as our wedding was just last week but I have no doubt they will be amazing. Erica was just so much fun to have around! Our guests also commented on how fantastic she was. Do yourself a favour and book with Erica! You will not regret it!

Lazy edits
I recieved photos with poorly done photoshop to edit out the pilot ( i would have rather the pilot than what i got) and untouched acne. I mean come on, if youre going to photoshop anything let us feel pretty when we look back at photos. Photos recieved were the equivalent to applying Instagram's Ludwig filter on. She was hired through The Young Hip and the Married. I spent today editing my own photos to remove blemishes and correcting the lovely blotches and misc. floating body parts.

I'm sorry you were not happy with the photos you received from your helicopter elopement. That's awful to hear as I always want my couples to have the most beautiful memories of their day and always supply samples of my work ahead of time to ensure they like my style. You are correct that I missed editing the pilot correctly on four photos, after having fully removed him from dozens of others. As soon as I realized this mistake when you pointed it out, I responded to you letting you know I would fix them right away and have since added them to your gallery . I never heard back from you.
I am also sorry you weren't pleased with your appearance. As a photographer, I never alter someone's appearance unless explicitly asked. I never want to assume someone wants to change the way their skin, weight, hair, etc. looks in photos. When you did ask me to edit the acne after you received your gallery, I was more than happy to do so and replied with my fee for the editing work, as it would be an additional time and detailed editing. Once again, I never heard back from you.
If you had asked me to edit out your acne, I would have let you know from the beginning that this would be an additional fee and would have delivered your original gallery with these alterations.

Excellent Experience, Great with Kids
Erica was a delight to work with and our pictures were excellent. She was kind and enthusiastic and skilled at directing us into good poses and locations. She is also great with kids. Our toddler was very unhappy about the whole thing. Erica managed to coax some smiles out of her and also managed to capture lots of great shots of just the two of us. Highly recommend her.
