 It was a pleasure to have Christine shoot our wedding. We felt nothing but support & care throughout what ended up being a very busy & HOT day. We faced a record hot day this past July 2019 and Christine was resilient! She managed to be creative, thoughtful & flexible even through the crazy hot conditions. 

She also has a special way with family and friends.  Ensuring they feel comfortable but also makes the whole experience enjoyable with her playful encouragement. The result, absolutely stunning photos. We're thrilled she was able to capture these special moments so beautifully.

We chose Christine for a few reasons. We had seen that she was familiar with shooting our venue Serenity Cottage through other couples blogs online and admired her beautiful photos that she had captured, especially the candids. Through back and forth emails she helped us feel confident in her because her upbeat and fun personality. We believed that finding a photographer that could make us feel comfortable, goofy and 100% ourselves in front a camera was very important to us and Christine you exceeded all expectations! You also had us at “I love a bottle of red wine in the afternoon, the smell of bacon in the morning”.

As two individuals who are not at all photogenic and generally loathe to partake in the photography experience, we were hesitant about booking a photographer. However, from the onset, Christine was flexible and responsive to our small, intimate wedding request and showcased a genuine invested interest in our special day. Upon meeting her a week before our wedding, she absolved the majority of our woes and gave the impression that we were longtime acquaintances. Her charismatic personality compelled us to feel at ease which translated to our best natural smiles finding their way to the surface on our wedding day. It was a pleasure to work with her for she was forthright yet nuanced, and captured the spirit and essence of our relationship despite having only known us for a short period of time. We were thrilled with the end result of our pictures and are so pleased that our memories of this time managed to be encapsulated on film. As mentioned, not only do the photos showcase our true worth as subjects (ie - our best 'sides') but they present who we are individuals within the scheme of our relationship. I would happily recommend Christine's artistry to everyone for she has convinced me that photography can indeed be an art form as well.

I first met Christine when she photographed my best friend's wedding five years ago in Ottawa. I now live in Montreal, and when I got engaged, she was the first person we reached out to, because I had absolute faith in her final product... not to mention her overall happy personality and positive attitude! When you're spending some of the most important days of your lives with this person, you want to make sure you get along well! She was not only willing to travel for us, she did it twice! Once for our engagement session and once for our wedding day. She was incredibly accommodating, always looking out for us and making sure we were happy, from the very start. She responds to emails fast and answered questions we didn't even know we had. She offered a number of different packages and helped us find the best one for what we needed. We wanted a second photographer for our wedding day and she brought along the amazing Charlotte Buckle. We had a loud group of 14 bridesmaids and groomsmen, and she wrangled them all! She was the first person to help me fix my dress if it was out of place or give my husband a cloth to make sure he had clean glasses in photos. Even though she does this all the time, she treats every time with so much attention and care! If you're looking for a well priced photographer who is guaranteed to provide amazing photos (and albums!), who blends into the background so well while still capturing the best moments, who stays positive and is up for anything, this is your gal. Our experience with Christine has been an absolute pleasure. Upon meeting her at a cafe the first time, both my husband and I thought she was really easy to get along with and a very upbeat and bubbly person. Our first session together was our engagement shoot where Christine gave us cute props to break the tension and we ventured out to many different areas to get some great shots!

Our wedding day was no different, Christine was promptly on time and was able to get along with the entire bridal party with her friendly personality. We are so happy with the final pictures and got some nice candid ones :)

Christine Reid is amazing, plain and simple. Working with Christine was easily the best part of planning our wedding and it was such a joy having her there on the big day. My husband and I are both pretty shy, but Christine made us both feel unbelievably comfortable in front of the camera. She was also incredibly discreet and did not distract us from our big moments - I don't even remember seeing her during the ceremony!

Not only was she a joy to work with, her photographs of our wedding turned out beautifully. Both friends and family have consistently commented on how impressed they are by the photos, as well as how impressed they were by Christine herself. Her attitude, ability to capture a crowd's attention (to wrangle the group shots) and her eye for the important details of our wedding have all been consistently complimented by our wedding guests as we share our photos with them.

In addition to her wonderful work, Christine is a lovely, kind and thoughtful person. She is a joy to be around and I am so happy to have met her.

We loved having Christine as our photographer. She was very flexible and went out of her way to get extra details of the day for us. For just being one photographer she was phenomenal. Her lighting is consistently good throughout her photos and another main highlight is her winning personality. Christine is very comfortable, witty and seems to fit in with the crowd wherever she is.
