Elizabeth is so good at her job, she had our guests and family praising her during and after the wedding. Our wedding was in August and one of the hottest days of the year. While everyone was dying from the heat, Elizabeth just kept pushing through and getting every photo she deemed necessary. She knows how to communicate effectively to groups and get them to pose or stand certain ways without confusion. Engagement shoots can be somewhat overwhelming and awkward, but Elizabeth is incredibly funny and made the shoot very fun and feel natural. What a blessing it was to stumble upon Beth. I say tumble because we had a photographer but it didn’t work out. I then reached out to another photographer, but she was busy on our day so she recommended other photographers and one of those was the lovely Beth.

From our first conversation, Beth was amazing to speak with. You could hear her love for her job, so much that is really not a job but just really a passion. This translated to our time together during our engagement session and our wedding day.

First, Beth goes above and beyond. She takes it so seriously. Wants every perfect shot, every emotion, every shot possible (it’s almost tiring LOL, kidding Beth!!). For our engagement session Beth spent 2 hours with us and gave us so so many memories.

Then, due to COVID our original wedding date could not happen. Beth was so kind, understanding and patient as we weighed our options and made a decision. Finally we were able to have our perfect day. Beth was not only a photographer, she was a friend, a dress fixer, hair fixer, posture guru, comedian, a ninja, everything in the book she was it. The best part is that everyone loved her its like she was always meant to be part of our day.

We have received our sneaks, and we are so so so in love. So many emotions to relive. Her work is just perfection. You can feel the tears, the laughter, the love. We cried, we laughed as we relived our day. We cannot wait to see the rest!!

When you hire a photographer with 13+ experience in the industry, you are hiring someone that knows where they need to be and when for special little moments in the day. She knows when things typically happen, what moments are fun to capture, and where to shoot when a moment happens. I think this is really important when choosing a photographer, this quality of service comes with experience and it isn't something you can necessarily teach. You can compare styles of photographers, but you can't teach when and where to shoot. She truly captures the heart and soul of your entire day, and then her perfect timeless style puts a bow on all of it.

Beth makes everyone feel so comfortable in front of the camera, it's almost as if you are just hanging out with a friend. A lot of men don't "love" to get their pictures taken, but my husband Ben felt INSTANTLY comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience from engagement shots to our wedding day. She communicates so well, she's funny, has a relaxed and controlled vibe, you just feel like you are in the BEST hands.

Beth is truly the greatest of all time, from her impeccable service all the way to photo delivery. During COVID, Beth NEVER made me feel pressure and she was authentic and professional the entire time, but was also there for me as a friend. Like all small businesses, her business was hit hard as well but she never put my in a corner or placed pressure on me when I wanted to postpone my wedding day. She was fully supportive, empathetic, and was very supportive of my decisions. I think this is important to highlight, because a lot of vendors at the time were under a lot of pressure and so were the couples. It was nice to have someone to turn to that held space for me, and could give me support and her best advice, even though she was likely going through a lot herself. She navigated COVID with grace and dignity, and I think this just depicts the quality person that she is.

Beth happened to be available for our wedding date in a flukey, last-minute situation… and at the time I had NO idea just how lucky we were to find her!!! Not only does Beth produce absolutely gorgeous photography, but she is so sweet and a total blast to spend time with. On the day of the wedding, Beth was amazingly helpful. She lent a hand with tasks and had a sharp eye for catching little details during the day. She was even great about helping us stay on time during the morning. While we were taking photos she had us laughing away and feeling so natural. Her prompts (when she gave them) were subtle, but perfectly timed, and helped us feel more comfortable around her and in front of the camera. She has a very creative eye – with our wedding in the middle of winter, I was worried the photos would be drab – but they’re glowing!!!! She picked beautiful spots to place us, and I’m so impressed with her eye for photography. The day was so wonderful, that my sister (who is engaged) promptly asked Beth to be her photographer. Beth shot our destination wedding in Mexico this January and we definitely hit the jackpot with her. I've worked with a few other professional photographers and while my experiences with them were great, Beth has this incredible knack for making you feel like you've known her your entire life. We hired Beth to do our engagement and wedding photography on the recommendation of my brother-in-law and sister-in-law, who got married a few years before we did. We knew even before getting started that we were in for a special treat.
The first thing I noticed about Beth is her close attention to detail – throughout the few months that we worked together, we filled out multiple questionnaires dealing with everything from how we first met, the history of our relationship, to all the intimate details of our wedding, including all of the important people we wanted to include in our family portraits to ensure that no photo opportunity was missed.
When our engagement session was cut short due to cold weather, we expressed an interest in doing a follow-up session at a farther destination that was meaningful for my husband and I. Beth more than accommodated this request, travelling over an hour to meet with us and spending much longer than the allotted time to ensure that our pictures were perfect.
Prior to our wedding day, I was experiencing a lot of anxiety about choosing a location for our “first look” – our wedding venue is a popular tourist destination in Toronto and there were sure to be a lot of people lurking about during our daytime photo session. When Beth was unable to make the trip down (due to a ~50 km distance and short notice on my part), she let me video conference her into my site visit and talked me through a detailed strategy for the day so that we could have maximum privacy for our special moment.
On the big day, I was so impressed with Beth’s professionalism. No detail was missed and Beth took extra care to ensure we got all of the photos we needed notwithstanding the incredibly tight timeline we set out for her and various complications that arose.
Beth’s positive attitude is infectious and her passion for what she does really reflects in her work. Looking back on the photos from our wedding day, my husband and I were thrilled with how they turned out. The moments she captured were flawless and at the same time completely natural. Nothing looked staged and no smile looked forced. I am having the hardest time deciding which photos I want to print and frame in our home – I want to print every single one!

Let me start by saying that one of the highlights of our wedding was having Elizabeth capture our special day. From the beginning planning process with Elizabeth, I already knew our personalities would click and that we had made the right choice in choosing Elizabeth to be our photographer. Through our email communication and our initial phone call, she answered all of our questions in detail and really set my mind at ease.

Her easy-going, personable and fun demeanor made it so easy to be ourselves on our wedding day and we felt like we were in good hands the entire time. We whole-heartedly appreciated how Elizabeth really took her time with us and was flexible and accommodating with her time; never did we feel rushed. Following the wedding, so many of my guests unanimously commented: "out of all the weddings we've been to, your photographer and her second shooter were the only ones who talked to us, tried to get to know us, and actively sought us out to take our photographs". This is just the type of person Elizabeth is - friendly, kind, approachable, and detail-oriented.

Following the wedding, Elizabeth shared a folder of sneak peek photos and the rest of the album was delivered on the date promised. We were beyond impressed by the phenomenal quality of her photos - they were everything we had hoped for and more. She was able to exquisitely and expertly capture an air of lightness in our reception venue that lacked light, details and special little moments were not overlooked.
