We worked with Emily for our wedding on July 5 and I can’t recommend her more. This was both of our first times getting professional photos taken and Emily made us feel so comfortable and confident—we had so much fun taking photos and working with her was an absolute dream. Many of our family and friends commented on how impressed they were with her work. If we ever wanted to do professional photos again it wouldn’t even be a question in our minds who we would want to work with. We booked with Emily for our August 2023 Wedding and could not be happier. It is very evident that she loves her job and goes above and beyond to make your day just how you want it. I felt like I had a friend with me all day and some of my guests even asked if she was a close family friend/family! She is upbeat and positive and makes everyone feel relaxed and comfortable. Enthuasiasm and passion are contagious, and Emily is brimming with both! From our first coffee meeting to photographing my bridal shower and making our wedding day perfect, she was truly loved by everyone she met and has left a lasting impression on our entire family ever since.

Parents, Aunts, friends, cousins, my husband and I…we ALL still talk about how wonderful she was. Just days before our wedding, our pet care fell through unexpectedly. Without a beat, Emily sprang into action offering to have her boyfriend take care of our dog and bring him to any destination of the day. I can’t tell you how much that meant to us and what a true testament to her character it was.


On our wedding day, she was everywhere! Capturing priceless reactions during speeches, sweet hugs at our cocktail hour, and genuine moments of togetherness with my husband and I surrounded by 150 of our favourite people.


Since receiving the gallery, I’ve cried, laughed, and cherished every single photo. And can’t count how many people have commented with “these are best wedding photos I’ve ever seen!” Since I’m a wedding vendor myself, I truly respect and appreciate when others love their craft and show it. Words cannot express my gratitude, and my families gratitude for this amazing photographer! Emily and her enthusiasm for her art made me extremely excited for my big day! Extremely professional and quick thinking, which is something I admire. On my wedding day, we had a bit of an issue... the road washed out 20 minutes before the ceremony and most of our guests were unable to get to the other side of the road! As soon as Emily found this out, she quickly made myself feel at ease (the bride) as she said we will use the time to take shots of myself and all my bridesmaids! (& of course hang out and enjoy the down time) She made sure we didn't waste anytime as my father-in-law took the pontoon boat to meet the rest of the guests at the nearest boat launch, along with the catering company with all our food! What a day it was! Her up-beat attitude never wavered through-out the craziness of the day as things were obviously delayed! Her work is amazing; her earthy, light style is what drew me to her. She was also very flexible for coming out on the boat and taking photos of myself and my hubby, even getting off the boat and coming on the island with us! All my guests had a blast with Emily, my family adored her and this will not be the last time we work with Emily Jean Photography!
